@@TheKeefusoutdoors Thank you for the support my friend - really appreciate it. Was hoping it might give people a little more insight into the route before heading up there. All the best 😊👍🏼
@@jimmycburfield5997 Thanks Jimmy - appreciate the support. Yes, some great scenery to be had from the summits around Blencathra. Not too long a trek to get up there either. All the best 👍🏼
That looks like such an epic hike! Blencathra via Sharp Edge is definitely one of those bucket-list routes in the Lake District. The scramble along Sharp Edge looks thrilling, and the views from the summit looks incredible. Great video for sure 👌
Thanks Simon - really appreciate it. Sharp Edge is a great route - it’s up there in the top five grade 1 scrambles in the English Lake District in my opinion in terms of enjoyability. Easy to see why it’s so popular when the weathers good. All the best buddy 😊👍🏼
Really enjoyed this ridge walk Craig, you are definitely mastering the editing with some superb camera angles and the switching back and forth on the ascent through the gulley giving a real sense of being there. Them clouds were fast moving even without the help of a time lapse. ps You definitely had the look of a Scotsman as you walked towards the camera, your map looking like a sporran and the trademark socks. Nice one, Chin chin👍👍
Thanks Dave - really appreciate the support my friend. Appreciate the kind comments on the editing too. As you know, these things (videos) take ages of editing behind the scenes, but all worth it. Great to get outdoors and enjoy it, even if I do resemble a Scotsman in trade-mark socks. It’s true 😂😂😂. Looking forward to your next one buddy - keep up the great work 😊👍🏼
@@stigfloberghagenphotography Thanks Stig. Yes, sharp edge is a really enjoyable scramble. It’s a really unique shape too which makes it interesting when you’re up there. All the best 👍🏼😊
Thanks Lesley, I appreciate the kind words. A move up north eh. It sounds perfect for doorstep access to all of the amazing landscapes in both the Lake District and Wales. Happy to share any knowledge on any of the routes/ locations with you once you arrive. 🙂👍
@craig-outdooradventure4632 my house is for sale at the moment so its all very exciting, basically I'm a semi retired empty nest person just want to do more wild camps and exciting hikes! Thanks for you encouragement it's much appreciated.

@@LakeDistrictOutdoors Cheers Dan - really appreciate the continued support buddy. It was a bit heavy on the camera work (rain didn’t help going back and forth or the ridges), but really enjoyable all the same. Keep up the great work on the videos 😊👍🏼
Genuinely the best video to get an actual proper look at scaling Sharp edge. Cracking video mate.Liked and subbed.

Another great video mate. You must've climbed that ridge 3 times with the ammount of shots you got 😅. Top effort!
