I did the same and I'm still blown away. That's a helluva magic trick! Steve, you can play these awesome factoids on your channel with more flair if you put your heart into it. 2 million people would gasp at your last point if you present it with panache!

man, I dunno why you went for the "not smooth" moniker.
that was just about as slick as you can get...
(and you appear to have added a further 50 subs since last I noticed.kudos!)

Hey cool video. It's interesting how the tilted street grid changes the colloquial meaning of north. Montreal is even weirder, where "north" is more like west-north-west.
Can you please balance the audio in future videos? The on-location shots are really quiet and the transition music is very loud.

I'll see what I can do. They don't sound too far off to me but I think I can make some adjustments that will help.

The St. Clair line used to loop at Mt. Pleasant, several 100 metres east of the station. So it was the most northern line until the 90's

And if you go farther back the streetcar lines used to go farther north in lots of places, including up Yonge Street. But times change 🙂

Wait, show us the map of why Main Street is north of St. Clair! I need a map to believe this!
