Last time I made a variation of this I took the leftovers and turned it into a Southwestern style soup. Add some broth, maybe some tomato sauce and some chicken and you have a heart and delish soup.

These types of salads are also super common in the south of Europe! They are super yummy but we use more tomato instead of bell peppers!

My mom would make this but add pearl couscous and then serve it with some grilled chicken or fish and a lime on the side.

You absolutely could pulse peppers and onions in food processor, just large rough chop prior to processing to ensure even chopping.

This dish needs that one press dicing chopping thingy. The chopper that’s similar to the Julian slicer but it has the checkerboard design for dicing.

ouch, that is expensive. I make a version that includes cilantro but no avocado , mango, olives which costs me about $12 per batch. Pretty reasonable for about 7 cup yield. It's so fresh & delicious I often say I could go on a cowboy caviar diet & eat this 3x per day!

We eat cowboy caviar in the south/Midwest and it’s so bomb!!! I prefer the black eyed peas and it’s supposed to be pretty tangy.

That’s a LOT of sugar for a salad… But it’s a great inspirational recipe for a simple salad when you don’t know what to cook, I’ll save it for then. (It would also be incredibly easy to make a child-friendly version for my kids who don’t/can’t eat half of the ingredients 😅)

Or roast the peppers in the oven (and peel them), they're much easier to digest that way. Or just stir-fry them for a couple of minutes :)

I'm sorry, I love YOUR videos, but copying somebody else's recipe is Disaster waiting to happen...that was enough "Caviar" to feed 8-9 people, personally I would have to serve this as a Side to a BBQ Steak and a Baked Potato...so this would actually be for 20-25 people . I personally have tried 50+ RUclips "Recipes" that were AWEFUL, they left out something , their MATH was wrong, etc. When was the last time you saw a "RUclips Chef" say that the taste test ,if they even do one, was BLAH, Bad or too Salty? NEVER.
