Hi my sweet pen friends! How are you this week? 🤗 I hope you’re all doing great! Today's video is a little ASMR-y with some captions, so a little different from my usual videos. But I thought it would be fun to share how I pack my sticker orders for my Etsy shop.

Hey! I don’t have a shop yet but hopefully soon :) I’m just unsure of how shipping works. I know Etsy provides shipping labels but how does it work to ship with stamps? I’m interested in shipping with stamps since I’d be selling stickers.

Inspiring! I hope I can get my calligraphy skills a little better to do stuff like this. The shops where my name had been beautifully written is always such a lovely surprise. I usually keep it and cut it up and use it on bulletin boards or stick it to things.

I'm finally making stickers from my art, hope to sell them soon. I'm with you on the plastic vs. the paper envelopes. Plastic bags look so nice. But I know they'll just get thrown out! So paper / glassine it is. 🖤

Hello, may I ask which courier you ship your products to overseas? How much is the cost?
hey so for the address do we have to include a return address if we don’t have a p.o. box or do we put our actual address in the top left and then the customers address in the middle?
Wow so beautiful!! My packages are so plain lol!! I love the idea of stamps because it’s cheaper for the buyer, but aren’t you scared if someone says they didn’t get the package. Please help because I want to use stamps but I’m scared too.
Hi Sandra! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words! 🙏🤗 I completely understand where you're coming from. I think every shop owner has to decide for themselves what's best for their business and in my case, I am willing to accept the liability of lost mail at this point since the volume of orders I receive is manageable. I may decide to change over to something with tracking later down the line, but for now, this is what works for me. I am ready to make things right with anyone who decides to support my little shop by resending their order should it get lost, *knocks on wood* but fortunately this hasn't happened yet ✨ Hope this helps and hope you're doing well! ❤️

Yay! That's so amazing to hear! Congrats! 😊❤️✨ Yes, that's correct. I include in my listings that orders do not include tracking and simply notify the buyer once I've put their order in the mail. I hope this helps!
May I ask how you ship orders internationally? Is it the same thing where you write the address and put stamps? Do you have to include any other info or customs forms?
Have you had any issues with orders not arriving when you use stamps?
Hi! *knocks on wood* Fortunately, I haven't had any issues so far! 🙏 Since the volume of orders I receive is still manageable, I feel pretty comfortable with sending orders without tracking numbers. 🤗
hi! i’m still very young and wanted to start my own sticker business! I don’t have much knowledge about packaging or addresses etc. I see in your thumbnail that there’s 2 addresses. for you do you put the return address in the top left corner and the actual customers address in the middle?
Yes the return goes in the corner and the customers address goes in the middle. I'm also starting my business in about a month. Good luck on your journey!

@@tiny.flower a return address is your own address or your PO box its purpose is to show where the package is coming from. In case there is an issue with it, they'll know where to ship it back to
Hello, how do you know how much postage to add?
Mailing in the US, there is a forever stamp (currently 55 cents) that will work for any letter mail up to 1oz. Otherwise, postage costs are based on weight and when you want something to arrive. Hope that's helpful :)
How do you know how many stamps to put on your envelope? Im thinking of opening up a sticker shop too but I have no idea how to ship them out using envelopes and stamps >_
Hi! Oh, that's so exciting! 🤗✨ Congrats on such an exciting venture! It's 1 forever stamp for a 1oz "normal-sized" letter. ✉️ So, as long as it's not bulky or too large otherwise it's considered a package and the postage rate will be higher. I currently only ship within the U.S., so I'm not sure what the postage looks like for international, but I'm sure you can look it up on their website or ask the next time you're in the post office. 😊 Please let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions! devnnluu I’m having trouble setting up the shipping in Etsy. I want to use stamps too, but I feel like Etsy isn’t allowing me that option. In your listing how do you specify that you will be using stamps?

It can be a little tricky to navigate at first, but once you get to your shipping options, you'll select to "enter your fixed prices manually" and then under standard shipping, you should be able to select USPS First Class Mail and enter its respective fees. Please let me know if that helps! I'd also be happy to show a walk-through in a future video if you'd like. 😊

hello i am starting a sticker business but I am curious does your shipping cost for these options(just signing the addresses and putting stamps on it)
All you have to pay for is the stamps

Hello! Thanks so much for watching. 🤗 With this method, there is no tracking included. As a shop owner, you would have to make the decision for yourself on whether or not to accept this liability. Something I like to think about thought is that there are still people who rely on paying their bills by mail...🤷♀️ Again, whether or not you feel like it's worth the risk, is up to you. 😊 If the buyer doesn't receive the order, *knock on wood* then I am more than willing to make it right and re-send it. Fortunately, I haven't had this happen though.
Is it possible to ship orders in envelops using stamps if it is very small and like 1cm thick?

Letters
Length = 5 inch min. -11-1/2 inch max.
Height = 3-1/2 inch min. 6-1/8 inch max.
Maximum thickness 1/4 inch
For additional information regarding postage rates, I recommend going to the USPS website for the most up to date info! Hope this helps! 🙏

For the name, can it be kept that way or will you have to write it normally under the calligraphy along with the address?
Hi! 👋 Thanks so much for watching and for your question. 🙏 I personally don't and haven't had any issues with it so far. I like to write the recipient's first name in calligraphy and then print their last name along with their address. This is just what has worked for me. Hello :) Can customers track an order if you send with stamps?
Hi Diana! Unfortunately, no. You would need to upgrade your shipping to include tracking. I may change my shipping options later down the line, but stamps work for me right now and I do my best to follow up with my customers to make sure they receive their orders...so far so good! 🤗 Please let me know if you have any other questions! ❤️ Do you have your own shop as well?

@OrincyWhyteDesigns I think they have an option for you to do it directly through Etsy, but I'm not too familiar with how that works. I simply purchase my stamps from USPS and ask for a sheet of Forever Stamps. ☺️
