Love living in Stone Oak. My only complaint is it seems to be ignored by the city - parks and rec centers are sparse or non-existent. Roads are not maintained very well-the park that is here has a trail that used to be paved but is now mostly broken concrete. Exercising is difficult because the sidewalks are narrow, roads have no shoulder and there are no trails. Bike lanes go for a mile and then stop. You have to drive a distance to access nearly anything like that. It’s too bad because it’s an otherwise amazing area to live.
Hi! I'm so glad that your channel popped up in my feed today. Thanks for the driving tour. I haven't come across any others who have thought to give viewers a look at the community at large! I will be relocating to San Antonio in June and will be in the TPC Parkway and Cibolo Canyon Road area near the J.W. Marriot Resort I would love to see a driving tour of that area. I'll be watching!
Yes definitely! Of course not during rush hours but there is easy access to 281. Many people commute to Ft Sam I did for years. Shoot me a text I would love to be a resource if you are relocating. 2107635413
In my personal opinion stoneoak is old and not worth it anymore. The Bandera and 1604 area is newer cheaper and has a nicer HEB & is closer to The RIM, La Cantera, Six Flags. StoneOak is old news
1604 AND Bandera is definitely a great area as well!! I'm a San Antonio fan there are only a few spots that stay away from other than that this city is awesome! Do you own over there?
