The way Batman just immediately spawns in front of them at the end 😂
Batman how’d you get here, wasn’t the joker robbing a bank across town
Can you make a jupiter men comic dub
& immediately lays down the law: "NO! YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL!"
You are one to talk batman man you learned under a evil cult.
@@LCBKBatman: I was there, but my parent sense was tingling, I had the feeling that Robin was thinking about abandoning school, so I left the Joker to Nightwing and Red Hood, so I could take care of this.
I couldn't stop laughing when they brought this up because it's so true each and every Gotham villain was either a college graduate or very smart to do what they do
they got screwed over by people that were either devoid of compassion or just plain stupid
Killer Croc didn’t get to go to school. Solomon Grundy I don’t think went to school when he was Cyrus Gold, and Bane was in prison since he was born.
Someone commented on the webtoon that it’s the drive to complete those degrees that does it. People who have what it takes to devote themselves to getting a Ph.D. or graduate law school are just the type that would say, “I’ll show you! You’ll see! YOU’LL ALL SEE!!!”
@@raymondfisheriii791 Neither Grundy nor Croc are Bruce’s more intelligent rogues. They were always more hired thugs, if anything. And while it’s true that Bane grew up in the Santa Priscan gulag, he’s still a genius on par with Bruce, Joker, and most others you’d care to name.
@@coltonwilliams4153 The point of the comic was that school might be bad. I was simply giving examples of those who hadn’t gone to school, trying to prove that school itself wasn’t the problem. And yeah, Croc nor Grundy are that intelligent. That was the point I was making. Both were uneducated for the most part. It’s not that Grundy can’t learn, it’s that he dies so often he tends to completely reset. And as for Croc, due to his genetic disorder, he was ostracized all of his life. As for bringing up Bane, the point was still to show that he, while a genius, was mainly self educated, and never went to any formal school due to his circumstances.
Joker: Why do you think I rob banks, Batsy? Do you think it's to make a statement? To say I can I do it and get away with it? No! It's due to my crippling student loan debt!
He is afraid of the IRS after all.
@@lucaselias9824 The IRS knows ‘it’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message’.
Joker: The amount of money college sucks away from it's own youth only for them to hardly get the careers they signed up for so they're stuck in debt is crazier than me! You should be locking them up!
Knowing Joker, he got a degree in comedy or something.
@@MattNotFat "Chemistry with a minor in creative writing actually"
Lesson here is :In Gotham if Batman is not your daddy, you can be a doctor, a lawyer or something else but you are just a villain"🤣🤣🤣🤣
Considering half his kids either die or go villain or BOTH, I'm pretty sure that's more accurate than you think
Truth of the centurie
Mf I be scared a nuclear scientist graduated in gotham
To be fair…a lot of the villains in Gotham have suffered a lot of psychological and physical abuse in their younger days that was mostly done by their parents and peers. Having an education and becoming smart was probably the only positive outlet for them
yeah your think your right
@@JabamiLain ok
Dang Gotham, specifically Arkham is the cursed place. I mean most of Gotham villains basically mentally sick men wearing halloween costume (even the guy who dress like bat)
@@hafirenggayuda pretty much yeah
It's having proper education giving them great mind to commit great crime make them supervillain. If they dumb, they just third rate goons.
Love that they're acknowledging how dangerous degrees are! I bet Batman keeps an eye on everyone who graduates college in Gotham, just in case they become a villain!
Batman be like: Thom just drop out at of college because of the massive student deep GOOD i did hate to fight a electrician
Or a possible Wayne Enterprises employee.
@@lucaselias9824But see, that’s where Batman’s usual cautiousness had failed. For you see, due to struggling to pay off his debt, Zapman was born, robbing the banks and terrorizing the citizens of Gotham, with a vendetta to rewrite history (-class, as he wishes to change the unfulfilling, economically demanding education system)
Batman outta nowhere just to scold Damian, Perfect Bat Dad response
Batman having the ability to sense and teleport to any of his kids thinking of quitting school and/or college is canon. Not a superpower, just something he kinda does
I think it's more like Batman shadows Damian because, A. He's his son and, B. He doesn't want a repeat of Jason Todd.
...C. Damian is still a little too dangerous to completely leave unsupervised.
@@MrCrunchytime good option, but he definitely just appears wherever there's threat to education of his kids
His dad senses were tingling
@@ivansleepy4722 That actually reminds me...
D. Batman
He just asked Flash for a fee favors 😂
Meanwhile everyone forgets about Lucius Fox.
what about Lucius he's a genius but he's not a bad guy 🤔🤔🤔
@JabamiLain . . . . . Well, actually, if we take the sample size, they gave he'd be the exception not the rule. Not the other way around as you put it.
@@adarkwind4712 what do you mean
@@rayshawnwilliams5673 The pool of people given included all villains and a single non villain. So when judging the pool presented, as we all are, he's the outlier and therefore the exception.
@@adarkwind4712 you mean batman
Damian on the last panel 🥺! He’s so tiny and so adorable 🥰!
to give the perfect explanation to damien
School and education gave them the tools to succeed in life.
Life gave them the motivation to become villains.
This is what Batman probably said after all this
Bingo.
Thomas Elliot (aka Hush) was a surgeon
so was barton mathis (dollmaker)
Wasn't he always insane
I think the real problem is just the fact that in gotham is your either a vigilante, a criminal or a civilian that most probably is going to get stabbed
It's like back in the day, when they could make you an outlaw if you commited a crime, so outlaws would make a name for themselves, commiting as many horrible crimes as posible so people wouldn't dare do anything to them, now that the law no longer protected them.
People in Gotham become villains so normal criminals and other villains don't harm them, they only have to worry about Batman, who is not gonna kill them, unlike Joker and the rest.
💛🦇: Also, need I remind three of you that Bats put in a lot of studying before he put on the cape and cowl. HE COULD HAVE BEEN A DOCTOR FOR NINJAGO'S SAKE!!!😠
Well, Bruce and Harleen were in medical school together, but he Dropout Or given up, to be in a furry suit and fight crime because that is much more easier?
Still an example of someone who went to school and didn't become a super villian
🤩🤩🤩“ninja never quite“ a fellow fan I see❤😊
batman just spawned out of no where classic batman move fr 😂
Lesson of the day: Don’t go to college in Gotham
Or better yet just don't go to Gotham in general
@DeliciaDamaria Here's a joke
Batman: Hey, look is Mr. "I'm Superpowered But I Need Help With A Businessman".
Superman: Go to Hell, Bruce.
Batman: Considering how's my town, that dosen't sound like a bad idea.
Tim smirking at Damian response to Crane. He looks so so proud, almost vindicated.
The pouty expression on Robin's face is just priceless. That's one of the few times I see him look his age.
Love Harley's face in third to last panel. She knows that's completely wrong lesson to take from it, but she doesn't have a good argument on the fly.
Don’t forget Hugo Strange is a psychiatrist
right
Becoming a psychiatrist in Gotham generally seems like a shitty idea. Especially pursuing a "career" in Arkham Asylum later on.
@@Meiaiscool right
Before that Pr.Hugo Strange was a professor of psychology at Gotham State University, like PROFESSOR Jonathan Crane who was also a professor of psychology but at Gotham University not the state one
@@dr.ivorobotnik8910 ok
Tim might be on to something with college being the problem considering student debt alone could make someone turn to villainy
Just leave the americas, most Europeans that go to university don’t go bankrupt because of it😂😂😂😂
Batman at the end: "hears Damian say about not joining school" ..."batman has joined the chat" no Damians you gtg for school-
THIS IS SO FUNNY 😂😂
To be fair Man Bat isn’t actually evil, he just can’t control his actions and he was just trying to either fix his hearing or be like his hero.
“What if college really is the problem?”
As a college student I find that claim completely ridiculous.
At least Harleen got away from her Ex.
Joker was actually a brilliant chemist before he found out that he was dealt a bad hand.
@@JabamiLain you know she could be an eco-activist rather than an eco-terrorist.
@@Superlad9494that’s more dependent on adaptation (there is no canon joker backstory for a point ),
@@chimera9818 actually this one is a fixed point in how he came to be, how else do you explain where he gets the Laughing Gas? Joker's not the type to go ask Penguin for this stuff...those two can't stand each other, even when Penguin tries to see if they can work together sometimes...Joker would rather make it himself. Also technically everything is canon in prime Earth continuity in a roundabout way...don't ask...it's Hawkman "logic."
Joker's secret identity is unknown, but Joker having been a chemist before being a gangster is one of the defining moments since golden age Batman. The thing that made Joker go bananas? Lazarus resin was most likely in that vat at Ace...because only the Lazarus resin could do that.
@@chimera9818besides, Joker himself admits he never remembers his origin the same way twice in The Killing Joke, so he’s an unreliable narrator.
To be fair Victor Fries was trying to save his wife and was turned super villain by Francis Boyle not by his own choice. Harvey Dent did have some mental health issues, but he was seeking therapy to help heal, but when the mob disfigured him that broke his psyche and allowed his darker half to take over.
Batman I don't know where you came from but you know damn well Damian is not going to need at least 90% of what he learns at school.
I think it's less about the material and more about the social structure. Damian's going to school to learn how to be a kid. Bruce is essentially trying to undo Talia's conditioning.
the way batman came out of nowhere witch he does alot was funny
Moral of the story: PhDs (and the equivalent) will corrupt you.
Batman like i'd risk it
Injustice Batman: Not letting Damien skip was the second worst mistake you ever made.
That does raise a good point. All villains in Gotham have a degree in either medicine, science, or law. Heck, even Joker (depending on which universe) was once a chemist. How else do you explain his Joker toxin? You think someone can just Walter White their way into something like that?
It's more that you can't enter the big leagues, in either direction, without some sort of impressive invention or power. Filters the uneducated villains down to the sewers.
Joker identity always vague, from failure of comedian to mobster with penchant of chemical the writers just got along with it
Even Joker once said he doesn't know which one's correct but he likes having multiple choices. So either he's messing with people or he truly doesn't remember and just makes shit up.
@@nobodys_here07 trick question, he is both and writers wishy washy writing going stale especially with 3 jokers storyline that there were 3 individuals took joker name only to drop it next issue also it revealed Alfred protected joker wife and son in Alaska.
Yes I think the joke could Walter wire into it he’s smart and comic logic
Damian getting saved by his nemesis
dude I love dami spin off’s GIVE ME MORE DAMI SPIN OFF’S WEB TOON
Villains: our geniueses werent reconized so we decided to make society pay for their- *'lots of text'*
Joker: lol
So the moral of this episode is people in Gotham who go to school and don't go end up being evil.
In the other hand Damian is a villain already.
There's also Hush being a neurosurgeon. And wasn't Joker a chemist in one continuity?
HEY! Freeze isn't a bad guy! He's... well, he's in love.
Honestly, I agree. He’s one of the more sympathetic members of Batman’s rogues gallery, and it’s the reason why Heart of Ice is my favorite episode of BTAS. Before that, Freeze was just a generic mad scientist character, but that episode reinvented him into a more complex and occasionally sympathetic character. There are even some continuities where he reforms, like White Knight and the Season of Infamy DLC for Arkham Knight, which gave his character a perfect conclusion in that continuity.
Wow, so many doctors and scientists that became villains. It really does get you thinking.
And Batman showing up in the last minute Is hilarious.
It isn't collage, it is the student loans that are doing it.
Have they forgotten that Batman went to school and turn out successfully genius 😢
I thought he dropped out of college to study abroad.
…that’s not helping my case, is it
It still counts
@@davidmerillana611 yeah except he's not a bad guy
@@rayshawnwilliams5673 I’m just saying that he studied hard and put his time on helping people rather than wasting it being a villain
@@davidmerillana611 *insert obligatory Batman being insane joke here*
The greatest evil of all: college
Don't you just hate student loan debts?
It's honestly hearting to see harly vibe with the bat family, like shes a perticualer crazy aunt everyone loves
Okay one: I love that Harely voice 😊
Two:…You guys forgot Dr.Hugo. He’s a villain too
Three:…Huh, a lot of these villains were like really well off. I guess Joker was right.
All it takes is one bad day.
Or a little push.
It's PROFESSOR Hugo Strange
Bro became batdad
Does Gordon's daughter have a degree? She is a good example.
Yeah, Barbara has a PhD in either history or information science depending on the continuity
I mean she's a vigilante which isn't technically legal so she's kinda a criminal as well. It's just that the GCPD don't go after vigilantes as they're well respected and very helpful in taking out supervillains and reducing Gotham's crime rate
Literally though, I hated school, I was bullied, I struggled with my grades cuz of undiagnosed ADHD. I'm glad I'm no longer in it
Why doesn’t Harley and Crane sit and talk to the big brain villains and maybe ask Dent since he was a lawyer so he’d have the smarts to find evidence.
Perhaps if the big brain villains put their big brains together they can find the reason why they became evil and see if Batman can stop it to stop more big brain villains from popping up
Because most of Batman’s rouges gallery, outside of the mobsters, are clinically insane. They aren’t capable of recognizing the faults in their own logic that led them to where they are now.
Damian Wayne with a doctorate would be Gotham's biggest threat!
Batfamily lesson
Damian: Name one Gotham that was bettered by education.
Me: …The Waynes?
Also, the Villains became Villains because of several reasons. They were treated by their own family, some of them had obsessions with their certain characteristics, and they were physically changed to become villains, like Ivy, Freeze and Two-Face.
I don’t think School is the problem for them here.
Dont forgot Doctors Leslie Thompkins and Doctor Mathew Thorne, the Angel of Crime Alley and formerly the Crime Doctor. Both of whom workin the Thomas Wayne Memorial Free Clinic
“You truly believe you can best me?”
Famous last words.
The, spoiler and Red Robin is the Best duo is my favorite.
That's why Bruce was home schooled and then he traveled to study abroad.
That's how he's not a supervillain but a dark and gritty tough as nails vigilante.
Batgirl/Oracle Barbara Gordon is the only Gothamite I know of off of the top of my head that got anything good from a formal education.
Lil D strike again
In the defense of man bat and freez, they had no intention of being villains. Langstrum wanted to cure defense, and victor just wanted to cure his wife. They weren’t like ivy who already didn’t like people, or dent who was battling his own daemons.
Bro Damien at the end was like “Aww but daaaaaaad🥺” 😂😂😂
im just imagining one of the goons pretending to be out so they dont get battered any further and listening to this conversation as more and more of the batfamily shows up like whatthefuck+im so glad im on the floor right now
Bane was also big brain but he never go to school
Batman: "And I took that personally!"
The whole villain and education really got my brain going. Gotham truly is a dark place to be since even normal people are just horrible beings that hate things for no reasons and want to hurt things that they don’t understand, maybe the villains would’ve been great people and maybe heroes if the world and people of Gotham wasn’t so cruel.
I think they touched on this in Arkham city. If i remember correctly, the rediation from the Lazarus Pit powering Wonder City under Gotham caused mental issues for the people living there. When they built Gotham over it, the radiation didn't leave. It just seaped into Gotham, giving its residents violent tendencies and mental isues
Elementary school is a must high school is also a must college you decide that on your own
I like to think that Harley is the overprotective and fun loving half-sister to the batfam
"You truly think you can best me?"
*Gets jumped.*
I gonna hazard and say yes, they do think they can take you.
I’m pretty sure Croc never got an education. Not to mention all the goons.
Batman dropped out of med school. Wonder Woman was home schooled.
I guess knowledge is power, and with great power…
BAT-DAD HAS SPOKEN!!!
Typical parent spawning in to yell that you gotta go to school 😂
Batman sensed his kids energy and came grapple hooking
the education system is the true Villain!
Batdad strikes again
Dr. Leslie Thompkins.
This sounds like me when I was younger trying to debate and get out of going to school
Omgggg can't wait ❤❤❤
The attitudes and voices are so on point it amazing
Slang phrase in Thai means "Born to be, but get stucked by the birth control" 😊
We're nearing the end of WFA for now :')
Sad day
So is Harly just a good guy here it’s kinda funny
In fairness, nearly all of them went bonkers as a direct result of some horrible lab accident so their higher education wasn't entirely to blame.
Harley needs to meet more people.
Batman villains not being villains is always great
I really liked the movie i forget the name of where an alternate universe joker was a good guy but still insane
As a rogues gallery veteran herself, of course Harley is gonna immediately think of her villainous peers when asked to name a doctor; it’s not like she’s a frequent dinner guest of Dr Leslie Nelson (physician), Lucius Fox (has a business degree), or Jason Blood (assuming “demonologist” is a legitimate academic career in the DC verse) 😂
Jim Gordon? Lucius fox? Bruce wayne? DOCTOR Thomas wayne! Later sends him to Monastery.
Harley just trolling
Robin: but if all these doctor become supervillains why should I?
Batman: my father was a doctor
Besides the villains that were rich elites like Penguin. The only villain i can think of who wasnt nothing before batman's existence, but a criminal was Bane being he was born in the pit
It’s so stupid. Damian could have easily gotten free. They didn’t tie his legs and that’s a rookie mistake.
He wanted to wait for Steph and Tim to rescue him so he could scold them for taking so long and prove he's the best Robin.
@@dazzlethestar151 by getting captured?
@@rebekahwolkiewicz449 Lmao yeah (jk)
I mean they weren't evil after graduating it's just that the job that they eventually got made/turned them evil due to circumstances/curiosity/motivation/accident
Dang he really thought he'd get out of school that easily I mean we all know his dad wants him to get a higher education no matter what happened between the villains and their school but still Robin is a kid and he has to go to school just like Dick Grayson did
Look I'm sorry Robin but I don't mean to be a buzz kill but it's the truth
When i heard twerp, i had a scary thought, would even the joker be scared of vicky😂😂😂
I just laughed at batman showing up at the end after harley, Tim, damian and Stephanie mentioned all of the gotham villains who were a sort of doctor or scientist before turning evil.
Batman actually being a good father? Now I have seen everything.
How do they think all those people got the skills they needed to become those villains? Even Kiteman had to get a degree in order to make his suit.
Without the education, they would end up like Joker. Running around with knives and guns for little to no reason.
Love this Harley Quinn design btw
Damian would get along famously with Calvin and Hobbes.
Batman does have one of the most educated rogues gallery. Starting to wonder how bad the student loan situation is in Gotham.🤔
The Joker is more afraid of the IRS than anything else
All of these Villains attended High level schooling to achieve their expertise
And as far as we know, Batman never went to a public school. He was trained by a separate organization.
Conclusion: The government is turning people into Villains so they can take advantage of us during the chaos!
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!!!
ILLUMINATI!!! (explodes)
To be fair Batman became one of the greatest superheroes of all time by learning from the greatest detectives, martial artist, scientists, and escape artists from around the world. So education is quite important if you want to be a superhero.
Batman would be better off homeschooling him.
I love this series SO MUCH!! I'm so excited what will happen next!!
