Great follow-up video. I need to associate costs with issues to see if this kit makes good dollar sense. My takeaway from the video is that one should just purchase an Axial kit. Always appreciative of your thoughts and recommendations 👍
We are loving our Enduro, thanks for update s. We used carbon kite rods running insides of the top right and left sides of bed all the way to the front grill, shoe goo them in. To support the bed dropping. Also did what you recommend to. It Really helps.
Great video. Applicable to the TrailWalker too, apart from the thin Lexan and obtrusive bumpers, which AE addressed. I'm wondering if reports of problems with the drivetrain have reached your ears. Those driveshaft angles are steep compared to the competition. Cheers...
Try changing the motor polarity to the esc now forward is too sensitive. Then adjust with your dual rate. This method worked well with my barrage2 in getting a better forward start up. Too vent the tires cut two 1/8” holes in the center of the tire 180* apart from each other. I’ve done this on five sets and never tore a tire even proline g8 compound. If you vent the wheels to close the vents just cover hole with gray silicone. Most these mods are standard. Great video

Gen7 is cheap but is really not at the same level. It won't turn and it hangs up with huge axles. Gen8 is good but is hindered by a weak drivetrain. Check our channel as we've produced 20+ videos about it.
Can you tell me more about the front bumper? I just brought this truck and like the look of that bumper. I've only run it once and have already had issues with the bumper. Thanks
Francis you should do battle the sendero and gen 8 against each other. Trx-4 sport being the overall winner for now, removing it from the equation could be a fun alternative 😁
Hi how are you? I wanted to ask you a question. I understand that they are the ones who know, I bought an element enduro Kit, and I want to put a 35t engine on it, I would like to know, which pinion I would have to place to have the best performance. Thanks a lot
Was excited about this release, but not into RTR's. Slider kit version seems a bit overpriced, and it's a bit messed up how they sell 'hard parts' separately, over 100 bucks for the lot. Already built the axial cherokee kit, and the trx4 sport kit. The pre-built PACK is a miss for me. Maybe GOM next? Might just wait for the next kit to be released from whoever. Trx4 sport kit was the most satisfying build, if traxxas ever makes a new straight axle kit with a new body they would already have my money.
My Gatekeeper just quit working I suspect the Reciever quit. It still makes a beep noise when I plug the battery in. No light on the receiver but lights on the ESc.
You don't have to replace your esc. To fix the reverse being to sensitive is adjust your throttle forward till you hear your motor singing then back it off just a touch then your forward will be more responsive and your reverse will be more shuttle. Still running my stock esc on 3s just fine no sensitive reverse. Happy crawling everyone.
Excellent Review. I agree with everything you stated.......But “kind of jerky” the reverse, it is a pain in the ass and has to be replaced. Truth be told...with Reedy on their side I have to ask, why are they shipping them out like this. Traxxas and Axial are so smooth in forward and reverse. Love the vids. Keep up the good work.
My enduro sendero after two runs the front diff.locked up,then it started to move but both front wheels wobbled with a loud noise and metal shaving coming out of the front diff (Taking it back to the shop I purchased it from as it is less then one week old,and I don't what to avoid any warranty) Disappointed so far with this product
You stated that scx10-2 upgrade parts also fit on this rig.,do you know if one of the Aluminum scx10-2 motor/skid plates would work? I have a Trailwalker but already changed to a Comanche body with Axial body post. Some axial bumpers and Hyrax 1.9 tires. I swapped the motors leads and changed the setting on the controller. It’s not a complete fit but it helps.
I do have to note about #4... On REAL Trucks, the Chassis flexes MORE than that! 😉 We're going for Scale realism, right? OK, for non Scale, total performance, you have a good point. Other Tips - VALUABLE!! Good as always. Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Replace the stock servo if you do alot of rock crawling on larger rocks The servo is fine for trailing and some rock crawling use. "If installing an aftermarket bumper" Take off the rear bumper and install it on the front (flipped) for a better approach angle 😆👍 Tire lug modification Cut the stock tire treads for amazing traction in all weather! Cut every other lug on both sides - 👍 I used small diagonal wire cutters
Disappointed after buying the Kit version that I had to buy another $80-90 of the "hard" plastic parts to replace flexy ones. Hoping 3rd party companies come out with improved parts soon. Thinking that my next kit purchase will start with a "V" and end with an "h". ;)
:) version 1.0 of the Element RC for sure. Hope they fix that in later releases. The first Vanquish was not quite dialed with the $900 price and sharp bumpers and bendy chassis. But this new Pro model is version 2.0 with $750 price, awesome bumpers and tuned details. We're intrigued.
This is much better. Low CG and overdrive gears help. The tires are better too here. The unimog has a very short wheelbase so it can't quite get the front wheel over some steep perches.
Can't argue with the man hardly. I will say once i started chunking up the lugs on my unimogs stock tires they got way, way more grip. I love them now. I put some metal bead locks on mine, aluminum sliders, lower CG battery tray and servo relocation mount along with a 1300mah 3s gensace pack it makes a completely different rig. Battery now sits flat and centered. Also sits lower than the motor now. Body is heavy, mine is over a pound fully built. That's most of your higher CG alone is in the body.
@@RCReviewChannel is that a challenge 😂😂😂. Im super busy at work dout I have it done to soon. Excitment always helps tho. I am heading home soon and its already delivered in my box. ✌✌👊👊
