When the Japanese band came through the look on the staff's faces were like "We really did all those baracades for two fans?"
They let everyone know only 2 came 🤭🤣
Imagine how the band felt 😣😞
🤣
LOL 😆🤣😂 only 2 fans!!! Oh my goodness.
4.01 It makes me remember my school days 'nod' as OK sir /mam 😂😇
Other staff had to deal with so much bs from passengers and there is Ashraf happily working with plants. What a boss.
Oi. At least inside got aircon. Outside is like melting sia
Early this year i got stuck in changi because i forgot my old passport that has EU visa which must be paire with Taiwan visa... The ground staff is really helpful to arrange another flight later so my old passport can be carried by my friend that also going there at night flight from my home country. Had to wait for almost full day on changi but the matter was settled for like 30 minutes for confirmation with the Taiwan partners. Got a whole day to explore all the terminal which is quite interesting and unique experience
This makes me sad thinking some of these amazing customer service and other airport staff have probably lost their jobs due to COVID. The Airport is not hosting even half the capacity of flights as it used to. Less demand, less business for Changi. Who knows how many were laid off. So sad.
Ya Man..
Hope everything will be back to normal again.
Having experienced travelling to other countries. In Changi airport , you seriously feel safer.
We will fly again.
Sadly we don't know how well the news strain of Covid will impact things. Lots of people don't even wanna take the vaccine. So it will be like this till next year.
more sad all the dead.
2 million people in one area hell yeah spread some good corona chan
Ashraf and his plant kingdom is so freakin wholesome. “Look at my big ol green wall. What more could a gardener ask for?” SO WHOLESOOOME 😭🥺❤️
been to singapore so many times. the greatest airport indeed. glad to see so many happy endings in this beautiful airport.
aww hopefully you can come back here again soon :)
The entire airport is a happy ending
Hopefully you can come back when Covid ends:)
I just love how respectful they are to other cultures. Why can’t the world be like that. I literally started crying when I saw the pilgrims praying. We all hope and pray for peace 💙
Pray is nothing without act/being active
Yes.
You got a lovely soul.
@@frofrofrofro900 you are one of those who spread negativity. Shame on you
They are praying to false gods. Real God begot a son and the sons name is jesus. Accept jesus he is the only way to heaven. All their false sun and moon gods will not give eternal life. Jesus is the only way
The whole video gives a feel good kind of feeling. Positive vibes all around. Issues sorted out with the least fuss... Unlike some other Airports that takes every issue as a terrorist or immigrant threat. Changi sure is the best airport. Kudos to all working there and its Board.
Unbelievable this people So kind and thoughtful to others. God bless them All.!!!
Unbelievable this people So kind and thoughtful to others. God bless them All.!!!
They are all very calm there
Ha... Have you visited there on multiple occasions? They are really uptight, even when you provide evidence of whatever they requested... I have lived and worked there! This video is just a promo movie! Singapore's customs officers are known to be the rudest/hardest to deal with, even to people who have valid documents… This is crazy considering they claim that S'pore is a tourist destination.
The police within S'pore is surprisingly polite and well-trained.
@@cvader7 there’s reason for everything(if you’re not cooperative)otherwise why do they called it one of safest country?
No wonder this is the best airport in the world, I have never seen such lovely customer service in any other place.
That kid asking for a playground was so cute
That Ashraf guy has the best job. Designing plant horticultural stuff and get paid to do it!!
Love the amazing, respectful and neutral coverage on hajj pilgrim send off that many in their lives would not encounter or witness.
No wonder, Changi is the Best Airport in the world. This is truly a superb world class quality airport. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's amazing how much effort the airport staff try to help people.
That officer who helped find their sister and informed the authorises about the pregnant women. He won my respect 🙏
Mine too. I am very impressed.
Sad that other officers dont win your heart. They helped people too.
I did that once, at the airport in Sao Paolo, Brazil. After vacationing there with friends, I checked in to the Varig Airlines and waited for the flight. I had forgotten to pack my pocket knife, a Gerber Chameleon, 1st Run Edition, into my checked luggage. It was inside my fanny pack. Noting that this was in 2004, after the World Trade Center towers fell and airports in general were more strict with carry-on items, I ended up giving the knife away to my Brazilian friend as a parting gift. I sorely missed that knife. Lo and behold, by serendipity, I came across the same model knife, albeit latter generation and slightly used, found at a campsite a couple of years ago. Man, that's profoundly lucky.
Wow I've never been this early for a documentary video! If you are reading this, you will have a good day tommorow
Why not today?lol
Bad Day: Knife discovered in your hand luggage. Worse Day: Durian discovered in your hand luggage.
Thats the WORST that could happen😫
🤮
This comment is so underrated
Only in Singapore
bad day: bomb in your bag in the mrt
worse day: durian in the bus
Singapore airport staff has also transformed in terms of cultural diversity. What an amazing effort on the part of the Singapore government. Singapore continue to go from strength to strength. Thank you for upholding excellence. I will always remember the time I travelled with my 10month old son and a ground manager even carried my luggage to help me through to the plane; or the star treatment accorded to my 85year old mother all the way to our destination. COVID halted everything but We Hope to visit again soon 💕💕💕 🇸🇬 🇸🇬🇸🇬
No masks - during normal times we all miss - anyway, Changi staff is first rate and the people of Singapore are especially proud of their Airport and its very well deserved first class reputation - the staff and management's attitude and sensitivity towards different cultures, races, and religions is fantastic ...
I went to the staff canteen in 2019. I think I like HK airport a little better, however this is incredible too.
I don’t miss not wearing mask, I miss being able to travel freely.
@@kaiyin3842 same 😭 I rather continue to wear masks but at least be able to travel overseas
Isnt airport stuff?
I had a BaD experience there with a Rude Staff not helpful at all.
Lmao the Alice 9 Group be like : *"we didnt tell anyone we were coming"*
can we give the bird guy some sort of award

i saw one the other day, they said covid, but the captions were Kovid.
Almost 3 years after, and Changi regained its name being the best airport in the world! 💜
Cant get over how friendly the staff are like everybody working in that airport has a heart of gold imagine that guy who tried to check in without a boarding pass did the same thing-
in America he would have been thrown on the ground and placed in cuffs .
I always had a good experience passing through Changi. I agree it is the best airport.
What a great helpful airport staff. I hope other airports are taking note of how great Singapore airport operates. May I say that I pray for each and everyone of you wonderful airport workers.
The cleanest and awesome airport I ever had.
How civilized & compassionate these people are - so different from the reactive staffs in Heathrow or NYC !
I love the staff at Heathrow. NYC, not so much.
When is the next episode coming out? This is such a great series 👍🏻👍🏻
I really like watching these documentaries thanks for making them spark!
*The Agent: Do you speak Bangladesh, right? The Pax: Yes, as long as you speak Singapore, I speak Bangladesh.*
Time stamp?
The guy who lost her sister definitely indonesian
100% sure, considering how the dad looked like he was about to throw hands
Because they speak bahasa
Yes, I heard that orange tee guy mumbling in Javanese
yup.. they speak english with the javanese accent.. "medok"
"Pakai kereta.. pakai kereta.."
👍
Singapore airport, Dubai airport, and SFO are definitely my favorite airports that I’ve been to
I love Changi airport and their staffs.
Great infrastructure. But what makes Changi best in the world is the people working there. Hope we overcome this pandemic and all of them can go back to do their excellent jobs.
The Ashraf guy has the best job, funny guy
Nicholas Chung I would watch a whole series following Ashraf and his work or daily life haha

Miss this place S’pore very much where I used to work there for 4 years 💙
From experience, I can say Changi has great service. One of my favorite airports.
They sure do go out of their way to help passengers speaking from experience I just flew their today very nice airport staff.
I could spend my vacation at Changi Airport so beautiful & the staff wow amazing 😍
All international airports should learn from Singapore Changi Airport on how to manage and treat passengers at the terminals.
The one with the flight attendant and the guy with the ukulele reminds me of this Flight Attendant named Maryann I think she worked for Pan Am or American Airlines she was so nice and when I traveled again I got to see her again.. Lol I was younger but I never forgot how sweet she was to me 🥰❤
I miss driving in Singapore, use to drive around the runway parameter and watch or eyeball the planes taking off. Also driving along to airport approach as you drive underneath the aircraft “bypass” and watch the planes crossing above you as you drive under to go to arrivals.
Good lord these employees are great. Wow.
Idk why but I love these airport videos so much!
Airports are like their own cities, so much happening.
Im so proud of our airport
happy to see those who go through the hajj i can see their happiness may their god bless them
I know right! I’m also always so excited at the change of being trampled by a horde of people!
The guy with the birds was sweet sound like he cared alot and wanted to fix the problem I hope they we're able to find answers about the birds
I’ve been to that airport. They don’t play around. Still the best airport in my eyes
I’ve stopped at Changi Airport back in September 2015 from Sydney heading to Vietnam. It was the very first time travelling abroad. I arrived in Singapore at 3am from Sydney and I had to wait 8 hours for my connecting flight to Vietnam to meet my wife.
Changi Airport is a beautiful place and the airport staffs are very nice and helpful. Such wonderful memories and it sucks now due to 3rd wave Covid. I’d definitely would recommend Singapore to anyone.
"Your once in a lifetime trip is about to leave!"
"Eh, no rush...."
In regards to birds near airports and birdstrikes, I applaud Changi Airport for their initiatives to discourage birds nesting and perching near runways.
In the greater Seattle airports of SeaTac and Paine Field, there are security guards who drive around the airfields, and have rifles to shoot at birds to scare them, also they will shoot the birds dead if necessary to prevent birdstrikes. Sea gulls and smaller birds of prey like falcons and hawks are the main culprits.
Looks like Changi is a great place for a stop over. Should plan all future flights through there 😂
You should! Though if you'd like to visit the new Jewel complex (opened in 2019), you'd have to exit Immigrations as Jewel is not part of the transit area.
Absolutely! I lived in Singapore for 2 years and used Changi around 100 times. Never any problems, always efficient and clean and always great service.
Of course it is!
THANK YOU 'SPARK'. IT IS WONDERFUL TO SEE HOW OTHER COUNTRIES INTERACT.
I’ve been to Singapore several times already. I have a travel vlog uploaded on my channel just recently when we went to SG 10 years ago. Oh how I miss Singapore! 🥰🥰
OMFG, those people are taking the most important travel in their life which is hugely important to them and also a huge privilege.
And those bastards can't be bothered to show up in time!? The mind boggles.
I'm not even suprised LOL. Usually at airports in my country we use flags and we yell at them so they'll be quick. I'm kinda surprised they didn't yell, but it's probably for the sake of the video or not, I'm not sure :)
@@febbykamila1301 That's cause not everyone is the same. Nothing to be surprised at.
It's not that easy when hints are so busy. They're all humans too.
@@febbykamila1301 nope in Singapore they only yell when its to call out to a big group they usually never yell
what bastards
I have been through Changi about 10 times and I still love it.
Oh my goodness what a BEAUTIFUL place😍
Amazing how accommodating the people that work at Singapore “Changing” airport. Great people
CHANGI AIRPORT STAFFS ARE GOOD MODEL TO OTHER COUNTRIES AIRPORT ..WITH EFFICIENT SERVICE.
Hats off to the staff and their professionalism ❤
Great people. Very helpful staff. Thank you.
Wow Impressive place and staff. love the plants 🌱 🪴
This uncle superb customers service remember me to the young officer in KLIA named Hafiz. Amazing kindness and humour too!!
I'm always amazed how people in other countries speak English well. in the US there is no official language, yet people get angry at others speaking in other languages.
The language of administration in Singapore is English :) It's our official language so pretty much everyone speaks it
Effects of colonialism
@@lost_poet_ It's the lack of native language. India was colonised too, Indians don't speak English quite as well as the Singaporeans but the person in India on average speaks 5 native languages.
I’ve never really wanted to go to Singapore but I do now, just for the the airport✈️
Oh how I miss my backpacking time.... Hope 1-2 years ahead things resume.
Some of those jobs are like cat-herding! Very challenging! Gotta love 'em!
What a great country and great people
Nina 🥰. What an amazing person great at her job. Really nice airport too
man in the cap going to manila does not know how lucky he is to have such amazing staff
Wow the bird distress call is good to know
This airport staff is fantastic! Miss Changi Airport.
France should send ALL their airport staff and many others in customer service to this airport for intense training since they have the worst customer service in the world. They will learn a lot!
Agree!
Brother bird is trying so hard to not sound like a malay guy in a void deck smoking😂😂
Brother bird 😂😂😂
the worst part is when he's trying to explain the aircraft's engine
I could agreed with he’s trying hard with that fake accent but what’s with the “Malay guy in a void deck smoking” ? What is that got to do with it? Chinese don’t smoke under void decks? Indians don’t?
@@MrNavarros dude its a joke plus he is malay if its an indian right there in the video i would have said indian in a void deck smoking bruh...
I wish American airports were as friendly as this. We all get mad the minute there’s a complication. Makes it hard for airport staff to do their job. People over there seem to take it more into their stride. They don’t demand perfection.
This is the best airport I have ever been in
Shout out to Singapore from Norway ❤
For me Changi Airport is always the BEST,been there a few time. My next trip will be through Singapore, forget Hong Kong.....
GREAT AIRPORT ON THIS EARTH.PEOPLE ARE DOING GREAT JOBS.
The distress calls at 16:08 sound like the Nintendo duck hunting game 🤣🤣🤣 good way to scare them off actually lol
hahahaha!
Changi should implement more tones like the Mario song
13:30...While I'm certain her tears can partially be attributed to her joy, I got another feeling when she spoke about "hoping for blessings" as she truly broke down.
I would wager that a good amount of these pilgrims have given a very large sum to whoever is organizing this trip. And the cynical side of my mind thinks they may have been VERY overcharged. An elderly religious person would do everything they could to see through a major belief, and many others would take advantage of that fact.
In my country, it's regulated and everyone knows the cost even Christians know
I just love Singapore and they airport is the best
Amazing service
I love the airport life. This show makes me want to return. Out of DSM😌

28:30 I used to live outside of Pekanbaru. It's not a tourist town. Not sure why a group from Bangladesh would be going there. But if there's a problem they can take the ferry from Singapore to Batam and a domestic Indonesia flight from Batam to Pekanbaru.
This reminds me very much of Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport which I’ve travelled through at least 60 times……the biggest single room building in the world!
I... I can't remember what I was doing but it was like 5 videos ago. I don't know where this came from but I'm all for it!
I Love Singapore 🇸🇬 I landed at Changi Airport 5 times in my life! I have relatives living in Singapore, the Lion City… Many countries should learn from Singapore… In this Metropole lives the National citizen with different religions Muslim, Hindu Catholic Buddies but respect each other religions! Service par excellence indeed.
just forward to 35:33 to see the main topic.. alamak.. made me watch so long then comes to the topic that i want to know.
My mother and I were traveling with a group to the same destination. At the gate an elderly lady pulls out a wicked looking knife and cutting board, I’m horrified and ask how did you get past security with that? She responds easy no one stopped me.
What I can't understand is how so many people book flights without making sure they have a ticket for every leg.
Or return tickets
@@havenprice if you are referring to the Manila guy..Philippines has an odd rule..if you want to move there or you do not know when you will be returning and want to buy your return in the Philippines..you still must have an onward ticket..alot of expats just buy a one way cheap ticket like MNL to MFM or TPE..some are under $50USD and throw the ticket away when they arrive..
Same trick is done when your passport requires you to leave i.e. US passport is good for 30 days in the PI ..so after 30 days expats will buy a round trip MNL to MFM spend the night and return which gives them another 30 days...
I had made reservations ahead of time using my husband's airline points. In Orlando they would only give me a ticket to Atlanta. They gave me tickets and boarding passes for connecting flights to Berlin Germany. Coming home I had the same problem. I could get my ticket from Berlin to Paris to JFK airport then had to get my tickets and boarding passes to get back to Orlando. Fortunately I bad made multiple copies of my airline confirmations. It wasn't my fault and it was stressful and annoying. Personnel at every airport were kind and helpful.
What a beautiful airport 😍
There's always an American or a Brit who somehow doesn't have a ticket/money and wants help getting to an exotic place...lol smh
😄😄😄😄
I remember leaving SFO with a TSA approve scissor, no issues. Upon arriving in Hong Kong for my transfer, they did another search and when they found the scissor they yelled at me, telling next time leave it at home.
TSA is not a global entity. Each country has their own guidelines/rules that you must comply with.
Scissors? I think the guy just wanted an excuse to yell at someone.
The biggest problem is often that those people are insecure. Stand your ground.
I for example always travel with my mini pocket knife (3.5cm blade. Basically allowed everywhere) I lost one because the security guy could not be bothered to read his own rules or ask a superior. Not a huge loss.
Follow the rules of the country you are going to. America and TSA don't own the world
@@ronc9413 One would assume that these entities would work with one another to come to some kind of agreement on what is acceptable on flights. I know better now and avoid bringing items that may cause issue during security checks.
@@PB-hr3hy No where did I imply that they did. I simply went by TSA, the airline (Cathay Pacific) and my destination Philippines. All of which said it would be okay.
