Just fantastic! I once mistakenly sat at a table with Joe's parents with my Mom and Sis at a Red Creek show in Rochester NY (I think he was 15 and already opening for BB King- saw that one too!) Ended up meeting him and getting a signed photo. He and his parents were the nicest ever! So happy and proud to see how far he's come and how amazing his playing is!

There are some bands and singers I can't stand but I wouldn't dream of torturing myself by visiting any of their vids. Well, it takes all kinds.
Can’t get enough of his sound. I have seen all the greats. Best concert I have ever been to. In his fourties now and playing since he was 4. Getting requests to play for crowds since he was 7. Playing in front of 10,000+ crowds at age 11. The individuals who would have been as great as JB never lived to his age. Kosof, Stevie Ray Vaun, etc.. my opinion... the very best ever. Can’t wait to see him again in Cleveland March7. Yes ,again. Have no problem spending another $1000+ for the day. Best drug there is. JB🤙.

What a fantastic concert ! Joe Bonamassa at his supreme best. I've just discovered your RUclips channel. Many thanks for sharing such treasured moments. Waiting eagerly for the next ones.

Thanks for posting this fantastic concert. I've seen many "blues greats" and Joe is now on the top rung. I've seen Joe two times in the last 1 1/2 years. It's hard to believe someone can be so "ultra talented." He assembled a remarkable band and I'm sure all of them are paid quite well.
We saw Joe at the Pacific Road Arts Centre in Birkenhead years ago. Just across the River Mersey from Liverpool. We were right at the front. It was a small venue now sadly closed. What a storming night it was. It was later he hit the big time.
Saw Joe here in Montreal wwaayy back in , I believe, 2006/7 at the Saint Denis Theater. Fantastic show, but my bucket list show will be when he returns with that Blues Queen, The Fabulous Beth Hart! I have their Amsterdam concert on DVD and it’s almost worn out from playing it. Nice to see Anton’s got a steady check coming in. 😂. Good for him, he’s a match to Joe’s beat.
I can't believe I didn't find this whole thing until today... what a great great concert it was, I am so happy I saw this live.. and wow.. how good recording this is.. awesome work :) It also seems you had a fun incredible meeting with Joe.... not a surprise... he seems to be such a nice guy, not getting big headed at all... for me the best musician and guitar player alive... learning to play my guitar here , Joe is one of the big reasons why I wanted to learn some chords and challenge myself at the old age of 53... just for fun and of course to pester my friends :)) Thank you for this amazing recording... hopefully world will be a bit more normal some day again and we get a chance to see Joe playing live again :))

I am impressed by the side-by-side comparison showing what really goes into the process - We very much appreciate your time and effort (and love)! Thanks for the encouraging feedback. My motto in life is: If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. I was fortunate to get enough alternate sources to patch up the unuseable parts and the audio came out really well. Except of course the audience chatter, which I could do nothing about. I was seated next to this tipsy guy and his friend and the former especially just wouldn't stop babbling! During louder songs it's tolerable but especially Mountain Time (and Sloe Gin in part) suffered a great deal. And what did he go on about? About his company's Xmas party where one of his colleagues "got up the courage goddamn and went up there on stage to sing karaoke!". This can annoyingly be heard at the start of Mountain Time. At this point I'd had it and gave him an angry look at which he gave a slobbering "You stop filming". As if that bothered anyone (I did not raise the camera above my head to block anyone's view). I mean, why pay a hefty ticket price and then waste the concert for everyone around you when you could have stayed at the bar and saved your money?
My pleasure. And yes, I wish we had had the technology we have today back in the 80s - 2000s. A lot of the great gigs I attended back then are just vague memories, mostly there's nothing left to retrieve from.
Totally agree. The way they're hitched together is mesmerizing. Of course, the present line-up only has two of the band members here, Reece Wynans and Jade MacRae (and occasionally Mahalia Barnes), but the new line-up, though very different, still kicks ass. Josh Smith on 2nd guitar especially is awesome. First I was sad to see the horn section go, but even songs like Self-inflicted Wounds still sound awesome, now with Calvin Turner's bass solo.Lemar Carter on drums is one helluva machine. Exceptional "Sloe Gin". Wrestled with a bottle of Sloe Gin in my teens one night and the next morning felt like I was going to die next to my friend the toilet.
the soundman really let you down Joe, it sounded like all your leads were only on your monitors on stage and through your amp. The bass was really booming which is fine when everything is balanced, but im sorry the name on the Marquis is "Joe Bonamassa", thats who we want to hear the most!
This might have more to do with where I was seated. Might lower the bass from the mix but can't really bring up the guitar, not to mention the chatter from those around me. Overall, though, I am pleased with the sound. Could be a whole lot worse for an audience recording.
May I add ... have you ever seen anyone get into playing the guitar as much as JB every time it is in his hands? No mundane repetition her. He was asked once what he does after a concert, “Go back to his room, have a glass of wine, grab my guitar and play music. He is a show in himself. Then JB gives each band member the chance to show off there individual talents during a concert. No big head here. If there was a guitar show down between ALL the guitar greats and each was told who they were going to compete against, they would just give it up to JB. There is no competition. If someone out there thinks there is one who could compete with JB, fill me in on who.
I'm really pleased about the quality of the recording ! Digital camera ? , Smartphone ? , Out of the audience ? Very good audio and video quality ! - Concert is running . If the quality stays that way : Excellent !!! 👍 😃 Thank you very , very much !!! - Good job !!! ➡ : 👏👏👏❗

By the way, who is playing the mouth harp? Or am I hallucinating? Last harmonica I saw with Joe was Jimmy Hall from Wet Willie. And I really dig the bonus. Shows your hard work paid off.
They really are something else, the whole band. About the sound mixing ... What exactly is it that you're not crazy about and if possible, how would you improve it? I realize especially in the first few songs the bass is too prominent and occasionally the highs too piercing. The raw audio was quite muffled so I had to crank it up quite a bit to bring some life to it but I would certainly go easier on the bass if I were to remix it. But really what dictates what you can do with it is where you were seated in the first place and being seated at the front and to the right is nowhere near ideal as far as recording goes. Of course, there is nothing I could have done about the tipsy elves babbling away next to me and the binaural mics are unforgiving in that regard. The headphones I used when mixing it weren't very good compared to the reference headphones I am currently using. Still, the way it comes out is of course also dependent on the audio device one is using. But I might actually remix the audio one of these days. Comments welcome.
I appreciate your desire for details and suggestions as the Kahuna of The Video. Vocals (especially Joe and dominant backup female), brass, and keyboards lack punch. Maybe too much midrange and not enough treble? I do admire the rhythm section balance. Reduce bass a smidge and up the drums the same. Most of all, the featured musicians are not turned up when they get their moments, such as the backup when she's wailing, both brass instruments, and even keyboards. None of this is hostile criticism but only suggestions. Overall, I liked the realism of being at the show. Everything I suggested could be due to the soundboard at the show.
@@Xardox17 Thanks for the suggestions. Basically what you hear is what I heard where I was seated. Not the best mix fro. the soundboard but not terrible either. Then again at the back of the venue I reckon there'd been more echo. It's hard to isolate a single player or instrument without affecting everything else when you only have one track to work on. Raising treble sometimes raises the female backup singers' high-pitched parts too much, rather unpleasant. Also I had difficulty at the start finding the right volume level and operating both the camera and the H1 was cumbersome in the dark so I had to do a lot of adjusting of audio levels here and there.
Great concert to watch, but I don't know, after watching uncountable shows, here he looks a bit timid to be, to be honest. only about half way, he looks a bit more warmed up. But sure he is my hero and can't stop listen to him !
The first part I totally agree on, the latter not so much. Compared to most amateur concert vids here, the audio is quite good, though of course nothing like Joe's pro-shot blurays.
@@Bimbomable i agree. The concert itself was fabulous, I've yet to see Joe Bonamassa live. The venue appeared to be a large arena but the response from the audience sounded like it was being held at some small night club. These dudes rocked their asses off and received lukewarm audience response.
@@shuttledriver The audio belies the truth a little: Sitting in the front and not the back and using binaural mics cut off a lot of the audience response whilst unfortunately recording all too accurately the constant babbling the two rather drunk jerks sitting next me were spewing out.

Wow
Great concert to watch, but I don't know, after watching uncountable shows, here he looks a bit timid to be, to be honest. only about half way, he looks a bit more warmed up. But sure he is my hero and can't stop listen to him !
Timid or not, not a single bum note.
@@Bimbomable absolutely right. He will be the greatest for me until I die 😉
How many Paul Jones are there in the UK? Lol
Plus one John Paul Jones
@@Bimbomable Was the first person I thought of when I heard Paul Jones
Coolest thing ever ☺️🤣💖
Purring Cats , the best music .
I LOVED ELVIS PRESLEY...MAY HE RIP......JOE BONAMASSA IS MORE TALENTED....SORRY ELVIS.....❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶
To me Elvis is still number one but can't really compare the two. Both are second two none in their own right and league.
Elvis only Known three cords on guitar and he was on drugs But yes I Loved him as musician
Feels like a sock hop 💃🕺💃🕺💃
Сам вопрос почему камни катятся
Bonamassa бешеный чувак только вот гитара на заднем плане кроме нее все слышно даже Бек Вокал 🤘😎
Uncomfortable dancing, nailed it!
My spidie senses are going off. Don't mess with cat woman❤❤❤
Diferent shade
Yur cat is a rock star. sounds better than the sound on the presentation. not a critic of Joe.
The first part I totally agree on, the latter not so much. Compared to most amateur concert vids here, the audio is quite good, though of course nothing like Joe's pro-shot blurays.
Joe is not interesting for me, but I appreciate your hard work :). Later I will show you something that you gonna like :)
Bara filmad istället att njuta av konserten. Oförståeligt
You can do both. Glad you liked it.
As
Our cat sticks her tongue out and slobbers.....i like yours better
Manipulate plavlist to railroad Joe White House 🏠🏡🏡🏡🏠🏠🏡
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is why I Cant stand Bonamassa , all business
Lame audience
Especially irritated by those who come to a concert only to loudly chit-chat about this and that, ruining others' listening experience.
@@Bimbomable Now I know why the audience response sounded subdued, and most definitely understand your irritation with your concert going neughbors.
