I just installed my Archive hammer hangers last weekend along with the shock relocation towers. Having the bed off made punching out those rivets 10 times easier when using the air hammer.
Awesome job Maxx. You funny when you set the parking brake, on tires that are in the air. Did you try using the air chisel attachment of your air hammer to shear the rivets heads off. I've used mine several times over the years to do exactly that. Makes quick work of it.
Just became your 13k subscriber O.o, love the channel man. From the east side of WA, had 17' Off Road but just got my hands on a 18' Pro. All the best to you and your family keep it up!
Still trying to dial in my mid travel set up alignment. Took back to shop to add more camber. Better now. But on high speeds on the freeway. A little twitchy. Do you have any problems on your mid travel or long travel set up? After removing your sway bar on your long travel, how the ride? Or having Uni-ball on LCA & UCA will alway track from the crown of the road.
Look at the stretch in the brake lines, it might be time for some longer ones. Take a look at 8:47, that kind of stress on a factory rubber line is dangerous.
Anyone know if the stock 2015 tacoma trd off road bilstein will take a 2" lift ...or am I going have get shock mount or the piston extenders for the top mount? Thank you!!
Hey man I'm super interested in getting a set of archive hangers and wanted to know how much lift it added to your rear suspension? I already have an all-pro +3in leaf springs in the back with +3in shocks. Great vids man.
Maxx you little dare devil, your a father now of 2 pretty soon and your crawling under a truck without jacks in place, what are you thinking.? You know there is a commercial out there that points out wrongful procedures like this... LOL.. just kidding dude, thanks for the great vids this year, all the best to you and your family...
Do you just love your Hammer Hangars? I ordered some last night. I noticed you just did another major project to you rear suspension. Hope that works out well Ron
Pretty strong reply to that comment. rzrback3 is completely correct, that jack on the rear differential was super unsafe, not just some irrational safety police comment. I cringed as I watched it also. You have a good channel, a beautiful wife and child, a lot of stuff to live for. Jack stands ARE cheap and your reply was not cool. I know you have a super hectic schedule with a job, active channel, family (with another on the way right?), promotional projects, and the rest of life so it might seem like this ungrateful, and "shitting on your work" but its a thumbs down for me also on this video. I know a very nice man in my town named Tom who had a jack slip off on him. He does really well for the most part but can't use his legs at all. He takes is dogs for runs out on the back roads driving his van so I see him pretty often. He has the same "get things done" attitude which really helps him out now. He gets in and out and stows his chair in the back of the van without any help. But I'm pretty sure he would do some things differently if he could do it again. This kind of thing doesn't happen often, but when it does the effects are long term. And its completely preventable. I don't want to see that happen to you and your family. I have been enjoying your content and hope the best for you, but you do a lot of work on your Tacoma, buy another set of jack stands. And maybe get some more sleep =) You have a lot more places to drive your truck! By the way, love your truck, watching your channel and seeing how well it worked for your family was one of the reasons I decided on a Tacoma instead of a Wrangler. So now I have a new 2017 TRD off-road long bed double cab and love it.
These are really unnecessary responses to make toward fans of your page who are simply pointing out real concerns. Concerns you expressed yourself in the video by saying you were being unsafe. Wisdom comes with age, and while I fully expect a trite remark to my message I know that with age and wisdom you will come to realize that these honest concerns for safety practices came from a good place.
Yes the jack drill press! I did that to drill holes in my frame for rock slider install. Works like a charm using a center drill.
Keep up the good work. Its awesome to hear BFgoodrich is showing your truck

You got that right!!!
Way to support your second amendment with appropriate ear protection!👍🏻
I really enjoy grinding and hammering with wireless ear buds. You can jam tunes while protecting your hearing and working
Thank god you are using your safety glasses..LOL Nice work bro!
Looks like this was a tough night in the garage. Way to stay positive.
Awesome job Maxx.

Hahahaha glad I wasn't the only one who caught that.
That intro though 😂 "hey didn't see you there" let's take a look in this package
You have your top shackle bolts in backwards... bolt should be slide from the inboard side with nut on screwing on from the outboard side.
How about just change the shackle to get higher lift? Can you do that? 🤔

Army Strong!
What bed rack and jack do you have in your bed? Thank you in advance.
Does Toyota still honor your warranty? Checking for a friend

tips on how to get it dialed in?
Maxx.. You always crack me up 🤣👍😎

Love your vids, get a new drill!!!
One cordless and one corded😉
Thank you for the great video. Is it worth the effort?

do these hangers lift the rear of the truck if so by how much
You definitely need to get some jack stands! You’ve got two little ones to be there for....
I love your Taco! Those wide body panels are awesome! 👍🏼

What state is he in exactly looks nice?
It would have been cool to see some before and after full flex shots with droop measurements! , just sayin’!
Is that an rd350 Yamaha in the background??
How much travel does your rear suspension have?
Te felicito haces buenos videos , Bendiciones
500 miles check you bolts for "backout" also add loctite if the do back out will help cool little install video !!!! #washingtonoverland
Is the spare Kevlar reinforced? If so, I'd like to buy it. Thanks
Thank you.
Good to know you were able to fix the steering rack. Didn’t a shop tell you that you’d have to move the engine or something crazy?
Maxx Powell That’s insane!
What exactly had to be done to the steering rack? Did you use a rebuild kit?
Just asking because you said you "fixed" the rack. So im assuming you didnt replace it
Are you still running these?
Do you just love your Hammer Hangars? I ordered some last night. I noticed you just did another major project to you rear suspension. Hope that works out well
Ron
Bullet shell casings for ear plugs lol you sir are todays MacGyver
Been doing that for 40 years...
Or more really...
What rear springs are you running?
If you put longer shackles on that you'll get even bigger suspension cycle
Yeah I'd like to try that. Archive garage makes some longer shackles
How did you learn all this stuff? I don’t know shit. Love the channel.
Only side effect is mild to severe ear infections LOL
hey man kind of lift kit do you have on your Tacoma? Rims and tires?
Come on man, use jack stands. We care
Great video buddy! What's that dripping at 10:41??
Whew that's good. I thought it might have been something else since I didn't see any more puddles. Have fun at the photoshoot brother!
Looks like your tabs expire in a week 😉
Just looking out for you.
Looks more like a BFH to me!
The Small drill is the issue🤔
Seems like alot of work
Like a steering rack. . . haha
Bro get some ear pro. Lol
ummmm, if ur going this far, it would have been WAY better doing a shackle flip.
Excuse to buy a real drill😉
Aw man, I want a refund on that decal I bought. Your sweater disappoints me lol
Thumbs down because seriously ... jack stands are cheap and paraplegia is for life.
