For all the Muslims in this comment section who are saying, "Cliffe got smoked." You clearly do not listen or never took a debate class. Do you really think if someone ends a debate, that means they could not respond? There are hundreds of reasons why anyone would cut a discussion and leave. Cliffe cut the debate because he refuses to enter into a debate with any Muslim that pushes forward the premise, " You can prove that a book is the word of God." To prove something means to show without doubt to be true, like 1 + 1 = 2 or that water is H2O. There are things you can show without reasonable doubt to be true. However, you cannot do the SAME for the Bible or the Quran! You can build a reasonable argument showing their reliability and possibilities of being the word of God, but you can't PROVE it. It's that simple. Those two Muslims argued using the circular reasoning fallacy: "The Quran is the Word of God because the Quran says so." Cliffe pointed out how weak that argument is because you can't prove it's the word of God. When the two students continued pushing the premise, "You can prove the Quran is the word of God," Cliffe ended the debate. That's like me saying John is the most honest person you will ever meet. why? Because John said so. How do I know John is not lying? Because John is the most honest person ever. You see the circular reasoning? We will never get anywhere in a debate with such circular reasoning! Also, Cliffe explained why he is cutting off the discussion. He said they are not listening and are not getting anywhere ( again, they won't reject their premise, " You can prove that the Quran is the word of God). Thus, to claim otherwise would mean you are calling Cliffe a liar, which is an unreasonable answer. Why? Because he has debated countless Muslims and already answered similar objections. So, to say he was "running away" is false. So, let's be mature here and keep the comment section respectful and intellectually honest.

You profess Jesus as the Messiah just like we believers,
but then I ask you, what does the Messiah come to do?
Isn't it to come and save? But how can the Messiah save if he is just a “Man"? Can Man save Man Isn't it only God that can save?
Therefore if the work of the Messiah is to come and save then he had to be God and proceed from God (making him an offspring from God or as we say “He's Son"),
This ☝️ has to be the case or else it would be a fallacy and a mockery to the divine law that states that “only God can save man cause he created him".
The spirit of God is also God becau that's how we know and identify that God is in a place, by his spirit.
However even though the holy spirit (kadosh or haruch) proceeds from God and we know and can't deny the spirit is God, yet the spirit can't be the Son because he is not in human form.
How can u claim that God is in a place or in a person when we can't see God physically? It is only by his spirit that we identify he is there.
Therefore if God can exist everywhere at the same time by his spirit. Why couldn't he appear in human form to save man. Cause man had fallen in the garden and deviated how can a fallen Man save another fallen Man? Impossible except God helps them both.
Therefore God's help was through the Messiah whose function as recorded in Matthew 1:21 was to “save his people from their SINS".
and what was the reason why Man fell in the first place?

How do we know it's true? Because the Quran is the word of God. How do we know the Quran is the word of God? Because the Quran says it's the Word of God. That is why Cliffe cut the argument with them. Cliffe has debated many professors, and he is well-rounded in apologetics. He is not afraid of two young Muslim students. However, he has the wisdom and experience to know when people want to debate genuinely, or they just want to shout out their opinions.

He realized the Muslims actually knew what they were talking about and stick to facts rather than emotional arguments of “Jesus loves you all! He sacrificed himself for your sins! Love him love him!” - That’s why he waited till they left before he got disrespectful or else they would’ve schooled him a second time. What he said about our prophet ﷺ isn’t anything new that we haven’t heard. We’re able to easily expose their lies and show proof against what they say, or bring context for whatever they try to twist.

The Bible, the oldest version we have is Greek, but the Bible given to Jesus is Aramaic. Who would give the word of God to the Word of God? You know, the guy just easily disregarded the thousands of eye witnesses who have written the words Jesus said, disregarded the hundreds and thousands of scribes and scholars that have ensured that the scripture and the words of Jesus were translated with utmost accuracy to Greek, to whatever language is at that time. That there is history, that there means the bible is the true Word of God, mass transmission at its core.

Secondly, Bible scholar Bart Ehrman proves that we do not have enough reliable manuscripts to prove that the Bible we have today is in its original form from 2000 years ago.

I respect the Muslim guys, and as a Christian myself, I agree with a lot of what they say, I’ve spoken with Muslims as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and our views are not all that different, but we both receive so much hate, why?
Our views are different, there are many things that are permissible for you but forbidden for us, like pork, alcohol, etc. and difference in believe which I think you obviously know. Meanwhile Islam is hated for what I believe personally because it would destroy the western economy. Many things like porn, gambling, alcohol, and banks(riba) industries which worth billions of dollars are forbidden in Islam, that's why the media is so focused on hating it. Meanwhile I see Christianity is more mocked that hated.

Muhammad'im is the plural of "Mahamad". In Hebrew, we add the "im" at the end of words to mark a form of respect.

Definition of the word Islam: "To submit to the will of God".

To point out something Cliffe failed to mention is realistically people in the region especially Jews had to be multilingual due to Greek occupation during the Hellenistic period after the death of Alexander the Great. It is very likely Jesus had to know Greek as a 2nd language because it was the official language used in trade and government in the region. There has even been archeological findings of Jewish graves with Greek inscriptions further pointing to the multilingual nature of the region. Saying the Gospels aren’t authentic because they aren’t written in Aramaic holds no weight if you actually study the region and languages used in the time of Jesus.

Cliff’s argument is so weak. The thing about Prophets is that they receive revelation from God. God was certainly present in the lifetime of Jesus and unless you deny the Prophethood of Muhammad you cannot say you don’t take his view on Jesus. Certainly you cannot even take that as a reason to reject his viewpoint because in order to come to that conclusion you should already have established whether Muhammad was a real Prophet or not. If you cannot prove his Prophethood to be untrue and if the evidence of Him being a Prophet is stronger then the evidence used to prove that the other Prophets where true Prophets you cannot reject his Prophethood. Thereby Muhammad’s word comes above every human beings word because Muhammad never spoke out of himself, it was merely a revelation revealed from God. And just like all of us He himself was ignorant before receiving that revelation. He didn’t believe the things that He believed because He studied, no it was al revealed from God almighty. Cliff likes to talk about evidence so He should look into the evidences of the Prophethood of Muhammad which certainly is far stronger than the evidence He accepts about the divinity of Jesus and if He so choses to reject those evidence then it is purely out of bias. Since it was kept in its original form and that millions upon millions of Muslims have memorised it, the scripture remains pure, unadulterated. Same with the flood of Noah,God was going to wipe them all out but found righteousness in Noah and his family. God had him build the ark and gave people 120 years to repent while it was being built.
