Here it is. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't really uploaded any full vid in a long, long time. The reason is mostly my thesis - it sucks me dry to the point I neither have energy nor inspiration to vid.
But this one... I HAD to vid Jily. I HAD to vid Counting Paths. It was a really long and demanding process but I finally finished.
As you can see I fell for Sophie as Lily, she undeniably is perfect! I just cannot wait for more content with her. Yall can thank Alyssa (darknessinside) for this perfect fancast!
I have also experimented with Peter fancast again, I cannot seem to find my perfect fit. Let me know what do you think!
I would like to thank and dedicate this vid to Zoé, who have waited patiently and was (often with priceless help) there during this looong loooong creation process.
AS TO THE STORY!
I tried to follow important moments of James and Lily's lifes but also didn't want to repeat every scene from other amazing vids.
You can see some Hogwarts moments, beginings of their love and their struggles during war. I added also parts about their other relationships, especially Lily's, because I see them as a big part of their story.

James and Lilly were perfect for each other, I don't understand why some people really hate James because of his past as a bully. He wasn't racist like Draco, he was a spoilt person but a good one who really changed his attitude when he fell in love with Lilly and had a child to fight for.

@MD Akhjar He clearly was a bully. What he did to Snape was not butting heads, it was a group of people (the marauders) attacking and humiliating one boy. They were going to forcibly take off his underpants, that's basically sexual harassment. Even if he and Snape were rivals and Snape regularly got him back, that was bullying. Sirius and Remus even said he went around cursing other people for fun.
But people can change, and James clearly grew up, unlike Snape or Sirius who never really grew out of their adolescence.

James and Lily are just perfect together. I so regret that Rowling gave them and other marauders too little time. The story of their life would be no less amazing than Harry's is. And still all we have is fan videos. I mean, this particular video is gorgeous, but I would pay so much to know a bit more about that times!
I must say, although Karen Gillan will always be my favourite choice for Lily, this video of yours is AMAZING!! The quotes, the manips that are so uniques (I've never seen anything like that on any of the other Jily/marauders videos)... its just bloody perfect! Favourited for ever!!!

Phenomenal. This was the best Jily vid I've ever seen. Just perfect casting, and filled with so much emotion. I loved the friendships between all the marauders and Lily, and I am always such a wreck each time I see Jily's deaths, and Sirius' reaction. Thanks for ripping out my heart. Stunning x

They can still act together, but in other movie/TV show. I agree with you and honestly hope they will act together as a couple someday, even though this video is all manips, they still have chemestry.

Hi! I'm looking for a place to download Albert Nobbs Aaron Johnson media , specifically clips I can use for Jily. I've tried downloading ones before, but they were in the wrong size for my editing service. (I use Sony Vegas Pro 17) I already had started editing with Nowhere Boy, and that movie was the perfect size. If I added Albert Nobbs, and tried to get rid of the black bars there, I ended up getting black bars on the Nowhere Boy scenes. Could anybody tell me where to get Albert Nobbs clips for editing in 1,280p 720p outwith torrenting? (Honestly, I'm just trying to find clips safely. Is there a twitter or tumbr site I should go on? Where do you get your clips?) I'm scared to torrent because of the worry of contracting a virus on my computer. I'm sorry for the long comment, but I'm a new editor, and all these google searching is taking a toll on me. Thank you so much!

Sadly there isn't such series. I edited many movies and tv shows to make it look like this :) Maybe one day we will get Marauders show!

Hi, your video is pretty well done but I prefer Karen Gillian as Lily Evans instead of Sophie Skelton, first because I can't imagine the lovely Lily with this actress that has also Brown eyes instead of the green dark eyes that Karen has.
Instead I picture Sophie as good replace for Ginny, because come on, she fits Ginny more than Bonnie Wright; that's just my opinion.
Also for Pettigrew why don't you use Brett Kelly for him, you can see the Pettigrew hide inside him...
I understand :) For me Karen doesn't have this vibe that I myself imagine for my vision of Lily Evans. Sophie, on the other hand, perfectly fits with it. But sure, everyone has different vision!
As to Peter, I don't know this actor but googled him and I am not sure about it. I don't think that Peter supposed to be plump in his youth but I may not remember some descriptions from the books :) I would need to see him act to decide.
