- Pokemon Legends Z-A was announced a couple of months ago, and I've actually never touched upon it once on the channel. Today I decided to change that, by giving you guys an unscripted discussion video about my hopes for the game, let's go!

While I completely agree with this video, I feel that it's still best to keep the expectations low. Because I have a feeling that it won't happen. But I hope I'm wrong.
I wish Game Freak will finally give us the origins of mega evolution.

For the difficultry settings one i would like to add that even if it wont likely happen, i would like to see expert mode which will be easier then a drayano rom hack but not by much
They're going to do one of two things. They are either going to make a mega stone that works for every Pokemon in order to reduce the size of the inventory that is displayed in your bag.
Or they're going to keep individual mega stones and make you have to do quests in order to get each mega stone.
Pokemon not from gen 6 should not get a mega. Gen 6 pokemon, imo, should be the only pokemon to get megas since the only one to get one was a limited time mythical in OrAs, where gen 6 wasn't even the focus. Pokemon like the starters, Florges, Aegislash would be most likely the candidates to get megas. However, I'd want them to use the less popular pokemon for the megas like Slurpuff, Aromatisse and Klefki
IMO Megas should be more reserved for those who were in XY but aren't very good in later/competitive use. Popularity is one thing but utility is another and even the most beloved Pokemon aren't very good and could use a buff like Mega Evo.
@@dnmstarsi look how little the gen 6 pokemon even got the spotlight in XY. No gen 6 pokemon got a mega, they couldn't even give a gen 6 pokemon a mega for the champion. The majority of new megas (if we even get any) should be given the gen 6, end of
@@maxd7577 Hard disagree especially when this is my opinion much like yours. Mega Evolution shouldn't be reserved to just one generation or the current one and some pokemon don't need Megas to be good especially in Gen 6 but there are others both in AND out of Gen 6 who need the buff more and are natives to Kalos which is what you might have missed from my previous comment. LOL
@@dnmstarsi Hard disagree with that myself. The only generation to not be favoured in megas overall like Gen 6 was Gen 5. Those were the only gens that got 1 mega: Audino and Diance. Those two if anything should take priority when considering new megas. Not gen 7, and especially not gen 8 because of the gmax forms they got and gen 9 considering how new they are. Gens 1 and 3 should not get any megas considering their favourtism and Hoenn getting a remake that gave a tone of gen 3 pokemon megas there. Gen 2 could use a few more maybe, a like 1 or 2 for gen 4. But gen 6 out of them all should get priority. Give the generation that brought in that gimmick some actual attention instead of fan-servicing it off to the same generation time and time again
@@maxd7577 Agree to disagree especially when you still completely missed my points about Mega Evolution priorities so let me make this clear: I prefer giving Mega Evolutions to Pokemon who NEED it to become better. Even good Pokemon that got Megas didn't get better so I want to avoid that for the potentially new Megas.
If your stats are low for fully evolved and maybe even has a solid move pool, you need to evolve. If you're popular but are garbage tier in the games, you need a Mega Evolution. Now I don't mind some pokemon from Gen 6 but IMO it's a terrible idea to focus giving Megas to just one generation especially when it's not really that generation anymore AND there's other Pokemon native to Kalos (another point you missed) that we can improve on.

I hope and pray this game will not take place in the future. Please, whatever else you do, do not set this game in the future. That is the most bleak, boring and uncreative setting you can think of, don't do it.
