The pond project turned out great. I imagine that was a lot more work than what you showed in the video, and the 2038 proved to be a great asset. Very nice area for you to enjoy!
@@michaelmartin9618 Hey Michael, it's good to hear from you, buddy. The tractor has literally allowed me to remain on my land as I've aged. Enjoy the rest of your Summer. -Bill
I am so thankful that our pond here in northern Tennessee has been one without leaks or erosion! I have had to use Riprap to slow down water going into the pond off the hillside. Tim
Happy Sunday, Tim. I'm so glad you're having a good experience with your pond. Ponds can be like owning a boat: fun to have, but at times, it takes a bit of money to keep them going. Thanks for checking in, and enjoy your upcoming Fall. -Bill
Howdy John, yeah I forgot to mention the critters that drink from it. How's everything out your way, good I hope? Plenty of rain here and the corn looks great! thanks for continuing to stay in touch buddy. I appreciate it.-Bill
Hello from Big Sky Country….Montana. Been a while, at 81 time really starts speeding up. Still doing many “Bill Projects” in my 1.5 acre yard with 2018 Deer 1025 R. Being an East Kansas lad from years ago - it’s “crawdads”…I truly have no idea where they came from, but we had crawdads in our yard…and crawdad holes to go along with the animal. We lived a good .5 from a natural drainage creek. Totally enjoy your teaching videos….Dave
Good morning, Dave, and happy Labor Day. I thought life was going fast enough at age 70, but I'm disappointed to hear that it's going to get faster in the next 10 years. I removed several snapping turtles from the pond, and I think that allowed the crawdads to flourish. Now, I’m trying to figure out what their natural enemy is. I’ve been told it’s catfish. The weather is beautiful here this week. Hope you’re enjoying the same. Thanks for checking in Dave.. Be safe. -Bill
Bill, hello again from Missouri. This is another well done video. I enjoy seeing people using the tractors. I just go done with a project using my backhoe on my L3901DT. Dug a 90' long trench for water pipes from out boiler shed to our garage. I will agree with you about having a backhoe. My wife even got in on this project running the backhoe.
Rewatched this one again Bill! Love the pond and how you are keeping maintained. Didn't realize so much goes into it, so I appreciate you sharing. I love the usage of Rip Rap, when I first started looking at these tyoe of videos, was always fascinated by Rip Rap!
