The thing that truly sticks out for me about this scene is ALTHOUGH he is imagining different alternate realities where Sheldon can say something before his dad leaves, it’s ALWAYS after you hear what his dads last words were to the family. “See y’all later” were his final words and they LITERALLY echo in each dream. Knowing he was saying goodbye, his way anyways, with everybody else just brushing him off is truly disheartening.
