      To fix the problem with supply in Bulgaria in the naval landing I think you could just click on the danish straits for example and making it so that trading routes will never pass through it then they will be needed to go through Sevastopol or whatever the case may be to get to Bulgaria.

    • @joshmakescontent
      @joshmakescontent 2 года назад +2

      I'm not bitt3rsteel, but I'm working on a more comprehensive guide right now. Here's the TL;DR: 9/1 is cost effective for both offense and defense, you can make that the only division in your army and beat the AI. Testing has shown that there is little offensive performance difference between 7/2, 8/2, 9/1, 9/2, and 9/3. 9/1 is the most cost effective of the bunch and the only one that is also a top tier defensive division. 15/4 is good if you just want to line them up and hit "go" on a battle plan, but are a pain in the ass to micro with the supply system. Testing has shown that 6/1 is hot garbage compared to 9/1, so don't use it. 5/0 is actually the best on the offense by a significant margin, but it's expensive and not great at holding. I use 5/0 for special forces and 9/1 for normal infantry. Put logistics on everything, and use support rocket artillery instead of signal, especially on superior firepower. Testing has shown that the extra artillery is superior to signal, even on large divisions.
      Tanks are cost effective again with the 1.11.5 patch, and I've had a lot of success with 21w 5/4/1 medium/motor/motor artillery divisions. 3/4/2 tank divisions are also viable on a budget, I tend to use those for lights in the early game but it's hard to get their armor at the right level on anything heavier. Tanks pair well with 9/1, you can rush a supply hub with your tanks and exploit your enemy's poor supply penalty with the 9/1 for quick gains. I tend to do that if I don't see a good opportunity for an encirclement. I do not recommend using tank divisions larger than 30w because they run into supply problems. Small tank divisions can spread out after a breakthrough to take advantage of local supply and still have the stats to beat whatever divisions the AI responds with. Bonus points if you have 100 or so transport planes on air supply, in 1.11.4 I was able to keep twelve encircled 30w late game tank divisions supplied for several months before making a breakout.
      Targeting isn't heavily biased towards large divisions anymore (which is what made them good before NSB), so big divisions vs small divisions is really just personal preference in SP. One 42w division is cheaper and takes fewer losses than two 21w divisions, but those two 21w will win faster, spread out more efficiently as a front expands, and run into fewer supply problems. I prefer to stick with the smaller divisions, but again that's preference. Radar tech does benefit large divisions, but testing has shown that it's not actually that impactful. I recommend just putting that research into rocket artillery once you have radar 1 unlocked.

    hey bitt3rsteel, I conducted alot of tests as to see which of the main combat widths is best. I organized the army of 1.5 million (no support companies, no cas, no generals for control) to attack the soviets. 27 widths are by far the best in terms of resource management and land gain.
    The 27 division i used was a 12 inf, 1 artillery.
