- Take a ride on Brighton Pier's terrifying Booster ride in our 4K on-ride POV. This ride is right on the end of Brighton Pier, taking riders up above the pier and over the sea whilst flipping upside down repeatedly during the ride cycle.

Great vid! I’ve never done a booster ride and despite loving parks and coasters, I’m terrified of heights (did the London eye once and had a huge panic attack). I used to love Slammer at Thorpe which is the only thing I’ve been on that is in any way similar. Whenever I’ve been to Brighton, no one wants to ride it and I wouldn’t fancy pooping myself alone 🤣
It took me years to do Spin Doctor at Pleasure Beach, the whole idea of this type of ride was a big 'nope', but eventually did it in 2005. These rides have always kept a fear factor for me, especially the siting at the top waiting for it to move.
Incredible blue skies and sea.
I loved that, increased the whole enjoyment factor
This is actually my second-favourite ride on the pier, after Air Race. Whenever I go on the Booster, I always count the number of times I go full circle.

This ride actually looks mental tbf! I've done Pandemonium at Drayton Manor which i guess you could say is quite similar maybe so i'm expecting a similar experience only above the water!
Thankfully these don’t hold you upside for any lengthy periods of time
That ride is terrifying! But fun to ride!
Definitely
That looks insane!
It is a great location for it
Having done this it was easily the scariest ride I’ve been on, the way this guy is laughing it off makes no sense to me 😂.
Nervous laughter lol
My Brother and I went on the booster and it’s a great ride. Well worth £10.
Does it still exist? Going in two/three days and I really wanna go but some people say it’s gone
Swear doing this soon hope above 1.4M
Only wanted go on it once that all
Yes wish luck
Thank you for watching and commenting, enjoy
One of the only rides I have bottled out of 😳🧱👍🏼
It took me years to do Spin Doctor at Pleasure Beach, the whole idea of this type of ride was a big 'nope', so I don't blame anyone for not doing one of these.

Over water? Super terrifying.
I loved that, increased the whole enjoyment and fear factor
MnDs in Scotland have just received one of these rides maybe on loan I think . I remember being on the the spin doctor wayyyy back in pleasure beach ,
Is the booster taller than the spin doctor ?
Maybe a good reason to finally do M&Ds the next time I drive past
@@yourexperienceguide yeah they have another few rides on loan for Xmas season plus the tornado is being dismantled and sold to a showman in France
Claire Turnbull I’d seen about Tornado, but don’t follow much about the park so appreciate the updates. Probably go next summer
Nice short video
Glad you liked it!
Nothing frightening about this ride, at all I found it very pleasurable and provided amazing views
Views are excellent but people will find it frightening. Thank you for watching and commenting
Lol i remember my mum forcing me to do it with her 😂
Did you enjoy it?
When I was queuing for this ride, some girls in the queue seemed quite nervous. I reassured them that the ride has over-the-shoulder harnesses with multiple locking mechanisms.
When my time came to get on, I made sure my boots were secure. I'd been a bit worried about them coming off on the ride, although I'm fine with going upside down. There was no one sitting in the seat next to me (the control room has diagrams in it showing the operators how to arrange riders so that the ride is correctly balanced). Then, when the ride was in motion, others were screaming, possibly out of terror, whereas I was just calmly counting the number of times I went full circle.
Some people would probably be like "never again" after going on the Booster. But I'd go on it again. I can confirm that I still have the boots I wore on the ride!

Doing it on opening day on the twelfth, I’m a bit nuts lol

How much do they actually charge for this? I've never been to Brighton but I know its a expensive ride to ride! its bit short for whatever your paying!? seeing a Booster MaXxx at M&Ds next week as they've hired the newest in the UK off from UK showman David Taylor
Ride Madness Bought a wristband so didn’t check the individual pricing for each ride
@@yourexperienceguide I think it’s about £8 which is a bit steep if you ask me
Hi-from Rochdale
Hello
It’s not as bad as it looks
Thank you for watching and commenting
i did this ride today
Hope you enjoyed it
I've noticed a couple of eejits using their phones on this ride, even though there are warning signs saying that there is a danger of loose objects falling into the sea!
No chance I’d film on this without the camera being secured (as it was for this)
Ive always been to scared to go on this.... I'm a 33yr old male. 😂🙄
Give it a go 😉
