I play disc golf but this really helped me understand the concept of rotation rather than sliding with your hips. This guys form is absolutely out of this world.
I threw shot put in high school and college and looking at that hip rotation and the post is EXACTLY what our coaches would be looking for at the end of our throw during the release phase of the shot. Awesome body mechanics man.
Awesome brother ! And I say brother because we are both in the " Brotherhood " of long drivers. I'm 54 & when I was 35 I was crushing 350-370 knocking it over the nets & getting kicked out of ranges .

I'm a Golden Tee guy. So when I say holly crap to the numbers these guys are putting up, that means something. If you don't know what Golden Tee is it's a video golf game that allows for semi-unrealistic shots so these guys are hitting those numbers and even deeper at times. Plus I love how Kyle is all technique and maximizing his flexibility for longevity instead of brute force. Keep it up and I love the televised breakdowns and what you were thinking. good content!
Awesome Kyle!!. I just started really working on my face angle and wrist hinge. I was hitting 255 and thinking that was all I had. I'm swinging for the fences every day now at about 36 holes in a simulator, I now increased my ball speed from the low 90s to 115mph. 337 total carry. I like how you really explain everything going on... All good stuff 👍...
That one tip you gave is so so key about how your leading leg dose not slide and its rotation. So many get that wrong. If you go to any range and look at guys particularly and some women, so many do the slide with the lower legs. It creates havoc. Also a key cause of duck hooks. Controlled power is what you got. Just as in the old perelli commercial... Power is nothing without control.
Went alongside the road to the left after the event and gathered around 20 or so Volviks. Finally got around to playing them on the course. Such a great ball to play.
@@manusills5191 if hockey does a skill competition, it’s considered hockey. It’s a portion of the sport, therefore it is golf. Same as Putt putt is golf, just mini golf.
I have the honour and privilege of playing with an ex competition long driver South African born Nathaniel Barnes. Whilst I am deemed to be a big hitter at my local I watch on in awe at the horsepower this man posseses off of the teebox and around the fairways. At times it has inspired me to tee it high and let it fly with no holds barred in a competition round. Without any training or professional coaching I max out around the 400 meter mark, don't know what that is in yards, which is good for a 7 handicap hack I reckon
Always surprised at the softer flex when running these longer driver shafts. Tempo has to be perfectly in sync with the shaft or the ball might go anywhere
Definitely want more of these, so rare to get to hear a master talk their way through their top performances
