I have 2 pairs and have had no issues. Been using for 10 months the one pair straight still comfortable. HVAC service technician and wear them 50 hours plus weekly. Maybe I got lucky with my pair but I have 0 complaints up to this point.
Just a quick note on the insoles. The flat, light gray insole is a spacer, not a stand alone. If you have a narrow foot, the spacer goes in under the insole. If you have a wider foot and need more volume, discard the spacer.
I’ve worked as a government contractor building and servicing military equipment for the last 10 year and I have gone through boots like crazy but I’ve been really interested in the Brunt Toe Marin but we climb on tanks outside in all types of weather and stepping in oil is very common so I’ll maybe try a different Brunt boot.
I have , for about 3 months, EVERY TIME i seem them spamming on my FB I shit on them a bit. Their website clamed they are oil resistant and that is 100% incorrect. they ARE super comfy BUT the boots are made in china the leather softens when wet and when wet they do from brown to black..and the outer souls are GLUED on and that low tread on the boot is about 2mm thick and the glue comes undone in oil and coolant ... THEY ARE COMFY .. if you wanna look like you work hard and wanna go on a date... or work a desk job.
Made in china for sure. Glued on and dual density outsoles with one layer literally being foam is a huge deal for me. Once you run through that first layer that second layer will just wear down fast. Walking on concrete my outsole wears out fast and these would be destroyed in about a month or 2. I would only recommend 4 Moc toe boots and that’s thorogoods, red wings, whites and nicks. In that order. Red wings you have to get heritage boots though or you will run into the same problem as these
Thanks for the video man, enjoyed it. The boots are meant to be used with both insoles for a regular fit and just the thicker insole for wide feet. I prefer both in mine!
Bought a pair for my kid and they didn't show up. They'll take your money but apparently not any calls, just automated crap that can't get the problem solved.
Reviews are too mixed for me to chance the money. I’ll stick with my redwings. They’re expensive. $280 but the pair I’m on now is almost 6yrs old. That’s $46 a year. With only the toe on the right boot worn through. Same insole and outer sole. Even the laces lasted 3 yrs before needing to be replaced. Stick with what works.
I stopped wearing these boots after 3 months, here is why. ruclips.net/video/pQbsOpypzLE/видео.html

how they feel on warm day when you on the roof? is the sole gets hot?

Exactly, you can actually read it below the orange bar line

The new next generation says its oil slip, and heat resistant
@@chrisabella624 they are still garbage glued on boots. That aren’t really meant for work
@@395glenthey finally dropped some welted made in the usa boots and now I kinda wanna try them out.
Love the onest review
He's a salesman. Not honest. Not a real tech.

Good tip! Thanks for watching!
Good morning, could you please tell me how much they weigh?

I'm waiting for them to send the right size nothing yet
We finally got the boots, but absolutely no nothing as far as customer service. Will not be buying from them again.
Are they true to size or bigger? I usually go down a half size in boots.
You should get a pair of Drew’s logger boots
I have seen in another video that the insoles go together. I don't know if that is correct.

on the website they claim oil/slip resistant
I've read a lot of reviews in which people are agreeing with you as far as being slippery.
The new gen boots from Brunt fixed this issue, they are great now.
My Brunts Are Great..I work Sanitation and it gets shittie
I believe they have upgraded their soles to be slip resistant.
They did, I have some videos on the new models and they are actually great now.
True to size?
Yes!
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOT. They have zero customer service and I’m starting to think they have a staff of zero.
Best boot I’ve ever worn
@Revisionzlol these boots are Chinese. Cheaper for a reason. Heavy use they'd be destroyed within 3 months
I really want to get them , i usually get thorogoods or Georgia boots , I’ve been seeing great reviews , just sucks I can’t try them on anywhere
Georgia boots are wayyyyy better than brunt’s. My brunt’s didn’t last 7 months my georgias are going on 3 years.
Don’t waste your time, they’re terrible boots. Literally any name brand boot will beat these things.
Hate the fact they’re Chinese made.
So glad I went with some wolverines 🔥 man these boots are comfy
My feet got wet after a week of wearing them. Stay away.
Absolute garbage boots. F rating with the B.B.B.
