Really helpful and I followed your method last week on my Midget 1500 and despite 45 year old nuts and bolts covered in under seal, this worked for me. I'm now down to 'chrome' height and the car corners flatter and is much more balanced.
Out of interest, since the spring rate remains the same (the spring hasn't been changed) but the wheel clearance has been reduced, does lowering the car in this way mean that it's more likely your wheel will hit the top of the wheelarch under a heavy compression? I only ask because if you were lowering the car by fitting a shorter spring, you would normally also need it to be a stiffer one to reduce your suspension travel. I hope that question makes sense!
yes you are right the risk goes up. my springs were uprated to 400lb soon after. im currently running 500lb springs. unless your road are really bad though the difference wont be noticable
Hi, did you need to make any adjustments to the steering geometry after lowering? Also did you have any problems with the spring(s) binding on the opening in the wishbone?

Glad it helped. thanks for watching
Well made video simple to the point explanation and method, doing my car as soon as it stops raining ☹️
Glad it helped

yes a bit. Had to bang them out and then position them so they pop back in
Great job....
Cheers, thankyou for the support
