OH! I totally agree with you about the global integration! I also believe that all online purchases should be added to your profile. I just don't understand why in the year 2022, with the technology that we have, this can't be done.
As someone who loves palladium hardware, I would be over the moon to be offered an exceptional bag in my Hermes lifetime. 😄 Knowing that it’s got that gorgeous hardware makes it perfect. 🤩 To be fair though I’d be happy with any bag, they are all beautiful 😊
I think Hermes should make all there quota bags as made to order only, that way anyone (new or old to the brand) can walk in anytime and ask for a bag and get it. This would also put I a stop to the readable market as well.
I thought about it before but then I relaise the waiting date will be years and years because if people only order bkc. Those artisan who can handsew those bags not enough to satisfy the market. They have increase the atelier but the market is getting bigger and bigger that's why they save the the popular bag for the long-term clients first . It's lack of bags now .even my aunttie is a decades of clients she still have to wait for months to have the material and colour she wanted .
@@stjohndiva1 ah….I get u after re-reading ur comment. They do that in UK. But don’t in other countries. Maybe coz they need to use the bags to sell their other stuff.
I prefer gold hardware on Hermes bags, maybe excepting the pink leathers and possibly the blue jean leather also. But they cost so much that this is not likely to ever be a problem for me! Thank you for the video!
Really interesting video ! The purchase history of USA can now be seen by Europe, they did this recently, it is no more a rumor that’s what Purseblog posted anyway ;) Something I don’t understand is why Hermes does not create a software for clients to see their special orders, where they could choose on the computer the different colors, stitches, hardware etc … it’s only with paper but you can’t have a real idea of what the bag will look like at the end.
Yes, I've heard these rumours as well..but last time I personally checked, they couldn't access my US purchases. Not yet, at least. 🫣 Some boutiques now do SO on an iPad which as you pointed out is a huge step up 🙌
Do you think they don’t include a raincoat for mini bags purely because they would not fit in the bag along with the essential items that take up the majority of the room? 😅
I live 500 miles from my store where my account is but thankfully they appreciate the effort I make by flying down or train trips to come visit the store. I’ve had 2 sought after quota this year. Black birkin ghw and gold kelly ghw and just did a special order. Thankfully there are still SAs and stores who look past the $$ and see genuine brand lovers still. No interested in exotics thankfully just out my league and definitely not my lifestyle.
I love your mini Kelly. I really like your style. I am not a big fan of those people who have ten Birkins and fifteen Kellys. The bags just sit on a shelf not being used so it’s a waste. Can you do a video on your watches maybe if you have a few?
I used to be that customer that was all about excess until I realised during the madness of 2020 what a waste it was..so now, I'm trying to be a more conscious consumer and only buy pieces I'll truly use and enjoy..although I do make mistakes myself 😅 This is the only watch I ever really wear - ruclips.net/video/OsIMaNtKZVA/видео.html 🖤
Do you consider to buy or vlog mulberry bag? I like their leather quality. I have a few hermes and other luxury bags but mulberry is outstanding as well. Thank you.
I submitted a wish list over 3 years ago. I have spent thousands & still waiting. In 2021 I spent 6k and in 2022 4k; Ive purchased jewelry, dinnerware, scarves, bags (garden, evelyn & picotin), belts, bag charms, etc. I inquire every two months on the status of my bag & was repeatedly told "not yet". Last week I just received a text from my SA "My Manager disapproved your bag, its not in my control". My SA has repeatedly told me to be considered for a birkin I MUST establish a spending trend. How do you explain this method? Is it because I am a woman of color? Pls advise me as to what I should do - btw I have ALL text history.
Do consider preloved & reseller market, this time now is really good with the price. You can find a good and new kelly 28 or birkin 30 around $26K. A little more if you want popular color. Just do some research.
I'm so sorry to hear about your negative experience. I'd consider asking your Advisor to make an appointment with the Manager just so they can hopefully shed some light on why your request wasn't approved 🖤 Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞
Hi! I just wanted to add a thought. How do you feel your relationship with your SA is? My biggest piece of advice for those struggling to get something off of their wishlist is to find an SA who you really mesh with. At the end of the day, your SA is the one who is representing you and it’s really important to build a relationship where you are a name to them instead of a number. Find something you have in common with them outside of Hermes, see them more than just asking how the wish list is coming along, etc. Sorry to hear about your struggles!
I think people don't complain about other things likes rolls royces because that's a higher tier of money people. And by then you don't complain much about things being hard to get. People with money find less and less obstacles to get anything...
The global system definitely would be much better, I completely agree! What I (and maybe some other people who don't live near an Hermès Boutique) would absolutely appreciate would be counting online purchases as purchases that help to get offered a quota bag. I understand that the SAs also want to make profit when working with their clients in person, but unfortunately, not everybody has the chance to build a relationship with an SA (because of reasons mentioned above), but nevertheless has a great appreciation for the brand in general, for their heritage, and is also interested in the different product lines (table wear, items for the office or the home section, and so on). So that would be something I would be happy about 😊. Loved the video, as usual, G 🖤💖! 💞
Excellent point. Also, stores could make remote selling a lot more seamless, so you could place orders over the phone / via text with a local Advisor that would be shipped to your home. Some boutiques are already doing this, but if for some reason the item doesn't work out for you, it can be quite a challenge to take it back 🙄
@@IamGPS Yes, that would be fantastic, too - especially because the Boutiques oftentimes do have some more options (considering colours or styles in general) than the website has; and returns should be hassle free (if the item is in its original condition, of course). I remember that Boutiques were offering a similar service during the heights of the pandemic, they listed items on the website that were only available in a Boutique, someone from the Boutique would contact you, and they would send it over to you; now, they don't have this anymore, unfortunately 😕.

As long as you use the same email address online as you do in-store, your purchases should be visible at the boutique's too 🖤

It will take away the special experience.
@@ypf7717 I disagree, it would be just like placing a SO.

@Ebony Edwards-Carr, such an interesting suggestion 🖤

On SO orders….I think it’s just easier to pass the paper to the artisan at the workshop. Don’t think they work with laptops. ;) just my own theory.

that makes perfect sense!
love the brand, hate the system.
I can see why 🖤
I need your advice concerning the Evelyn PM. Must there be a Hermes logo on the strap? I have read different reviews. Thx

I haven't looked at Mulberry in a few years, but I should give them a shot. Thank you for the suggestion 🫶
I agree that one system for Hermès is a great idea. I am planning to buy something in Australia and I would love to have my details visible.
It'd make life a lot easier 🙌
I enjoy your videos but i feel like your titles have almost nothing to do with your actual video. So clickbait-y 😕
I appreciate the feedback. There're 4 topics I discuss in the video, one of which is the Hermes Game that I don't believe in playing 🖤
Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know the mini K didn’t have a lock or raincoat. 🙏🏼❤️🍊😘😘😘Sandy
Unfortunately, they're skimping on the Mini 😒
I actually adore most of the metiers of Hermès so for me, I'm here for the heritage and love of the quality and more. 😍😍😍
I'm with you 🙌

Well, did they explain what "trending spend" they want to see? I'm curious where your boutique is, perhaps the location is very competitive?
