Seeing Ed in this video gave me a great idea. When the Golden Nugget is done, you guys should go get it stuck and then "We got a call" and have Ed come out on the retrieval of it.
You shouldn't make they feel bad for getting stuck that way they get stuck again and they pay you again to get them out. You don't want to shame them into correcting their behavior.
I’ve got a employee who basically runs my office. And everyone who comes in the office for two minutes a month tells me I don’t appreciate her enough and all this other stuff. They have no idea the things that we do with her and treat her like family that she loves. We don’t need to justify it to them but it does get a little old them making it assumptions that employees are not appreciated. We understand the value of employees. This is not gas monkey garage.
Dave said we need to appreciate Trevor more. He didn't say Matt needed to appreciate him more. I am glad to hear your treat your employee very well. That's a good thing.
I think I’ve found your secret Matt. I noticed you and your team are getting close to a million subs. I personally believe you deserve this success. We as your fans love seeing a family ran business, work hard, and what employees you have that are not family, are treated like family. So if you ever wondered why, this is my two cents. Hard work pays off. Congratulations sir.

I do not know how i found your channel. Not sure if I found you or Fab Rats first. But I am happy I did! Why? I have no idea! Maybe I am just a fan of Matt and your family and Paul and his family! Matt saying that he's been working with Rudy for 21 years is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. We all know Matt is a soft hearted guy but damn, that makes me smile.
When he said "have Lizzy sign them too" made me realize I'm sure she has her own fandom that's apart of this channel. She's a good role model for girls in a profession that would suggest being heavy towards males and she's pretty. Good for her.
My mom just bought my old man your pull rope for their big jeeping trip in Nevada . I got him in on watching your videos and he's addicted as well as I am! Love the videos Matt keep em coming!
It just happens to the best of us... Was out 40 miles from a power pole let alone any dirt roads...Carb float sank in 110 degree weather in the desert one time... laid a sleeping bag over the hot engine... Trail-fixed the float only to get stuck later into the day... :) 2nd truck pulled me out only to then get himself stuck....What FUN..!
I remember in HS me and a buddy got his truck stuck. His folks where out of town and was going to be back the next day. We go the Tractor stuck and the three wheeler stuck too....figure we where going to be in hell of a trouble. By the next after noon the sun dried up all the mud and every thing pulled right out. Just it was boggy wet that night before and anything heavy was sinking. His dad asked why my truck wasn't out there stuck too and I said, "I'm not as stupid as your son." LOL
Back in the late 80's I had my old 70 F-250 with a 500 horse 390 across a dry lake bed at right around 120mph with its original camper mirrors still on it.. Those mirrors howl wildly at those speeds.. I miss that truck! I love to see that particular year still around every now and then. (last rescue on this vid)
Coming from a cold climate in Canada, I'm always amazed how these guys can run around in full beards and JEANS in 100°F and not be drenched in sweat and not have heat stroke...
A great mix of recoveries and personalities in this one! I loved the Ford F250 that was stuck in the mud hole. Such a nice looking truck. Props to the young fella!
I never thought these were staged. There are times when Matt goes by staging areas with 50-100 Jeeps, campers, beach goers, razors, etc. So that should tell you people are using this park heavily, and some of them are bound to drive a bit too far. As for why doesn't X customer have 4x4, you still get stuck with 4x4. Just happens a bit farther away from the road. Even Matt and crew with their heavily modified vehicles get stuck and have to pull each other out.
I believe that a few people have purposely gotten stuck to be in a video, although I do not think Matt was in on it. If I was 30 years younger I would be getting stuck all the time just to get the opportunity to flirt with Lizzy.

I was fortunate enough to Sand Hollow and play around this year. Same generation 4Runner as the first recovery. I almost got stuck about 50 yards from the tunnel. Lucky I was going uphill and was able to just force my way backwards with a gravity assist (thanks Earth). The sand is ridiculously soft and fluffy out there.
Matt, that shirt with the yellow that Ed is wearing would be a good one to have him wear on the day he gets the golden nugget back. It would be like wearing camouflage in a military tank. They go together.😁
Had one myself. Nothing worked except the engine and drive train. Forever. I kept wishing it would fail as I was driving down the road with frozen windows and soft brakes and loose steering.
exellent editing. scene cut on the beat - that's professional work. a huge BRAVO for the video-team. they do allways a great job and are never mentioned.
Hi Matt and Team. I apologize that I will probably never be able to use your service but just wanted to say Thank you to you and your team for rescuing all the stranded folks out there. Keep up the good work. Love from Toronto Canada. BTW will be picking up my Off-road recovery shirt online.
Ed is just a machine with the one liners. I got hearty chuckles out of his remarks LOL. That steering wheel cover on the Grand Cherokee tho... HEH. Matt's really embracing the winch now and I am a happy happy camper! So great watching you guys. Thanks for signing! Matt's hand must've been sore after that lmao
I am old guy that like to play with my tv remote control all the time, 2 weeks ago I saw on episode where the girl Lizzy went under the big RV and did not show any kind of drama, not bad words, just simply comments and that's it. Then I started watching one by one those episodes and stick in my TV for 8 days watching all of them until I had not any new just this yesterday recovery. All are really great entreatment crew, just show the most important thing ...recoveries. Not bad words, any negatives comments the young boy Rudy full of skills to do any job, I can mentions all of your great crew but the new generation is very nice to see working hard, congratulation Matt's is enjoyable every of your shows
Great job as usual. One can tell how experienced you are by how easy you make some of the recoveries look. Right knowledge and right gear sure helps you. As soon as I heard the Jeep was at risk of falling over I knew that Missy Lizzy would be jumping into it. Fantastic role model for ALL girls.
Ah Matt and everyone, thank you so much, another great video. I'm sorry that you have to read so many critical comments and I'm certain your knowledge and experience speaks for itself. Let the critics spend their time typing away, while you're out there helping people. ps Love the shirt Ed!
She has with one of the younger boys when every one else was out on other calls. I think they pulled a couple people out on that video too before heading back.
I about fell off my chair when Matt said someone stated that Matt's recoveries are staged. Seriously? I don't even know where to begin unpacking that one. I better stop commenting now, show some character, and take the road less traveled like Matt!. Great video once again! Awesome fun and awesome crew.
Thanks Tucker, 2 Jaime trips with commercial, Travis doing the run, Rhett on camera, Jeffe doing the job and Ed doing the weather with a Hawaiian shirt , and great rescues. The temps made me almost warm sitting here in N NM freezing waiting for snow.
Matt, thank you for all the videos you post. My legs twitch after every pull, it helps me with my anxiety. I appreciate you and your team. Keep up the good work.
Another great show! You guys know your channel has become what is really like a network TV show as those involved are now Characters we all follow and love to see and hear from each episode. Since I'm also a creator on RUclips I know how it works financially which is amazing and wonderful for all involved. I hope Matt is rewarding all his crew members financially since to us they are as fun to watch and listen to as it was to get to know and love the cast of Friends over the years. Matt has to be one of the most honest and humbled men on RUclips so I'm pretty sure he's taking care of all involved with their success. Also the editing is top notch smart and creative.
#1 thing I’ve learned by delivering parts in a big truck and driving SUV’s: most people don’t take the time to intentionally train themselves WHERE their tires are on a specific vehicle. Sure, they know within a foot or so, but when a couple inches matters they get themselves stuck because they don’t know exactly where their tires are in relation to themselves and the road.
I love the new logo on the t-shirts but I think that you should still have "So, I made a call..." on the back of the ones for actual recovery customers, they deserve a special acknowledgement.
We used to live in a place with a view of a volcano with a large caldera (~1 km across). One time a grass fire got into the crater and burned all night. Now that looked like an erupting volcano!

I love that you guys give a weather report at the beginning of the job, but I really wish you would include the date as well... I know you guys publish these videos out of order and it would give a good context as to when you guys are seeing the weather you are... I would like to know that it's 103 F in September if you're posting the video in December... otherwise, I think y'alls weather is crazier than ours in Mississippi :D

I have the other situation living at the top of New Zealand's South Island. We have some pretty big mountains (3000 feet plus) and even they rarely have snow on top. I can usually see Tapuae-o-Uenuku (we just call it Tappy) which is 9645 feet, and that _always_ has snow on top. The problem is you get used to the climate you live in, so I cry like a girl if the temperature gets down to 10°C (50°F). 😬
@@TrevorDennis100 well Trevor, it’s just below freezing at my place, and we’re expecting snow. I have a feeling Ed would be fine, he’s been on recoveries in the snow (I think). Matt and crew certainly have been.
Where I'm from temperatures range from -25c in the winter (-13f) to 30c in the summer (86f), anything over or under that and I don't dare to even go outside😂
I swear ever since I started watching these videos, I feel this belongs on TV “TV”. Even thought I do watch it on tv you know what I mean what ever you guys rock !!
I think you should do an episode about driving properly in the sand and using four wheel drive. I am sure some of your rescues wouldn't be needed if the people just kept moving.
A magic mash-up from a magic team! Every one of you stand at the front of the character and personality lines! Respect and regards to y'all from lil 'ol New Zealand!👍🏻
Even though he is now famous, Matt is still your regular joe, and you have got Trevor, I mean that guy is the kind of guy you hang out on the weekends and toss back a little whiskey

That’s an Awesome idea
Kind of like they did with the RUclips play button, except this time its Ed.
That is a great idea!👍
@@williamwismer8212 Ed is so much cooler than a RUclips play button!
That look on Lizzie’s face when Ed said she was “scared” was priceless. I don’t think there is much that girl is scared of…
I think you are right on that,Mike😄
I wouldn't want to run into whatever does scare Lizzie! Girl is quite fearless!
Yeah, Ed, that lady is not from your or my generation. Lot of iron in her blood, and spine. And we already know pink is NOT her favorite color!!
Ed was just tweaking her.
"That wasn't bad, I could see the ground", excellent Lizzie.

Matt is 'Good People'!
Their misfortune is his fortune.
Because they bring in the dough.
You shouldn't make they feel bad for getting stuck that way they get stuck again and they pay you again to get them out.
You don't want to shame them into correcting their behavior.
If you go off-road enough times, you’ll eventually get stuck. Most times, someone nearby is willing to help.
Apart from pointing out to everyone they know that if they jacked it up and took the spare tyre out as soon as they were deep in sand...
We need to appreciate Trevor more... we can always depend on him!

Homemade with the best of the best and that isn't cheap. I'm sure the price tag on his rigs are getting up there also..
That F250 looked and sounded so good. Happy to see hes out playing with it instead of it collecting dust in a barn.

This episode just reminded me of what an incredible project the MORRVAIR really is. Pretty amazing
Especially with only three wheel drive.
I like that last kid driving the vintage Ford truck. He has great taste and a bright future.
Whomever said these were "set up" rescues has clearly underestimated the ability of man to get himself into such predicaments.

I know you guys publish these videos out of order and it would give a good context as to when you guys are seeing the weather you are... I would like to know that it's 103 F in September if you're posting the video in December... otherwise, I think y'alls weather is crazier than ours in Mississippi :D
Come on 1 million!!! You should do an auction for those 2 numbered and sign by Matt and Lizzy, then donate the earnings to your favorite cause.
As soon a I heard "We got a vehicle that is perched in a precarious position" , I knew you would have Lizzy along!
GREAT VIDEO. RETIRED 77, USAF VET. WAITED 25 MONTHS, 16 MONTHS TO GO. ORDERED 4500 LB, 31 FOOT, NO FRAME, STAINLESS STEEL, CRAB WALK, ALL WHEEL STEER, FOUR MOTOR, BULLET PROOF, 500 MILE RANGE CYBERTRUCK WILL CHARGE WITH SUN LIGHT.
Snoozed my alarm, look new video from Matt. Okay I guess I'll forgo my snooze sleep to watch it :)
Wonder what Ed would say to minus 14 up here where i live if once saying feels like 110 there. Gladly trade for some of that heat.
You Sir are living in the most beautiful area of the world.
Greetings from 🇺🇸
Yeah, his comment reminded me of the weather prognosticators here when the wind blows in the winter. "15 degrees, feels like -10."
“You don’t have to get stuck to get a shirt.” This channel is so fun to watch!
Whenever I see Matt pull on the winch line in the dark, I think of Nedry in Jurassic Park when he's stuck in the rain and it cracks me up.
Never a dull moment here.. Thank you so much for the entertainment Matt.. God bless you and your family!.. Seasons Greetings!🎅🎄🤶
Correct me if I'm wrong. Not everyone involved in this operation is family and it makes this all the better. Wholesome family content!
Morvair: Look what I can do with one stub shaft tied behind my back. Banana: just wait ‘til I get out of the shop. I’ll show you!
Loved the been working with Rudy for 21 years. That's one way to look at parenting
Man I love seeing the MORRVAIR out there working!
I swear ever since I started watching these videos, I feel this belongs on TV “TV”. Even thought I do watch it on tv you know what I mean what ever you guys rock !!
The lightning was sweet in the one shot
Matt, I got a shirt from you and was surprised to find a decal included in the box! THANKS! It's on my work van for the world to see!
It's not the Jeeps fault, it's the loose nut behind the wheels fault.
You mean the squidgy organic bit?
Oh my gosh, that was a highboy! I thought that was just a regular 70's Ford truck. What a shock when that popped up out of the mud.
Best channel on RUclips! Keep up the great work y'all.
Even though he is now famous, Matt is still your regular joe, and you have got Trevor, I mean that guy is the kind of guy you hang out on the weekends and toss back a little whiskey
Lizzie is going to make someone a great wife . I am always impressed at all the things she can do Keep up the good work girl
Matt showed us the meaning of why that's called a snatch rope on that last fine looking truck! Thanks Matt!
At 10:45 correction, Ed - Lizzy was the only one NOT scared. She don't scare easy.
Right, and that scares me!
“Can You Dig It?” Matt CAN DIG IT!
Even with three axles . . .
This should be the newest shirt from MORR.
