  • How many languages do you speak ? Street interview in Taiwan.
I found that most European can speak more than two languages fluently. During the process, I actually tried to interview Taiwanese people on the street, but I found that everyone was generally shy or not confident in their second foreign language. But I I feel that language should be spoken out bravely! I hope this episode can inspire you too.

Don’t keep saying 'YAYAYA' when others are talking. It's very annoying.

I liked Tiago’s interview best, very interesting person and I aspire to be like him, to study the culture of each place I visit as well as the language. Side note: you could tell he was from either NZ/Australia as soon as he said the word ‘so’😊.

I can’t believe Julia has a Master’s degree! She and Sina look like they’re 18 and 16 y.o. Ich spreche auch Deutsch. You should try harder phrases with your translator device to really challenge it. Good video Jay!

The first french guy's chinese is really great for how long he has been in Taiwan.
I am also french and I spent 1 year in Taiwan. Now I am back in France and still learning.
My mandarin is still far from his!

I think the main reason is that he's full-time undergrad student and his classmates are all locals (?)
