    This clear, simple process is so helpful because SEO seems tedious to me. Design is the fun stuff, but SEO is crucial on Etsy, so I'll learn how to do it well and quickly by following your advice. Thanks as always!

    Hi Cassiy! Could you make a video explaining how to offer different text (bride, mother of the bride, brides maid, etc) from Printing to Etsy? I loved your video teaching the white and black t-shirts in the same listing. Thank you.😉

    • @CassiyJohnson

      Hi Virginia! Sorry if it wasn't clear in that video, ruclips.net/video/t18osdsmJKM/видео.html Go to this mark in the video a rewatch the part that teaches you how to make family/custom listings and this will show you how! Here is a quick breakdown
      1. Make a custom listing starting on Etsy with all of the options you want to offer
      2. Add each custom design to printify and save as a draft instead of adding to Etsy
      3. Copy and paste each of the sku numbers from those custom shirts into the boxes in your Etsy listing for each variation
      Or
      1. Make custom listing on Etsy
      2. Wait until you get an order for the shirts, then add each of the custom designs to Printify and save as a draft
      3. Go to your "Other Orders" tab and select which shirts you need fulfilled for that order.
      Hope that helps!

    Hi Cassiy! What do you do when your title phrase contains giant works and is too long to fit in a single tag? For example, "Nashville Bachelorette Party Shirt". Do you split the phrase up and enter them as separate tags, one being "Nashville" the other being "Bachelorette" and another being "Party Shirt"? As a follow-up question, is it important that the title match the tags exactly word for word and in the same order? I seem to remember the Life Hacker Couple saying so, but wanting to confirm. Thank you so much.

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  2 года назад +3

      Great questions, yes just split the main keywords you want to use into separate tags if you need too, that still works fine! And yes you want to match the most important keywords from the title into your tags but you don't have to do it all exactly the same. The tags are a great place to try to niche down your SEO and think of other search terms to try to come up in!

    Cassiy, I am looking for a curved or wavey font and I can’t find one on creative fabrica, do you have any recommendations? Thanks 💖

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  2 года назад +1

      No I don't so sorry, the way people make the curvy and waved fonts is by manipulating them within design software, I have seen people do this on canva by typing out half of the word or saying, and then curving it up, then typing out the second half and curving it down (Using the cnava effects tool to curve text) and then putting them next to each other to look like a wave!
      Maybe I'll make a tutorial in the future but I'd try that or look for tutorials on how to do it if you are interested in the wavy text!

    Hi Cassiy! Love your channel and the content you share. I just started on Etsy and was interested in your shop review and was really excited when I clicked on it last week that I was going to do that but when I finally had some listings on and went to click on shop review today, find out that you have raised the price 😔
    Nothing wrong with that, as I am sure it’s worth every penny but now I cannot afford it.

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  2 года назад +8

      HI Aisha, So glad you have been enjoying my content! As for the shop review, its usually better to wait until you have been doing it for a few months to really give yourself a chance to learn and grow and get a bunch of listings up!
      Here are the biggest tips I find myself giving in my shop reviews
      1. Buy the best mock-ups you can find, even if you can only buy one and use it for every listing! Don't even include the mock-ups from Printify, just delete all of them.
      2. Make a nice logo and banner for you shop, fill out the about me section, shop policies and FAQ's.
      3. Try to be ahead of the design trends, focus on holidays and seasons 8-12 weeks in advance, design 25-50 designs for each holiday/season to start and then when things start selling well, make more of them! You want to have about 50% holidays/seasons and 50% designs that can sell anytime like bachelorette party shirts and teacher shirts.
      Congrats on getting started! That is such an accomplishment already

    Hi Cassiy! I'm sorry if I asked you this already, but I don't remember. Being that I just started using printify, I am trying to figure out how to price my shirts when they are on sale,. I can't find what the original price was . Therefore, I don't know how to price it so I will still make a profit when the sale is over . Can you tell me where I can find the original price? Thank you!

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  2 года назад +1

      I think I know what you mean Vicki, when looking at all of your listings in the Shop Manager page, it will show you the price of each item before the sale price. I also just put all of my items at the same price so its not confusing. So if you want your shirt to be $19.99, then price all of your shirts at $24.99 - 20% so they all match. Hope this helps!

    Putting your best keyword phrases at the beginning of the title is a good idea, but etsy no longer gives them more weight, they changed that a couple of years ago. Here's what they say now:
    "Lead with the keywords that best describe what your item is since that’s what shoppers see first when browsing, especially on mobile devices. Where a phrase is used in your title doesn’t affect a listing’s ranking."
