Made chito his punching bag for 25 straight minutes.talking about distance management and footwork, Masterclass from O'Malley.
omallys leg and arm are literaly in casted from defense chito fucked sean up

@@nameless8684 You mean 232 times? 🤣 I looked at the stats.
That's what happens when you don't fight the #1 contender and you callout the #5 which should really be a #8
Literally dominated Chito for 5 straight rounds winning a dominant unanimous decision, and these reporters are asking about a possible trilogy?! Idiots
The only way Marlan would ever even stand *half-a-chance* in hell of beatin’ Sean, would be if he CHEATo’d VERAy much
For real that first fight was a miracle
@@justonejlking Now people are waking up to this fact, it’s good to see
Listen kid. He as a world championnchallenged the number 5😂😂😂😂😂😂. And even that number 5 ko'd him in the tth round. He just got saved by the bell. Sean was ko if the round laated 5sec longer.
All of this against a number 5 as a champ. How does he not deserve a rematch?😂
Chito did knock him out in the 1st and had a bad camp. Trilogy is a possibility
Sean’s record before Chito 2: 17-1, Sean’s record after Chito 2: 18-0
Sean is stripped of the title for ducking Merab the #1 contender and refusing to call him out. Merab is now the lineal champ, official loss for O'malley using your logic.

Low key wanted Chito to win. But after that ass whoopin. Nothing but respect for Sean.
Exactly
You don’t have to be low key about it bro
High key but man Sean showed up.
I love Sean but I wouldn't have been bummed either.

Ew gross
Who give him belt? (In islam voice)
Nah Islam has a deeper voice than that
Everybody doubt Sean every fight and then he comes in and gets it done and people still got shit to say, give the man his respect dawg
i think if he woulda got the knockout like dustin there wouldn’t be questions like that even tho he put on a masterclass
wtf are you talking about? Sean was a massive favorite going into this fight
I think most people favoured Sean in this fight. The question is how he does against someone that can grapple like Merab. Sean handpicked Chito because he knew he could beat him, even though there are at least 3 guys in the division more deserving of a shot.
@@stephenhughes5156 He fought Aljo to get the belt. We saw him against that style. Only difference between them is Merab is on every "supplement" known to man. Also he picked him because he wanted to prove it was a fluke loss and because it was the biggest money fight in the division. Vera was getting more cheers than Sean. Merab doesn't have a fanbase. He's not going to bring a single penny to the PPV. As a matter of fact, people hate his style so much they probably won't buy the PPV because of his name.
@@stephenhughes5156dude.. he fought aljo… He basically stuffed every takedown. He also held his own against yan. Obviously his ground game is better than people give him credit for
The way Sean set up that knee was incredible👏🏻
Yeah i think a lot of people missed that. He kept throwing body shots and chito kept dipping his head to shell up. Then he threw a few faints to be sure. And I literally told my brother “he’s setting him up for the knee”… And then BOOM
He was looking for it in the first round too… you could tell that Sean made the read… every time O’Malley fainted, chito would shell up and love himself open for the uppercut. It was absolutely perfect my god
The 5 round masterclass was better than a quick KO imo
Absolutely. He proved he could go 5 rounds and still be on point. Best performance yet
This is why the UFC pushes him so hard. His style produces entertaining fights. Then they go and push Dagestani guys who make the worst fights. I don't get it, but at least they invested in Sean. He will provide entertainment for years to come. He's probably the most entertaining striker in the new era. I'd put him up there with Volk, Poirier, and Gaethje.
We've seen Chito get beaten over 5 rounds, we've never seen him get knocked out.
Sean O’Malley’s BEST FIGHT YET🥇💪🫡

I know Merab should be next, but O'Malley vs. Sandhagen is RIGHT THERE.
Yup
Honestly Corey might be one of his toughest fights yet
Cory would be super tough but I see Sean winning a kind of close decision. Sean is faster and we now know he has the cardio to keep up the pace through 5.
EXACTLY
They both move and switch up so much it would be an amazing performance
This is why Sean is the man yo. He does not lie the fact that he was honest about him. Taking that body shot that right there. That mentally right there shows you why he's successful. He doesn't lie to himself.

Dude literally said his first fight with Vera was a fluke and he still undefeated. Initially i believed Sean was winning all the way to that point but He doesn't understand that nerve damage was caused by chito Vera kick therefore he lost by the better fighter that night common sense dude is egoistic and delusional. He's not charismatic and he shows up looking like a clown. I still think Petr yan got robbed too sean is one of the greatest pro mma fighters but not as unbeatable as he thinks he is
It was a freak injury, not a legit win, anyone with eyes could see that.

He make all South America look bad definitely earned it 👍🏽
Here comes the bandwagoners who were hating on Sean all week. Love him and chito but world class performance by Sean
He picked one of the few that wouldn't give him trouble. There's many fighters that could give him a hard time at bantamweight that he hasn't faced yet. Moving to featherweight would be the wrong move. Merab, Cory, Deiveson Figueiredo. It'd be a conor move. It might be fun but it taints your legacy a bit.
Beating a one dimensional Chito coming off a loss....wow
@@DyingBreed8he picked the only guy who even had a chance, by a miracle TKO 😂
I came to say that I still hate him.
His personality still stinks. Arrogance always shines through. You are a fickle fool if a good performance changes your opinion of him.
Man, he did good.. His boxing is just killer
No more slander he is the best bantamweight in the world and on his way to best ever
I think when he puts merab’s lights out, it will be safe to say he’s the best bantamweight of all time. He’s already beaten 3 top 5 bw fighters, which is the best weight class in the ufc

props to sean and i dont want to take anything away from him but the division is so staked that he wont be able to turn everyone into a punching bag
Big respect for O’ Malley
Chito is like a Neanderthal with how durable he is.
Looks like one too
Now everyone understands why Sean felt the way he did about their first fight. People really didn't understand how rare and lucky it is to hit someone's peroneal nerve. Chito hit his nerve with his toe which shows that the nerve wasn't even where he was aiming because you don't try and land kicks with your toes. Glad Sean was able to prove he's much better than Chito like he's been saying for years.
Super nice work by Sean, really a great performance. Totally ran over Chito like a truck, then a tank and finally a train.. Chito must have the best chin ever, he went into zombie mode and took brutal force and a jumpknee straight in the face sounded like a metal baseball bat smesh.
Sean was fighting like Cell from DBZ 🔥 just looking untouchable the speed was impeccable
O'Malley a solid dude. Told the truth about the body shot at the end of the 5th round. Most would've denied that being the reason they appeared hurt or tired. Congrats champ!
Dustin owned the show last night, should of been main event.
Nah
Sean: "it's not as easy as throwing a leg kick and you're gonna land it"
Alex Pereira: CHAMA 🗿
Sean, O’Malley you’re a great fighter great athlete but you thinking you can take the 145 champ on is so ridiculous. Why don’t you defend the belt a couple times
Yeah it doesn't make sense at all. You have to be a certain type of fighter to fight in a heavier weight class. I am thinking durable and just fighting by heart. Suga is an artist that is built like a tooth pick. He is not THAT type of a fighter.
Sean put on a great performance tonight and kept going for all 5 rounds right until the end. I can’t see him getting past Marab but will be good to test him. I feel like that fight plays out like Charles vs Islam where Marab will finish him in 2. Looking forward to seeing it
You never know, don't forget what they said about Suga facing Aljamain and we saw what happened. I don't really want to see Merab trying to hump his leg for 5 rounds either.
Shawn needs to fight merab and toporia needs that first title defence
If Marab strikes Sean will take it, if he grapples then he’s got a very good chance
Merab has 17 wins...13 by decision. He will wall and stall his way to a decision if anything.
i expected more from Chito, but now we all can see how Suga grew up as fighter and no Merab not anyone can do s.h.i.t. to Suga rn in bantamweight.
Now I know why Adesanya held the belt for so long. Sean has that Adesanya toolkit & employed it to perfection. All that said, Chito didn't earn this title shot & Sandhagen predicted it perfectly.
Sean uses the image to fool us into overlooking his cerabral and acuity of the fight game and life out of it. He's played the game perfectly and even the Ilia call out seemed sound. No misteps in his game, no hyperbole. Just skills.
Suga boutta roll up to the club in a pink wheelchair
I know Ilia vs Suga is a fantastic match but you have to give the next shot to Merab. Merab deserves a title shot after win against petr, Henry, Marlon, Aldo.
MERAB IS BORING
never understood how idiots were clowning him for not accepting the chito loss. if i lost like that i wouldnt have accepted it either..in fighting accidents can happen and to lose like sean did it wouldnt sit right with almost any body.
Because he lost? Lmao what? He got his leg compromised and got tkod from elbows. That isn’t an accident. It’s a loss. Kattar, Rakic, Conor, and countless others have lost in similar ways. I’m a Suga fan myself but there’s no other way to put it. He avenged it greatly tonight tho no doubt.
@@robtothejuice that loss is like jon jones loss to mat hamill. circumstances dont mean one guy got beat...nobody gives a fuk about what it says on paper, we still consider jones undefeated.
@@phantomdancer3279brotha that’s an entirely different scenario lmao that was a DQ from illegal elbows. (Which I think is a stupid rule personally too btw) apples and oranges. Chitos kick compromised his leg and finished him on the ground. Perfectly legal and legitimate win. That’s not a fluke it’s just an unfortunate ending. Sean proved he’s much better tonight anyways so what’s it really matter?
@@phantomdancer3279 People land lucky shots and win fights they shouldn't basically every card. Doesn't matter. Still counts.
@@Jake-bt3fc that counts because the intention is to knock the other dude out.u think chitos intention was that if he lands that kick, he is going to cause some wierd nerve damage that will cripple sean from fighting the rest of the fight? hell nah..its not a legitimate win in my eyes.
People who think that Cory destroys Sean are so wrong. Sean has reached another level in striking.
Elite striker
I want to see O'Malley vs Adesanya at some point
Give him Merab!
Best striker in the business officially avenged his bs loss
Superb performance but O'Malley's days are numbered. Every fighter and every coach saw that if you get on the inside he's vulnerable to damage. Doesn't seem like O'Malley's long slender frame is very durable. The very few times Vera got on the inside and connected, O'Malley seemed to be quite affected by the shots... and the body shot at the very end seemed to hurt o'malley. I'm not hating on O'Malley. Just pointing out an observation.
no shit! you think they dont know this. problem is trying to get inside without getting slip countered. the constant switch of stance is to set up the open side counter. its his money shot. he dropped chito with it in the fight. hes well aware of his flaw and counters it well
@@MrAlan287 obviously it's easier said than done but I don't recall O'Malley being in this position before where he clearly dominated the fight from beginning at the end but at the same time got pretty roughed up from only several exchanges that benefited the opponent. Being long and skinny in itself isn't an obvious weakness. People like Max Holloway proved that. Max Holloway is long and slender but can also take a fucking beating. Perhaps I'm undervaluing the damage that Vera did during those few exchanges and peraps O'Malley can take a beating... but based on what I saw last night, the recipe to beat O'Malley might have revealed itself. Time will tell.
Like I said, I'm not hating on O'Malley and I wish him a long and prosperous career. He's a talented individual and has earned everything he has attained.
This is pretty dumb ngl
The haters are slowly turning into fans.. as soon as Sean slips, they will jump off the bandwagon.. smh
What a performance. Respect to O’Malley
These interviewers keep asking the same damn questions
Whers literally everyone that said Chito was going to dominate sean?????
Wtf??? People were saying chito was going to dominate????? I didn't see a single person say that
Masterclass performance and win by Suga Sean 👏👏👏
LOL PEOPLE REALLY THOUGHT CHITO WOULD WIN LMAOOOOOO FLUKE CHITO
People really thought Dustin was getting ko’d too.
They thought he was gonna kick out his legs lol
It wasn't a fluke. In a fight every punch/kick is thrown with the intention of hurting your opponent. Chito did just that. Also, sean wasn't as good as he is right now in their first fight. They both improved a lot but Sean's striking, footwork, and speed is just on another level now.
This dude man hahaha. I can honestly say I’ve never seen someone strike like O’Malley. Most exciting striker and the most skilled in the ufc by far
i didn’t know islam was there at 7 minutes in asking questions 😂😂 legit sounded exactly like him
No one wants Merab to be champion. Keep him away from the belt. Western strikers are the most exciting fighters 🙌🏽
Suga vs El Matador has to be next potential to be one of the biggest fights in history
I can see el matador winning that fight. He won't back down and walk backward like chito was doing when sean strikes. Ilia will stay in the pocket and trade with him. I think that will make a huge difference if they fight
On one hand I like the O’Malley reign and don’t want Merab to end it. On the other hand, it feels weird to intentionally avoid the toughest fight.
How the fuck do the interviewers ask the same question as the person prior sometimes?
It was Sean O’Malley vs Marlon Moutinho
Sean O'malley is the TRUTH
Bro had Chito looking like khris mutinho

Yeah he gotta fight Merab or Ilia
Topuria is a hella dangerous fight for O'Malley. If he can get it done with Merab, he would certainly be deserving.
happy for sean. been under some fire but what matters is that he's a pretty damn good fighter
Chito looked like a liveleak body at the end of the match. Talking about the liver shot at the end which he didn’t even fall down from. Talking about running out of time. The only thing left if another minute was given is chito getting finished
There is no other way to say it, he shut him down, Chito could not move, as @vemps said, a masterclass.
Nobody gives a shit about trilogy with Chito.
Suga straight dominated Chito for 5 straight rounds, SOOOOO WHY would there be a 3rd Fight, no need Suga finished this rivalry Hands Down
And chito knocked his lights out… like, if he goes on a good run there will definitely be a 3rd one
@@mauricethiolloy5795nah first fight was fluke while 2nd was a clinic. He would need like 4 wins to get shot again
@@Ziggyvu there’s no fluke in sports, you either win or lose, and he lost BADLY, chito also lost BADLY so a trilogy definitely gonna happen down the line
Merab and Sandhagen should be next and then Lilia if he’s still champion
If Sean is smart then Sean should probably take an injury break and let Merab and Cory fight for the Interim Belt and fight the winner. It's better for his career because the division is so tough he has so many tough fights coming up and we can imagine it's hard to keep urself at that level all the time.
The knee, fuck, how did he not fall.
