First of all Sheldon, tell me what were the grounds for Connie's arrest? Did the police 🚔 search the premises? Did they have a warrant? Why was Connie stopped ✋️ at the sidewalk?

i love the fact that both vincent "the chin" gigante and connie were involoved in a criminal enterprise and both would've used the exceuse of being mentally unstable and unfit to stand trial
I guessed right - it was the cop who rated Connie out. Still wonder why, maybe because of the roulette wheel making a lot more money, he came by th shake Connie down for more money and she kind of blew him off

That Dirty Cop Rutledge probably ratted Connie out to get a promotion or something because it sorta makes sense! An the 10% Deal to get his share of the money and even he demanded more I would think back mid Season 6 I’m surprised Connie didn’t rat him out to his station.
Most likely the feds were already on to him so nor to get a better deal than Connie, he ratted her out along with other associates that he had under his belt who knows what other illegal activities this cop was tied to in this town alone
For his campaign he can say he rooted out crime and shut it down.
I would suppose that the cop got caught in some other corrupt activity and was offering up MeeMaw as his way of getting a deal.
The fact the cops knew and let her pay them off should change things, this is so ridiculous

No, they are used to launder the money made from the gambling room so they will be taken away as well
@@TheCoopersVideos like I said, she could tell that, they first are doing business to laundromat and video store first, then gambling room afterwards. So, nothing to launder the money to these two stores since they're capable to function without gambling room's help.
Also the lawyer is too young, they should hire the older one.
They can argue (and probably show) that they were fronts to hide the gambling, laundered the cash FROM gambling and that the gambling room subsidized the losses of the other two.
Connie's idea of flipping on the cop is better. Catching a dirty cop looks much better thsn jailing a grandmother.

I don't understand. In TBBT adult Sheldon said that he started to knock thrice because of what he saw In his dad's bedroom. And here he already started knocking three times.

So it was officer Jake Rutledge who turned Meemaw in? This doesn't make sense. Meemaw was paying him off in order to raise the money for his sheriff campaign. He also didn't arrest her because Dale was his friend. What made him decide to change his mind after all that?
Also, why does Meemaw care so much about loosing the video store and the laundromat? She only ran those businesses to run the gambling room behind everyone's back. Otherwise, she hated running both of them.
Maybe Rutledge got enough money and thought the arrest would help with the campaign. Connie also made honest money with the laundromat and video store and could continue to do so or sell them as assetts. Texans are big on religion, maybe the guilt was getting to him. Or maybe people who knew about the gambling room wanted it to be gone and that's how it would reflect on his campaign. More arrests = more votes for sherif
Just because she hated it, doesn't mean she hated money. Also cop like him could sniff what other cops do, probably they found out or probably Connie attracting too much attention, so he might as well as joining cops so he won't get fired.

Is it me or has Sheldon become nicer? It would make sense if this was an alternate universe version of the big bang theory. I mean some things that happened in this show differs from what Sheldon said happened in the Big Bang Theory.
The more likely explanation is that Georges death causes Sheldon to spiral
The death of a man’s father (George was better than Mary as a parent) can change someone for worse or for better. Mary manipulated him into thinking he’s some big shot flawless human being and this was because of her terrible parenting

I haven’t watched season seven yet, though since Sheldon is knocking 3 times does that mean he already walked in on his father having an affair? He had mentioned in Big Bang that the reason he began knocking 3 times was due to that specific incident.
He also mentioned he was 13 when this happened and it’s been confirmed Sheldon is 14 in this clip which is also the age he was when his father had passed away
- Nevermind, just saw the clip of Mary dressed as some blonde which Sheldon clearly believed it was another woman. As much as I’m relived, Sheldon did make it seem like it was truly something that somewhat traumatized him, & Big Bang also made it seem like he actually cheated. Not only Sheldon, but the people he told this story to genuinely believe that he cheated which kinda sucks. Idk why they did this whole thing with Brenda honestly they really made it seem that was gonna lead up to him cheating on Mary with her. It was just a really weird unnecessary side plot. Sure they are unhappy in their marriage but making it seem like George was gonna cheat, as well as Mary with Pastor Rob as just a ridiculous thing if it wasn’t actually going to go anywhere. Could be wrong though cause I still have yet to watch season 7 but still.

Likely he is already in legal trouble and that is why he ratted her out. It is probably part of his own plea deal to reveal any criminal enterprises he was being paid protection money by or any bribes he took during his time as Sheriff. Cops are usually desperate to stay out of prison for obvious reasons.
That three knock is not accurate. Sheldon developed that behaviour as an adult
No, he developed it after he caught his dad cheating on his mom. In TBBT, Sheldon told Penny why he knocks 3 times. Young Sheldon retconned the cheating storyline by making Mary be "the other woman" during a role-playing session with George. However, Sheldon didn't know that was his mom due to the costume, how quickly he closed the door & the fact that George died fairly soon after & so he never learned the truth.
Well if it worked for Joe Biden it can work for Meemaw.

Not in traffic court, or when Priya proved his roommate agreement wouldn't be valid in a court of law. If you are talking about insanity defense, yes, it sometimes does work.
Usually not. It does exist, but take in mind that even people who are schizophrenic won't always be able to make it. There's no mental illness that explicitly makes you insane.

I haven't watched this show in years, did George have the affair yet? If not why is Sheldon knocking 3 times? I still remember him telling Penny the why of the 3 knocks: 1 to announce his presence and the other 2 for the people to put clothes on.
George has not had an affair but Sheldon walked in on his parents in their bedroom. His mother was wearing a traditional Germanfest costume and a blond wig. Sheldon thought it was another woman and started the three knock thing. It became a habit and part of his OCD since he continued the practice even after the person on the other side of the door opened it before he completed the knocking ritual.
What no one mentions is that Sheldon walked into his parents bedroom without knocking. He didn't think boundaries pertained to him.

There is too much pandering to Sheldon. Now, he's an unlicensed lawyer. Or thinks he is.
As an adult he also thinks he's better than the real medical doctors.
This is the most unrealistic and ridiculous story line in either series. there is no way he would be allowed to take the bar exam.
There are some states where you can take the bar without having gone to law school. Texas does require it but maybe that wasn't the case in the 80's.

Inherently the actor playing him isn't that smart .
Hence many lines seemed forced and as though someone parroted formulas before an exam.

Sheldon is like Hermione Granger - they can only quote the text book response - they are both UNABLE to rewrite the information in a different way to show that they understand it. Regurgitating the textbook is NOT learning!! sheldon and hermione both have book smarts. Missy has street smarts and Georgie has money smarts.
