    I know how this WORKS lol.
    Dup the input signal, apply a narrow notch eq on the second, distort that how you choose. play the two inputs in parallel. Your output result is a plugin that enables you to apply a "controlled" distortion

    How is this different than Spectre? Because I may go with yours since your price is a lot lower.

      differences are subtle but many. Spectre has a different sat algo for each band. Spectre doesnt have a sat amount, just increases with the bands gain. Spectre has many more sat algos. Spectre doesnt have pre filters. Overall this seems more of a fuzzbox/sound design tool, Spectre more of a saturator/exciter for sutble mixing jobs. I love Spectre. Will give this one a miss
