5:55 Hey it's EphemeralRemy! I like his stuff. I wouldn't get face tattoos myself but he has some pretty nice ones. But he's heavy into body mods anyway with the split tongue, vampire fangs and many holes in his ear. He also works at a tattooshop.
Thanks for watching and replying! You are the second person to bring up Remy, he seems like a great dude! I am seriously considering doing a video on him. Thanks for stopping by!
Name tats are fine if the name is that of your child, or a memorial tattoo for a loved one who has passed on. I got one for my husband who passed 2 years ago, in addition to his initials on my arm which are 20 years old. (Jan Griffiths).
I have a thigh piece that consists of a koi fish surrounded by peonis. I wanted to get a freckle pattern that I love on my husband's chest placed on the fish. My artist told me that she would do the four little dots that represented the freckles, but would never do tattoos with names of significant others. The dots are really tiny and in a pinch could be covered up, although I can't really see that happening in the near future as I have been with my husband for 36 years with no plans to separate from him.
That's amazing! Happy 36 years. I've been with my wife now for 12 years. I understand the sentiment that your tattoo artist expressed, though. Even when you know it's just gonna be you and the love of your life together forever, there can still be terrible things that may happen. However, if If you are still adamant about getting something to profess your love, then I'm sure there are some tattoo artists that will help you out. Thanks for your comment and watching!
I have my late husband's initials tattooed on my arm. His initials were DCG. They are done in Old English letters. I always get asked what they stand for. I tell them Drunk Crazy Girls, which is not the meaning at all. I also have the number 37 tattooed 37 times. It's my favorite number. I don't know why----it just is. (Jan Griffiths).
That's really cool. Yes, commemoration pieces are great and meaningful. I had to chuckle at the "Drunk Crazy Girls" comment. Sometimes you don't feel like going into something like that so I respect that response.
The only thing that throws me off is a face tattoo. I love tattoos, but as a professional, I won’t get anything that can’t be covered. I do understand cultural face tattoos though in areas it is common and not considered unusual.
Don't put Remy in your box. His entire story is completely outside of the rest of the people with face tattoos. He and his wife work in the tattoo industry, they are a huge wave of positive change for the industry.
That's respectable, and I do mention certain caveats to face tattoos, one of which was being in an industry where it wouldn't hinder your ability to make a living. I personally don't mind face tattoos, but I feel like a majority of people get them because they are trendy right now.
@BeBayStudios I understand your point, but but to show a picture of their incredible bodysuit that's not even a recent image and to not mention Remy by name is a bit low. It would be like putting a picture of Lily Lu in with a bunch of random images of heavily tattooed people and not recognizing that they're not just another tattooed person but they are industry figureheads and integral to the positive forward momentum of the industry
I respect your opinion. I don't think it's necessary for me to mention anyone by name that was referenced since the context was positive about those pictures during that segment. That portion of the video went over my opinion of how I feel like you should at least save the face for last which he portrayed a great example of my point. But, I will definitely consider your opinion when editing future videos, even may dedicate videos specifically to icons in the industry. You're giving me ideas! Thanks for commenting.
I respect your opinion. To each their own for sure! It's usually a form of self-expression for people. That's why I advise that a tattoo should be meaningful, but that's only if someone were to ask me my opinion on it.
I’m not getting any tattoos EVER! Even if I Become a tattoo artist I will be the worlds first plain skin tattoo artist However in an alternate universe where I would get a tattoo It would be evil Emperor Zurg chest piece and just below Buzz Lightyear chest piece I’d also get tattoos of all of my favourite characters not just DISNEY! The reasons why I will absolutely not ever get any tattoos is because we live in a very cruel world where you are judged instantly by your appearance, it limits your ability to get a job, tattoo removal might as well be impossible because you cannot get them removed with a laser not really anyway, and most of the time people end up covering up tattoos with another one. Also tattoo removal cost much much more than the tattoos themselves which is quite a lot of money from what I gather.
Great insight! And I've never had any qualms with tattoos of animated characters. There are some great pieces out there! Considering your final remarks, maybe I should do a video on laser removal? I'd love to do the research on it all. What do you think?

I definitely respect that and agree!
There was a group in high school called "FSU" (fuck shit up), and they all got that tattooed on their chests. Major cringe.
Oh no! Exactly, plays right into the bit I did. Lol
Face tattoos are still odd to me, everywhere else seems sensible.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan, so I agree with you. It's rare that I actually like them. But to each their own, right?
eye tattoo:
That's a great addition, too! Although I consider that more of a body modification.
@@xec1 that’s the worse one
@@xec1there was a lady who got eye tattoos to dye her eye a color and now she’s blind

Especialy, #1Face, #2neck and hands, tattoos, But people in general, way over do it nowerdays.
I agree! And that's just my own personal opinion.
Avoid telling people what to do, at all costs. Lol
That's also addressed multiple times in the episode too
This video is dumb lol like your comparing little high school
Clicks to actual gangs lol
I was referencing cliques, not comparing. There's a significant difference.
@@BeBayStudios gotcha have a good day
My dude!!!! You don’t look any different… except the pierced ears!!!!!!
And a bit heavier now! Lol
Who is this, btw?
Avoid tattoos in general
