This now creates a modern and safe road infrastructure from South African major ports to Zimbia. Bypassing the poor infrastructure in Zimbabwe. This is a big blow to Zimbabwe and this means that Zambia can now fully push back on in its big disagreements with the current repressive government of Zimbabwe. Well done Zambia for creating such infrastructure.

I saw a report on CNN which said the bridge was designed so that a single gauge railway track will be built down the middle of the bridge. The outer lanes of the bridge are for pedestrians.
It's not the first we have TaZa Ra Railway ( Tanzania Zambia Railway) as well as pipelines coming all the way from Tanzania supplying cruide oil,our only difficult neighbor is DRC not so good people..
