- So, on my birthday (August 22, 2012), I flew from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, then drove to Beverly Hills to look at a car that I was interested in.
First off, I was NOT in the market for a new car. My current car was plenty fantastic. BUT, when I saw this one online, I had to go see it in person.

I saw this video years ago. Something about your video got stuck deep in my brain. It was the first time ever I saw a Maserati GranTurismo, I just fell in love with it. Recently I’ve noticed I could afford one. We went to see one for sale and told the wife “just to see how it fits”.
A few hours late we drove away with it. 👍

I own the '16 MC Stradale and absolutely love the car. Great value for the money. Ferrari engine, very reliable and, frankly, sounds like nothing else on the road. I don't even listen to the radio or use the CD player or satellite stations. I put the windows down and let the engine soundtrack run. Safe travels, Marc.
Sounds great! I'm planning to buy an S model (still not sure whether to buy a convertible or coupe). Trying to convince my wife that they are reliable cars.
+PositiveLastAction Any hand built car is going to have small quirks. It's inevitable. However, this is easily the finest driver I've ever owned. The joy of the simplicity of the drive cannot be described. An easy daily driver--particularly if you live in good weather (unlike here in Vancouver) that can turn into a beast with a mere tap of the pedal. Hands down the most enjoyable car I've ever owned. The Ferrari engine through the Maserati exhaust is a pure symphony of automotive exceptionalism. It's absolutely incomparable. Buy it!

So envious! This is my dream car right here- just unsure of whether I want this one, or the Maserati Alfieri (which would be a two year wait til it's release) but it's safe to say that Maserati has the most exotic and beautiful cars. In my opinion, it's the best looking car on the market hands down, and from what I've seen/heard it is a very enjoyable drive (and don't get me started on that engine, mmm!)
I would just like to say that this is what success looks like in terms of material items, if you put in the hard work, you will reap great rewards. Both a sense of significant accomplishment, along with luxurious assets. Good on you, and all the best for the future.
Absolutely love maserati! I think it's one of the few brands that manages to capture agressive sportiness as well as refined elegance in one design, without ending up having neither of those

This is the true reaction for most people when they go buy an amazing car. It doesn't matter if it's maserati, lamborghini, ferrari, porsche, hyundai, nissan, honda, or any car. If you love the car, people freak out. But most of the time, people hide their emotions to show the dealer that you 'dont really need the car' but 'will buy at lower price' attitude. I for one, giggled like a little girl when I test drove my current car (genesis coupe). Nothing exotic but it was certainly felt exotic compared to honda civic with 200 hp difference. Loved the reaction, Loved the comedy, Loved the car, and loved the video. Congrats on your purchase and hope to hear more of the exhaust! It's orgasmic indeed
This is very true! I actually just bought a Tesla, and even though it is not an exotic I absolutely am in love with it. I’m excited to drive it every time! But thank you for the kind words :)

guys, its not Impossible to get one of these, I learned that after years of hard work. Its the most amazing car (my opinion) and definitely worth the patience and work.
Not even close to impossible. The mind can make you do infinitely more incredible things than just buy a car like this.

I bet, I have a BMW F30 335d xDrive, doesn't sound all that but 0-62 4.6 sec and still does over 40mpg, but your car or C63 Merc would be awesome just can't beat the sound of a V8!

The great thing with Maserati's are a comfortable ride, a great sounding Ferrari engine and looks that makes heads turn. It is my dream car and I hope to own a Maserati one day like yours or with a red exterior with beige leather, like a true Italian car..:-)

Epic car! I love my GT MC! I have one in grey with the factory Livery kit. Check out the jukebox feature on the radio. I had no idea it existed. Some kid showed it to me at a cars and coffee event. You can copy CD's to the media center hard drive so you basically have a CD changer without the CD's. Plus you can still hook up an iPhone in the glove box. I had no idea this feature was buried in the manuals.

Great short story, very entertaining. I found it highly amusing, this resonates with the emotional experience of buying these things, hence why I eagerly await the arrival of my own new Granturismo Sport this Saturday. Its the amazing sound and cool, slightly understated image that do it, plus the ability to take family and friends out. Excellent choice, enjoy.

Excellent choice mate. Thats the one thing about sales tho....always have to get the person in the car. My aunt went to the merc dealership to just trade in her "old" e350 car for a newer model. Guy took her in the E63 AMG......bad idea for her, good for the sales person. Thing is sick.
