Had a '03 C230K coupe ,, very similar to this car.. very nice car to daily until the electronics go to hell with age... 1.8l Kompressor motor leaks oil into the cam timing actuators and causes a $3,000 replacement of the wiring harness as the oil under pressure migrates to the ecu under the insulation of each wire... luckily it's a recall $0 fix... if you catch it before the oil migrates... then the actuator o rings are covered but not the $$$ harness and ecu. Need to check the oil level in the supercharger simply because of age..
I also had to replace the wiring harness to the tune of $2400, and I gave up trying to find the short in my non functioning power mirrors. Also replaced the rear tail light assemblies with after market. And, anotrher $2400 to rebuild the power roof...those do go bad after a while.
