I hope you're right. I love my M20, but yeah it's under powered. I'm not really that worried about top speed, but my biggest issues with it are torque, mechanical brakes, seat, and ridiculously small range between PA levels. PA5 needs to be 5mph faster, and PA1 needs to be 5 mph slower. Right now there's about a 10 mph difference from PA1-PA5, and it's not adjustable. I'd also like to see it engineered for easier maintenance in general. Just taking the seat off is a major project if you don't have a deep socket set handy, and pretty much everything is hard to get at and difficult to work with. That all being said I think the bike is a blast and I love it, so here's hoping your 2.0 forecast is accurate.

Before any details were announced I really thought they were going to go with dual motors, be really interesting to see this increase in torque. Great vid 👍

I don’t think There’s as big a market for dual motors to be honest.

Im one of those guilty Engwe email recipients who instantly delete anything from Engwe, especially now that my warranty has expired, and the Engwe technical team couldn't answer any of my queries regarding any parts in their own design. And just responding with a havent a clue dont know, but we can sell you a new part!
So yes... maybe by sharing our likes and dislikes , we will eventually hopefully all be riding better bikes by designer and commuters alike.
And yes M20 2.0 could this be a Super 73 Brooklyn competitor, lots of ebike manufacturers are upping their game .
Bluetooth rider configuration for legal street use would be great to bridge the gap between that underpowered legal use and the off road choice
    Good informative video 👍

Good video l! I’m 6ft and my m20 is fine for me the only mod I’ve done is the breaks but I’m doing that rear suspension soon as it does nothing! I’ve owned mine for 10 months had an error code about 4 months ago and found it to be water ingress into the front lights and blew the blister! Engwe were really good and sent me 2 new front lights and a peddle sensor. I’ve put some waterproof Tape around the new lights and it’s fine now. I love my bike always puts a smile on my face when I ride it.

@@ModProjects4306 I’d rather just modify my m20 mate I only use mine to ride to work and back 4 days a weak approx 4 miles each day and the odd bike ride! Got it on ride to work scheme from st3ke cycles who were brilliant with there after sales customer care! I’d like to get an air rear suspension and maybe new front suspension. I got the single battery version as I don’t need double I charge it ever 10 days it’s great I ride in PASS 3 and it’s just great. Wonder how much the 2.0 will be I’m guessing around £1800?

@@Ratsinthereticles I reckon £1899 with two batteries. Guess we’ll find out in the next day or so how wrong I am. 😂

Give it a few months buddy. They said this about the X26 … too big a market for it in the UK for them to ignore it.

anyhow looked into these bikes due to illness (mecfs/longcovid), riding a normal bike started to be an issue.
we can have some severe winter conditions (-40c this winter for a few days, not normally as low tho) so battery range was for me a key point even if not riding during such peak cold conditions.
mp20 with dual battery seemed like a nice one.

Hi, just got myself one of these, love it, looks great, first e-bike I've owned, got it mainly for looks. BUT. The top of the chain is touching the tyre when in gear 1, is this normal. All Engwe tell me is to adjust the derailleur, that is not going to work. In fact the rear wheel is not even in the centre of the frame hence too clos to the chain. Are you aware of this, is this normal for a rear wheel not to be centred, is it safe?
