THANK YOU!! You have just saved my sanity:) I was able to finish my project and not waste any more vinyl after watching your video. Thank you again:)
What a great idea! And I never would have thought of the washi tape setting for teeny tiny vinyl. I have ruined so much vinyl...thanks for the tip’
Haha, yeah I avoided tiny cuts because I kept ruining my vinyl. Ill have to try that tip!
Good tips suggesting Oracle 651 and using the Washi Tape setting for reverse weeding. I am no longer afraid to try reverse weeding! Thanks.
What is the benefit for using the washi tape setting when cutting smaller fonts please?
It was super helpful and I loved it wasn’t a long video. Thank you
I weed like this sometimes, and I use dollar store painters' tape to tape the corners of the transfer tape down to my workbench while I peel up the backing off the vinyl. It's a bit tedious, but it works.
Hi Kayla! Thank you for this tip - It's been a life saver!! I have really fine lettering in my too and I have tried so many settings on my explore air 2 machine - What setting would you recommend?
I have tried with the washi sheet setting but it doesnt cut the letters but then if i move up the pressure 165 the "l"s and "i"s just move when weeding.
I really need to organize my spice cabinet! Now I feel motivated to change out my bottles and make it cute!
Sprinkled with Paper since the new year I’ve been motivated to organize my house! Lol it’s fun to make it cute with vinyl!
This doesn't work for me!! I don't know what I am doing wrong! :( the letters wont lift on the transfer paper.
This was very helpful!
Watching this in 2021 and have found the tips to be super helpful! TFS!
Thank you for these helpful tips; I will be putting these ideas to the test!🦋

Hats off to you Kayla! I’m a new cricuter and I have been YouTubing like crazy. I especially love your videos. You make it so easy! I subscribed and rang the bell and liked. What else can I do?
Thank you! This saved my project!
Mind blowing! Where were you a couple days ago when I was struggling.
Yes! Thank you!
Thanks for the help. P.S. Italian seasoning goes great on pizza!
Thank you so much, this is a fantastic idea. I am going to give this a try.

Omgggg thank you
I couldn’t figure out why it was ripping thank you so much
I tried the washi tape 😊
Thanks for this tip!! Was just struggling with tiny pieces lol
Kayla, any recommendations on cutting tiny fonts with the Maker? My blade is new, and I have had no success with smaller fonts. What settings do you use? I am using oracal 651
Try washi tape setting. Works best for me x
@@somaya1212 when I go to materials, I get a message that washi tape is incompatible with my Maker... Any ideas on that?
@@micheleorrson4036 Ahh I've got the explore air 2 so im not sure if its different for the maker x
This just saved me so much time and headache and probably vinyl!!!
1,000th thumbs up! Nice job 👍
Thank you!
Great tips thank you
Thank you!!! I’ve wasted many of my vinyl scraps wish I RUclips this sooner!
Hello! Was wondering if there is a similar trick for HTV?! Still learning but I have wasted a lot of material and time trying and trying for the tiny stuff and haven’t had much luck. Sometimes I have pieced things together and it has worked once it’s actually ironed on but it’s hard on my eyes! Lol. Thanks for any help! You have great tips!
thank you for this video. I wish I had seen this before I did my lettering..I had problem of looking part of letter. I improvised to fix it. lol th again
thank you very much how would you do it on very tiny letters like a scripture'
How do you take out the centre of the text example for the letter a so it doesn’t need to be weeded. The letters you showed are still large what about smaller letters when people are creating heat transfer washing neck labels for children t shirts
Hi . Do you have experience with weeding of printed vinyls? .need some help with that
What vinyl type is this?
Can these jars be washed...will the letters come off?
Can i use washi tape setting for cutting aluminum foil?
What font did you use. I like how skinny it is. Tfs!
Julie Tillman hi! It’s actually called the skinny! :) I got it off of dafont.com
Appropriately named. 😂 thank you!
Do the tiny letters peel up after time?
Hi I’m new to your channel I was wondering if you have a video of how to get started and basically a beginners video
Leeandra arguelles hi! I actually don’t have a specific video on getting started with the cricut but I would like to get one posted soon! I do have a cricut design space playlist
ruclips.net/p/PL3dzJwXFL3uIi_fVALSlEVeRRGWvMrCl5.
Hopefully some of those could be helpful! :) thanks!
Thank you I’ll watch them
Leeandra arguelles, Cricut has a youtube channel with great getting started videos, enjoy!
hi im having trouble with my machine cutting small letters! HELP
Helpful video 🌸
Does this work with iron on?!
Hi! You wouldn't need to do this with iron on because it stays attached to a carrier sheet, you don't need to add transfer tape. I hope that helps!
How do you organize your spices?
Jacy Martin sorry for the late response! I bought a little 3 Tier step organizer from bed bath and beyond and I found spice containers off of amazon that I put my spices in and added vinyl to it. ❤️
I don't see a washi tape setting on my Cricut explore 2
You have to search for it
