It's not a scam, its a bribe. we did something similar at Sam's club. They make so much money selling timeshares they can afford to bait people to come listen in hopes that some will bite and buy one. Now the quality of the places you stay is another conversation lol
My family used to do the Wisconsin dells timeshare thing when I was growing up cuz my dad was good at saying no. It's legit on the price and stay but that 90min meeting can end up being 2-3 hours and they will hound you the entire trip trying to sell you on the time share. If you can deal with that then it's worth it MOST of the time lol.

FOR ONE HOUR OR LESS. of your time (no signup ever required) just saying you’ll see the meeting, companies usually pay for your trip or more. I had upgraded rooms (more like house) any show any dinner room service etc. 100$ for three or four days to do whatever???? Timeshare meetings are so worth it BUT the timeshare is NOT. scam the scammers!!
I did the timeshare thing… yea u gotta sit through the silly presentation which can be 2 to 4 hours. If u finish it you do get the whole vacation trip ..me my friends use to sit through 1 hour business presentations just for free food at the hotels. 😂.. whole thing is so boring tho .
yup they dont care about vacation you could probably convince them to give the vacation for almost free they just want to manipulate you or earn it back in some other way

It's legit my dad did this type of thing to get a new appliance for the house. You just have to endure the boring presentation for an hour or two.
