  • In this video, I'm going to build 3 PVC planter boxes for our back deck from scrap pieces left over from our re-siding project. These will be 9 1/4" Tall by 9 1/4" Deep. The lengths will be 48", 35 1/2" and 25 1/2". I will bolt them to the existing balusters using 1/4"x3" Stainless Steel bolts and hardware. I will paint them using Sherwin Williams Duration mixed to a custom color to match the Versatex PVC trim of the house exactly, and I will paint the middle gray to match the house color as well.

Here from remap radio’s premium stream. Enjoyed the episode and still have 12 minutes left. Entertaining and makes consider I have a lot of options with my home that I never considered. I’m just proud of rotating my garbage disposal and putting another L in the drainage so I could put in the air gap for the dishwasher. What a nightmare install for. Had to use a weird tool I got for installing flooring to chisel out my ugly particle board counters to get the dishwasher in, too. Anyways great interview.

Great to see someone here from the Remap Podcast. Patrick and Rob are awesome, and I had a blast chatting with them! I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast and found your way to my channel! Thanks for your kind compliments! 😊

@@DeckerChristopherJ Thanks for ignoring my typos. Couldn't edit on mobile since I don't use the app. I'll make sure to browse your list but most everything I need to fix is fairly mundane like a fence, and the weird wiring of my house. I have 3 switches for hallway lights and one of them just turns it off and doesn't let me turn it on from the other 2!

The boxes look great! I love that you were able to use leftovers to create them! Is there room for a box for the front porch also? All in all I LOVE THEM!
The only thing I personally would have done different would be to plant herbs in the longer of the three boxes. Basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, chives, oregano...
YES YES YES!!! Please give us a tour of your shop and what you create in it, please 🥰🥰🤗🤗😘😘

Thanks for your kind comments! It’s funny you mentioned the front porch, I was just looking to see if I had enough to build one more for below the opening on the front porch. 😉. Herbs are another great idea! We are actually thinking about building a raised bed “garden” on our 2nd floor balcony above where these are. If we do, I’ll be sure to make videos of it! Next in the queue is a bunch of videos relating to my Solar Panels though, so it would be after that if we do it! 😊. Thanks for watching!!

Boxes make a nice look to house, like to see lights installed. Before, after electrical use.

Thanks! I will definitely make a video of the light install, and show before and after energy consumption! Thanks for watching!

I saw this ad on Facebook for something not related to your videos I'm afraid to post the link I just want to make sure you're aware of it but they used a portion of one of your time lapses to sell a product if I post a link will it get removed or put into your spam folder? I will reply to this message with the link just in case
