I'm struggling to decide which one to buy because on the websites some speedo sockets the black band doesn't say speedo and in some websites the black band has the brand all the way... which one to buy? I want the original... i need help😢

Yes I can see arguements to be made for both the Cobra Ultras and New Speedsockets, both are great! Yes I've seen them, they look pretty great, if I was still wearing Swedes regularly I'd grab a pair.
I have mp chronos but doesn't work for me personally - but I wish they did

Right to the point, I would definitely go with the cobra ultra for races!
But for training, I rather use either the cobra core or Swedish goggles.
Can agree with that mate! Core are a little more roomy which is nice for practice and Swedes once used to them are just 👌

Cobra Ultras are the best in my opinion they have lasted me many 1500s and 800s and plenty of open water races. With those 3 year old cobra ultra I got a new best time of 9:12 for 800 free (13 yrs)

But what is it like if you wear glasses, i.e. need corrective lenses? Did you also gain experience there? Wouldn't that be worth a video too?
I have about -2 dioptres in both eyes and have been using Swans goggles for years.
What goggle would you recommend for weekly use? Not intending to race or anything. I just want to use them for a weekly swim at the pool.

Have you ever tried racing in the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0’s? They’re my favorite for practice and for swim meets. They’ve always served me well and I’ve had the same pair for the past 3 years that I used to train in.
I've tried them well in the past and have known a few people to use them but they seem to have fallen in popularity more recently. Glad they serve you well.
I use vanquisher 2.0. they do well for outside swimming where there's a lot of sun and glare. They leak though. My speedo hydrospex don't leak, but are clear, and best for indoor pools.

i used to wear these, kinda disappointed me. at one point i was buying one pair a month so i switched to a different practice goggles.
I used vanquisher 2.0s for 2 years and went through probably 15 pairs. They always break at the nosepiece, and come off when diving in easily.
The Arena Cobra Ultras were the first goggles I ever enjoyed wearing

Hey, who do you race for, guessing somewhere in Britain. I may try and do a further look I to Swedish if I get the time or maybe a Malmsten review as they are an all time classic!
what are the best goggles that are durable and I can wear in training a lot because overtime the bit around the bit that allows you to see through on my arena cobras gets a hole in it and they leak

A little late to this video.
I've had the speedsocket 2.0 for just over a week now and I cannot for the life of me get them to fit correctly. Leaking and fogging mean I need to stop almost every length. I've tried all 3 bridges supplied and no success. Very frustrating!
I'll persevere for a while but think I'll be in the market for a replacement shortly
Im using Nike vapor goggles and arena cobra ultra
I like the speedo faskskin 3 they are so comfortable. But they are very dark. The have now made lighter version. They also have coloured lenses.
I done a race got a good time at the weekend . For 100m 1:08:00 (12 year old)

Should I get the black fastskin 3s or green? Are the black ones ok for indoor pools?
@@ok-gg5kp whatever you prefer the look of I'd say. If your pools quite dark maybe a dark lens isn't optimal though?

The MP (Michael Phelps) goggles are no longer available. Apparently Arena makes their version of them now. I really liked the MP goggles.

Which one You choose between arena cobra ultra with arena swedix mirror goggles?
Cobra Ultra are safer bet but if you wanna save money and look cool, can't beat Swedix

Cheers. Yes I have tried all variations, even the massive alien bug things that were beyond stupid (I didn't buy them don't worry, I went to the launch event). The Elites are actually quite decent and I raced in them for a year. They are flatter to your face but generally have a bit more real estate than the Speedsockets, more akin to the Cobra Ultra actually but I find their strap sooooo annoying and build quality to degrade a bit too quickly for the price. That being said if I didn't think the Speedsocket 2.0 was so great and be my favourite Speedo, the FS3 Elite goggles probably would have made the list!

Hi. I have small question for you. I wanted to buy Speedsocket 2.0 mirror but i heard this mirror surface can be destroyed after 1-2 months because Speedo have shity products now. . . Can you share with me your expierience's with this goggles and confirm this ?
Sopel987 I don’t have any issue with that..... mine is fine with a little scratch I think you can go for the mirror and they are comfortable also ...at least to me

Used to have a pair of Speedo aquablade goggles that were like silicon version of the classic Swedish. Could only wear them for racing though!
Like you the original speed socket has been my go to for just about everything! You used to be able to get orange lens ones for like £15 ! And then they stopped doing them.

I noticed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics all the swimmers seem to be wearing arena swimwear over speedo I wonder why?
Speedo suits sucked until they released the Pure Intent/Valor so Are a were hugely preferred. That being said at the Olympics most athletes will be sponsored and have to wear their brands suits.

I was sent a sample, then there was a delivery problem, then it never ended up happening and the company went quiet with me? (I was getting a pair to review, they didn't run off with my money don't worry)

Yes I agree. I have huge eyelashes so the Arena goggles just aren’t for me. For me personally I’m actually rocking the TYR 2.0 Speed Rocket metallized fire. I would definitely recommend them.
@@mguardiola the Cobra Core is more accomodating for big eye lashes. That being said I have had the Socket Rocket 2.0 and they are a lovely Swedish variation!!!
