Everyone should consider watching this slowed down to its original speed. Use RUclips's Settings->Playback speed at 0.75. Then the people will walk normally, the birds will fly normally, and the puddles will splash normally.
No, this soundtrack is the music of guitarist Larry Marotta from his album Silent Film Soundtracks Vol. 1 (released 2008). And this track is, well, Regen. Of course this film is originally silent, but you can see that an early score it was shown with was by Lou Lichtveld. You should try listening to it silent, and then find some other versions with different scores (including Lou Lichtveld's). The effect it has is quite striking. This version is thus quite different from what Joris Ivens himself experienced; but it is my favorite one.
@@juparula Thanks for this info, I tend to dislike any score the filmmaker did not have an influence on or one that was written long after the film was made. They feel false, anachronistic and desecrate the film.
@@MightyYoungSir Do your own things rather than complaining every time your black asses is not refered in some European countries. Why it's always the white people who have to represent you in their own countries ??? Wtf are you doing for yourself damnit!! In 1929 I don't think Africa had invented cinema. The French invented it. Fed up of this jealousy. Unbelievable.
@@MightyYoungSir I see that you tried to answer but it was so unrational that you deleted your bs. "White people weren't even on Earth til 700 years ago"??? Are you on something??? We don't have to apologize to you because there is no black people in an European movie from 1929. End of.
