I bought an Engwe L20 in Flamigo Pink as a birthday present to myself in April I also bought a 90L trailer with a load capacity of 80kg, which will be upgraded from a plastic tub to a 160L lockable resin box when the box arrives on Wed/Thurs I ordered a 16Ah battery with my bike for improved range The crappy tyres I've replaced with a very chunky Black Cat on the rear & Kenda on the front, vastly improved traction, braking & much less rolling resistance (the noisier the tyre the higher the rolling resistance & the higher the battery drain) I've unlocked the throttle & removed the restriction ( i have full Class A motorcycle licence so not a muppet who doesn't know how to ride). My L20 does 32Mph on the flat & barely slows down up all but the steepest hills thanks to its 37 lb ft of torque (more than most small engine motorcycles/scooters have), as I live a fair few hundred feet above sea level this is handy The trailer will soon have the addition of a 220/240v power bank & solar panel giving virtually unlimited mileage with a second folding solar panel stored in the trailer

Have an idea for a trailer top lightweight frame to mount a permanently in use solar panel & one or two more folding solar panels with telescopic to slide out from underneath it, the legs i'll probably adapt from fibreglass tent poles as they're strong, lightweight & have some flex
I ordered this bike, but the DPD post won't deliver it because it's too heavy. Now I need to fix the problem that Engwe created. So, my advice is to check the weight limits with your delivery company.
There is always a two man delivery notice on them. We’ve had DPD before with no problems on 36kg boxes as long as there is 2 people. I’m sure engwe will sort it out!
It’s hearsay, we’ve never heard anything like that and know a few people that have this bike and no problems! At the end of the day the company’s aftercare are fantastic so any problems would be rectified!

Is there a battery with a bigger capacity? Ali Express seems to offer some, don't know how good they are.

When rain water slides down the battery dose water fill up at the base were the battery connects too as am thinking of getting one
