Hi Ian, the exhaust sounds great, did you remove both of the original silencers and replace with just the motorcycle silencer ?

As I remember there was only one box at the time. It did not run across the back. Make sure you get one for at least a 1200cc

How do you get the swinging brackets at the back of the leav springs to face to the rear mine after refurbishing face forward

Do you mean the brackets that bolt to the body at the side of the fuel tank?

There should be 2drop plates one either side of the spring eye which then bolt either side of the mounting bracket
If bracket wrong way round unbolt and turn it

What did you do to lower the front or is that standard?

You can lower front either by putting spacers between the spring pan and the wishbone or by getting shorter springs
Remember the car will be lowered more than the spacer/difference in spring length as you are lowering approx halfway between wishbone mount and bottom of kingpin

If I’ve got this right
If the brackets are angled forward the springs must be longer in their resting state
Not sure it will make any difference
How does it handle?
