We took Monster Games for granite. They started off rocky, but honestly H4 and 5 are two of the best NASCAR games in recent years. I feel they've ran their course on making NASCAR games, it's time for a new dev, but Motorsports games is an absolute calamity, and NASCAR isnt the only license they've snatched up and will hold hostage for the next decade. SRX The Game is really fun as well. These guys deserve more appreciation.
Since the Career Mode uses the 2020 schedule, it means that the removed race tracks are Chicagoland, Kentucky, and Atlanta. Don't ask why the devs removed Atlanta from the schedule when it's already in the 2022 DLC

Looks like Radman is also inflicted with curse that is Daytona. If you're in the lead before the final lap, you lose. No driver has ever won being in first after the g-w-c and overtime rule. Even without overtime, it's still not possible.
Gowen said that the dlc uses the ignition template, I would expect the 2022 mod with all the schemes in the next week because the modding community is that much better than msg

It appears that the game continues to use the original/intended 2020 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, however there are the notable exceptions to what's there: Indianapolis, Chicagoland, and Kentucky. It's possible that these were removed because of the fact that they weren't run at in 2022, or had a layout change since, and therefore just decided to forego having them be part of the schedule in-game.... Which makes no sense since the Indy road course is ALREADY IN THE GAME......

Man the graphics for NASCAR video games has become insanely amazing and more realistic than ever before if NASCAR games when I was a kid back in the early 2000s was this good I would never leave the house I'd be playing NASCAR all day but I got I racing which is more realistic but this looks like a fun choice when I don't want to be serious and same with the Tony Stewart dirt racing games on my Xbox One
It's made that way since that's pretty much how the gen 7 car is. So far from what I'm seeing, they really tried making it realistic but I've only raced daytona so far. It's definitely plate racing and an improvement imo.
What i’ve been told is that the Next Gen cars in this game seem to run at draft speed even when not drafting. Definitely feels more difficult to qualify, or even keep up unless you’re drafting
For PlayStation, the game is more difficult for Daytona too. It’s not just for pc. The qualifying is slower and you’re 4 seconds slower and start in last place

It is actually really tragic that Nascar gets neglected game wise. For the fact the top 15 Nascar games has majority of the games being early 2000's, even with one from the damn 90's that is still supported shout out to the beautiful, beautiful Modders keeping it alive. Says it all. Imagine if EA never brought out that Nascar game and the original dev team was allowed to blossom. What could have been!!! Legit, Nascar games I think of the stereotypical rich guy in a suit chucking money at a dev team, "make the picture pretty, f*ck everything else that makes up a racing game." 🤣🤣🤣
2020 is unusable and nothing saves if you go to the main screen or exit the game. Otherwise the racing wasn’t bad. I’m On ps5 Edit: I know it’s not ideal but I noticed someone else mention in the comments it may have to do with saves created before the update so I deleted my save file. All my above issues were fixed

I play on Xbox, and one issue that I run into is that every time you finish a race, and you go back to the main menu, the game crashes. 100% of the time without fail. This makes career and championship mode impossible, as well as seeing how many wins and starts I have at a certain track. Now I’ve wasted $15 on a game that crashes every time I use it. Great. But at least I can play the 2020 season without It crashing.
Is anyone on steam experiencing their NH5 dlc not working? I now have none of my dlc in NH5 working after the update. I've tried deleting download cache, changing region, unchecking and rechecking dlc install, even deleting all steam folders except steam apps folder and reinstalling steam files, nothing seems to work....all of my other games and dlc in my library work fine. Another fine moment in MG history🤬
When you started the game, you selected 2022. Of course you’re gonna be in the next gen car online. If you wanna race 2020 online, you start the game in 2020 season.

The speed at plate races is realistic. They top out at like 195 in the draft now.

Plate racing is more difficult irl too now. The drivers have mentioned getting runs is hard now.
Gen 7 NASCAR cars in HEAT 5 only able to reach 198.8mph maximum.
One main thing I noticed is the high line seems to be a lot more effective at Bristol. The AI seems to favor the 2nd and 3rd lane over the bottom lane

I don't mind not having side crash damage since the front and rear damage looks so good. But side paint damage and scrapes would be great.

I’m liking the game. The restrictor plates a different is because that these cars today are 15 miles slower than what they were in 2020 and 2021

i hope that the next nascar developer can get the greenlight to make a game title NASCAR GENERATIONS the name says it all multiple eras of racing.

I bought it and downloaded the DLC, nothing new showed up. reinstalled heat 5, again nothing new
try to keep doing this. It's an ongoing problem I know GOWEN had the same issue he kept uninstalling and reinstalling it and eventually it worked

Kansas was 2022 track and in DLC Indy oval has not been ran since 2020 same with Kentucky

If you are on PC and have used Mods in the past, and played with Mods in Career Mode. You have to manually delete your SaveFiles trough Steam
