Only 15 years old but yet more like 40 years of use. Since the first 10 years they were my only boots. So I literally done everything in them. Red Wing Iron Rangers till death. My honest opinion...

Love em dude. Still got my Chippewa Engineer boots..bought in 1990 with my first harley. Still wear em now...like triggers broom..all original!! ❤

I wore red wings for 40 years working construction.A new pair every two years,where others lasted 6 months to a year.I liked the ones with the super sole.Steel toe was required in my work.Now I'm retired so I just wear an engineer boot or a doc martin when I choose to go riding.Good luck with the new boots.

Good to hear ! Never had the super sole … but I love the engineer boot . Doc Martin a comfy classic , wore them all through my school days …cheers for taking time to comment .

‘Those boots are made for walking’, but they’ll do for biking too, one of these days these can be on RUclips too…couldn’t resist. Bit of a boot fetish but I get it, had the same with my old leather mountain boots a while ago. In summer I wear Doc Martens, also not biking specific but so comfortable. Quirky video, bravo dude

I think you should fix them or get them fixed. Maybe add patches of leather for the bike shifter.
