- Getting into remixing is a great way of using Cubase creatively. This video by remix producer Willie Green from Green House Studio, Brooklyn New York is the first of a series that answers the question what do I need to know to remix a song? It starts looking at how to remix a song step by step, thinking about the whole process for a remix, including choosing a song to remix, creating a template for remixing, thinking about using loops, synths and drums in a remix and more.
We hope you find this video entertaining and useful. If you like what you see, please leave a comment and tell us what you think. Thank you.

Thank You Sir
It's such a joy to watch someone with better organization than mine. And in bite-sized pieces, too! No eyes glazing over...
Much appreciate it, this will video will help me become more efficient with my time!
Lots of great tips. Digging all of your track organizing tips.
Nice video. Thank you so much
cool
No. Ich hoped for some explain of how to get the vocals. Starting with the vocals already extracted ist boarding.
Thanks for the video. At the 5:42 mark, everything's on the grid but not on the measure. Shift the tracks two quarter beats to the right.
I tried to Set Definition From Tempo, but it didn't work for me. When I changed the Project Tempo, the audio track just stayed the very same.
By now I figured out, that the audio I wanted to work on can't be set to Musical Mode. The reason: I have the same audio on a different track in my project, where it has SpectralLayers applied - and audio material with Extensions applied can't be set to Musical Mode afaik.
However, this took me some annoying minutes to figure out and could be fixed by providing the option to create a copy when trying to set audio material to Musical Mode in such circumstances.
Btw: Great Video, thank you (:
does anyone know any good speaker brands or the name of the ones witha yellow or turquoise circle
Hello i have ordered my cubase and its been 14 days i didn, t receive my e license.... @cubase
No issue with production but I can't help viewing remixes as insulting to the original artist.
