@@lilwyvern4 think mine is broken. He IS very expressive with his face but he is not vocal at all. He barks but not much and unlike internet Huskies, he is not a drama queen. He is more like a grumpy old man and he is still relatively young, he likes to stay on bed or couch and has little to no energy. I have to force him to go on walk and while he does like them, he is the embodiment of the sin of Sloth.
@@gwagner1380 what you got there is a silent but deadly drama queen, I have one myself and they aren’t vocal but will be dramatic, if fully triggered. Those expressions are actually them being dramatic, however mine will let it known when something triggers them. I’ve gotten sassy looks and other expressions that may look normal, I can now detect when they’re going to be in trouble.
They remain the silent type for most of their lives. They only bark for fun, while playing as young pups. They only play fetch while young pups. They are calm house dogs that need to be with their pack, not good yard dogs. They have an eardrum-busting bark yet only bark in real emergencies! You know like: the house is on fire, the baby is choking, strangers near the house, grandpa just fell down the stairs, that kind of thing. They are classified as "non-barking working dogs". Love 'em!
@@hermitcard4494 yes, I had a drunk man come to my fence (accidentally) thinking it was his house and my lab/Akita went absolutely crazy. He didn’t shut up until the man left.

I rescued an Akita from an abusive owner that ended up going to Jail. His name was King Kong and he weighed about 150lbs. He was a total sweetheart to me and our kids absolutely adored him. My wife at the time tried but simply got tired of being sat on like furniture. I'm pretty sure my laughter led to our eventual divorce. Kong died in his sleep with three cats curled up on him. He is missed.
Thank you for being a Hero and saving a life. Sorry your ex did not appreciate the wonders and joys of life with dogs. We never stop missing those paws do we. Kong is most likely showing all the dogs in God's Garden, his wrestling moves that may have helped get a not right for you person out of your life. Never underestimate the finesse of a dog that can judge character. One of the things my EX said is if his two Siamese cats accept me, he would date me, so fair is fair, if my cat accepted him, I just might marry him. Though our marriage did not last, our friendship and respect for each other continues. Hope your life is still full of wonder.
When I was a teen and working late one night my Akita saved my life. I was walking to my front door and got grabbed from behind, Q came through the front windows before I could make a sound and chased off the guy biting him on the thigh. You weren’t joking when you said they will protect at all costs. Q got stitches in his flank from the glass, our vet refused to let us pay for it because he “did what Akitas do”. She was also a huge Akita lover. I miss my Q boy dearly. 🥲
Thank you for sharing your story. Dad said when you have 5-girls you need big fearless powerful dogs. My dog Bob saved me twice bet the age of 12-16 fm 2-child rapist. He ran my 20-something brother's pal, who tried to climb thru my bedroom window, up a tree in our side yard & held him there til dad got home. One short visit to our house for a barbecue & the guy took inventory of the house & us girls. I didn't see the guy. Bob was chilling in the backyard & came from around the backyard quiet as a mouse til the guy got the window open. I ran out the front door after hearing a scuffle. Bob tore a huge hole down his entire leg, below the knee. As his leg dripped blood down the side of the tree, he begged me to get my dog. No charges because Bob was the only witness of his sadistic behavior. At 12 a childhood friend's 20-something brother came to the playground where we were on the tower arc & told him his mom wanted him. When he ran home, the felon man tried to grab me off the tower. We lived across the street, he froze, & I got my arm free. When I looked up, I saw Bob gallopping across the green. Not a bark nor a snarl. He was on a rescue mission. His size & presence was enough. I jumped off the 1/2 moon tower & the man jumped on the tower, better get yo dog. Bob was my constant companion. We always walked, rode bikes, & ate everything together. He was given the best of everything...rip brave soul.
It’s not about the dog it’s the way it’s been raised 😀 (just kidding ; that’s the type of dumb cliché people who don’t know much about dogs often say!)
I had neighbors who owned a massive male Chow and and equally massive male Akita. I don't know how they kept the peace, but just seeing those two dogs together scared the heck out of me!
I had two my female was the most chill dog, wouldn't have hurt a fly, dog park was fine. My male played about absolutely nothing, he was a protector who loved his family but with other dogs he was a huge liability. Same house. Same training and socializing including agility training. Two very different temperments, glad to have been owned by Akitas but they are most definitely not for everyone.
“If you hear an akita barking, you probably have an intruder.” I have a Japanese akita and according to my mum at about midday when she was hone alone my dog, Leia, began barking. She went ti investigate and saw a man in all black walking off- Leia got lots of treats and cuddles after that
@@rachell452 Some guy tried to break in. My mum called the police and they actually it’s common for people to break in at middayish so, yeah. Only downside is she’s began fake barking at stuff to get treats lol
"if you hear your Akita barking, you probably have an intruder" that's exactly what we say about my dog Zoey. If her brothers are borking, I'm not too worried. If Zoey is barking, we'd better go see what's going on.
My parents have a lab & a Maltese. If the Maltese barks you’re like “eh” If the lab barks, you go and inspect immediately because chances are something is wrong. Then you go & steady the nerves because you jumped out of your skin. His bark is SO loud 😅
I have a pair of Great Pyrenees that are live stock guardian dogs. They almost never bark but when they do it's for a reason. Usually if I hear them bark at night I'll wake up to my 185lb male pink (they are mostly white dogs) and find a recently deflated coyote, but the sheep and chickens are all fine and accounted for. Side not, before we figured out how to fix proof the coop and we didn't have the dogs yet. 2 separate times I went to get eggs and found a dead fox half eaten. Red Junglefowl are downright brutal chickens. These were all hens and they killed a fox twice! I have a rooster now and he scares me sometimes with how focused he gets in his attacking of food stuffs like lizards and the occasional garter snake
I had an Akita, Sasha, many years ago. She was the best dog ever. My 7yo son (now 34) could walk him and she’d never pull or try to run off after other animals. It’s like she knew he was just a child or something. Miss her so much. RIP Sasha
I love how despite being from the exact same litter, each one has a very different personality and reacts to new experiences in entirely unique ways from each other.
In my old neighborhood a wandering Akita appeared at our door step, he was very sweet and it was hot outside so we let him in and gave him food and water. We had 2 huskies at the time, and he was surprisingly calm with them. Apparently this dog escapes his home a lot so I think he’s been on enough adventures to be comfortable with people/other dogs. His name was Duke. Very pleasant sweety, my boy husky (my sweety) was too scared to interact with him but our lady loved him lol
Yeah being scared of akidas is a good idea for dogs I love mine to death but she is not very fond of our non-akida dogs , but to be fair both the pom and the chihuahua tried to duck with her puppies on her first litter and they keep stealing her food so it's kinda valid I dont need any shit for not having her spayed, I know what I'm doing we breed service dog's for ptsd and asd and akidas do that very well with their guarding behaviour
Haha they are cat like and love to explore! My uncle had a Jindo (a Korean close relative of the Akita with the same loyal yet aloof personality) and he loved exploring the neighborhood on his own even up until his very last days!
I was fortunate to live with a friend that had two adult Akitas…that had a litter of pups. So it was all Akitas-all the time. Incredible dogs. The Mama would lie in the couch with me, and when I had two teeth extracted, she lay next to my head, licking my sore face and kissing me all day long. I miss her ❤️
That's so true. When I got my wisdom teeth removed, my Akita literally laid on top of me the whole time I was sleeping and somehow it felt very comforting.
As a pug owner, I can't imagine the sheer strength each adult akita has. Kudos to all the akita owners out there for taking the time to train their pet!
Eclipse, for my money, is probably the single most beautiful dog ever featured here. And there have been a LOT of lookers on this channel. The whole gang was cuteness overload!

My american akita lay by my wifes side of the bed 2 days in a row,she never liked to come into the bedroom never mind walk around the bed to get to the far side an go to sleep.she would normally just chill out in the hallway so we where questioning what she was up to it was so strange.we thought know more about it until the following week we found out my wife was pregnant👶🏻 she obviously new before we did ❤️
@@Leslie_the_Great Dogs are incredible. They can tell the scent has changed. They can't necessarily tell if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but they can scent the difference. Sometimes, dogs have warned people of a cancer growth that they could detect. I don't know if this is only with a human known to the dog, or if some dogs can do this with stranger-humans. And then there are the assistance dogs who can tell when their human is about to have a seizure. Either because there's a chemical change, or perhaps the body language changes enough for the dog to see it, but not enough that the human knows yet.
My 1/2 Akita, Zooey, was amazing. She was invited to hang out in 2 of my town's bars because she was excellent at preventing fights. She could sense if someone was becoming agitated and would quietly get up and go stand, silently looking directly at the aggressive person; usually before any voices had been raised. (She was precognizant) That de escalated any issue every time. If a man raised his voice to a female, she would place herself in between, silent. If she barked, the bouncer & myself came to her side instantly. (If you've ever owned an Akita, there is no stopping them when they decide to protect. (Which is why constant training & socialization is as necessary as food) I absolutely would have given my life to protect her too. She had her own mind and was simply brilliant.
We just lost our Akita at 14 years old, so watching this was bittersweet; worth it though. They are so cute and sweet and smart that I would happily have another one.
Condolence to you guys! I also lost my 4 months puppy on Oct who we had since she was 2 weeks..(her mom couldn't produce milk and didn't care for her so my dad took her home) She was our first dog so everyone was devastated when she died because of leptospirosis...

Very hard when dogs go. Had to pts my previous dog after he went into full renal failure at 15. Said I would never get another dog, year later adopted my Akita Akira from the dog pound of all places. Just handed in like she was a used jumper..
I had a half Akita, half Lab growing up named Wollef; seeing these babies and hearing you talking about their attitudes reminded me of him and made me smile (through tears, I still miss him 😭)
Another interesting tidbit about Akitas. They can jump up onto a six foot wood fence and walk on top of it as much as they like. They are super agile. I had one ten years ago and he was a dynamic, awesome, loyal, and wonderful protector, but most of all ... he was a friend.
I have a dog that’s only 25% Akita but it’s one of his most dominant breeds (he is 6 breeds). He is small. Only 78 pounds but very thick. He shocked me when he easily hopped over a gate we have. It’s not high but my much larger Dobermans have never hopped over one. Just BOING. So much for that gate.
@@rcar9115 He has to be with me and nothing will stop him getting to me it seems. I got him at a shelter and he attached to me on day 2. Not my husband who saved him from euthanasia. Thankfully with a behaviorists help he is much better and doesn’t try to break doors down or tear up hard wood floors to get to me anymore. He was just a mess because he was treated so poorly. He is all good now for the most part. Just very protective of me.
We share a home with a beautiful male Akita named Yuki. He ONLY barks for intruders and he sings the song of his people (a deep, primative howl) in order to accompany sirens. We live in a very small mountain town in Southern California and Yuki is truly our early warning system...and a blessing to us. ❤️
@Rh Live in Orange County CA and my family and I have always had American Akitas. It's a desert, so it does get hot but also cold at night. Anywhere near the coast and much of OC and LA county they'll be good in, far inland like Riverside is much too hot. Akitas are house dogs, so on the really hot summer days, our Kenji sleeps for much of the day and then patrols the backyard all night. Goes for walk in the morning and evenings. Keep in mind Akitas are not a great fit for most people.
@@Dickpuffnstuff as someone who lives in Riverside I can confirm it's the Devil's armpit down here in the summer, and gets pretty cold at night especially in the winter. Perfect my Queensland Heeler though not so much for my terrier mix who's a drama queen.
I cannot believe how adorable those little puppies are, i'm not the kind of guy that sheds tears after an overload of cuteness but this time was an exception
We had the privilege of having a brother and sister pair of Akitas in our family. We miss them deeply to this day. They are absolutely the most magnificent dogs. Our male greeted people entering our property with a leaf he would find on his cheerful bounding way up to meet them. He was special.
"A natural instinct to guard" So funny story time. I grew up with a pair of American akitas and one fall day, my mom was coming back from work. A Virginia opossum scared the daylights out of her - it was no threat to her but it wasn't what she wanted to run into on our front doorstep. The two full-grown American akitas inside? They could *not* have cared about the situation at all. As far as they were concerned the possum was coming over to play poker. They were intensely loyal dogs but my mom never forgot that 😂😂😂
I had an Akita when I was in my teens. She was the sweetest dog! She was a Japanese Akita that my uncle gave me for my 13 bday. She was 11 when she passed away. Now I raise Pyries
They’re only 8 weeks?! Their paws are massive, and they’re all so fluffy and chunky! As a lifelong member of the RBF club, I have to say that Kuma Jr. is my absolute fave. 😍
When you said they were big I thought you were just kidding but when they're on the drying table you can see how big they are compared to you and wow. I love how they fluffed up under the dryer. They're a beautiful breed. Thanks for sharing them.
Omg I was hoping they were Kuma’s offspring that is absolutely wholesome 🥺💖 *Edit: Kuma recently crossed the rainbow bridge according to Vanessa, and while the emotional pain is still fresh, it reassures me to know that he's survived by his wife Yumi and their puppies. Rest easy Kuma, we'll never ever forget you and your RBF 🕊💐🌈
They are Kuma's accident litter. Ugh, it's irresponsible to allow that without a full examination of both parents' genetics. If they didn't want an accident they should have neutered their dog. If they DID want to breed him, they shouldn't have allowed him around any unspayed dogs whatsoever. (And male dogs, for that matter, since the dog-aggression is worse if a male dog is unneutered).
@@mindykoch3340 They might have bought the dam as a puppy, and she might have had an early puberty. We don't know the circumstances. There's too little information to judge
@@raerohan4241 No, there is ample information: it was an accident litter. That alone is enough information to judge. They ADMITTED it was an accident; they admitted to that fault.
As an Akita owner I must warn, don’t let their cutie faces trick you! I’ve socialized my dog intensively so he’s super friendly until he sees male dogs. There is something about genetics that us human can’t change. Other than that, he is an adorable and clumsy boy with a booty of a Corgi 🥰 Edit: I must clarify for those who have Akita mix and think they’re safe. My boy is an Akita mix and yet he still not like male dogs that much. He plays with some and not good with other male dogs. It’s hard to know what may trigger him.
Thank you for pointing that out. Too many people think socialization = turning every dog into a quintessential labrador. Nope. All it does is make things better than they would have been if you hadn't socialized them at all. RELATIVELY better but still, genetics are genetics.
Same, I socialized my two so much I thought I went too far and made them mushes. Well, one day my sweet boy turned on like a light and went for a Lab whose owner simply said hello. We stopped going to the park then
My husband's 1st Akita was poorly socialized as a pup & didn't tolerate other dogs, especially males. Then I showed up w/a large male retired Greyhound & somehow they became the sweetest best friends. Total luck. Our current Akita girl can not be trusted around any dogs ... ever.
Exact same, my boy was raised with a husky and a chihuahua and went everywhere with me meeting lots of different people and dogs but then he started hating other males but loved females and tolerated senior males...He is too friendly with people tho because I ran a store and was able to bring him with me every day and not many could resist petting him lol especially when he would climb into the display cases and display himself lol he also loves kittens and cats for some reason, complicated beasts lol
I love Akitas. I was walking my aunts Akita when I was about fifteen and in the span of about five seconds all HELL broke loose. It took me a moment to process that Boog the Akita had a large pit bull pinned and flailing on the ground right next to me. It took the combined weight of about four passers by to separate the dogs and drag the still lunging pit away from Boog and me. One guy told me he’d seen the pit charging down the hill heading straight for my legs and Boog just basically whirled and bi”ch slapped him down in a split second, pinning him by the neck and shoulder. I’ve been attacked by pits before and I know what would’ve happened if this very large pit had managed to get a hold of me. And Boog handled him like he was nothing! So in my book, Akitas are effing awesome dogs to have around!
it seems like that pits hate u waaaay too much XDD . did u traumatise any pit before ? bcs it looks like they r passin the word between them like < u see him , u attack him period XDD> type of thing
Ok but how often do people come across a dangerous pit on loose and unleashed? Very highly unlikely unless you live in a bad neighborhoods with increased chance of meeting irresponsible owners and higher crime rates. In my entire life and anyone I know, nooone has ever been charged at by dogs neither pit bulls. You were just unlucky and at wrong place wrong time.
I think the real issue is that the people who get pits are idiot. Pitbulls can be insanely sweet dogs if theyre raised well. Unfortunately they mostly end up with moronnic owners@@janelleg597
Kuma must be a very proud father to not only have so many lovely puppies, but to also have to going to the same person he goes to when he needs some grooming.
This brings back lots of memories when my family's Akita had her own litter of 4 puppies, we had a big cage at the time and I used to love locking myself inside with them.
I’d like to say thank you for informing us on the different breeds, what to do and what not to do or purchase. I recently had a friend buy a husky. She complains about the holes in the backyard and under the fence. How bad she smells and THE HAIR! Omg - nonstop! I asked why she got one? They’re cute. There you have it! Thank you for what you do! 🐾❤️🐾
My ex DIL wanted a Viszla because of their looks. Never mind the dog is a hunting breed and needs a lot of exercise. So the poor dog ended up in a large crate for hours on end. They wondered why he was so destructive. Poor dog. But a lot of people do that, get the dog for its'appearance rather than what it was bred for.
@@ash2larOne of my in-laws has a working-line red lab who spends hours in a crate all day in a house that's too small for him and that also has two other dogs, one of whom isn't crated as often and the other is barely crated at all (unsure if she even has a crate tbh). So he can hear them moving around. He is very energetic and destructive, and the amount of energy he has pent up makes him more difficult to train (because he doesn't have enough outlets, so when it's go time it's GO GO GO time). He's a sweet dog, but it's so sad to see him in that situation. Why did this relative get this dog? He's cute...
That’s the cutest pack of cubs I’ve ever seen!!!! They’re precious! You have given them a great gift of knowing that a bath is not a bad thing! It’s so important to start grooming early! Great job as always! Much love from Oklahoma, USA 💗💗💗
I'm so glad you mentioned their dog aggression. So many people in my akita groups are in denial about it and then come back to the group once the dog has matured and can't figure out why it killed their other dog or cat out of nowhere. Theyre one of my top 3 favorite breeds, but because I plan to always have at least 2 dogs(and other animals), I can't take a risk like that. Loved seeing them in your video 💛🥰
What if you get an Akita male and female when they are still pups? Is it less likely that they'll harm eachother and will instead form a sweet bond? This dog is so beautiful.
@@marikookie9004 NEVER get two puppies. They can develop littermate syndrome(even if not related to each other). It makes it extremely difficult to train them because they're so codependent, they also are at a higher risk of attacking each other. So yes, opposite sex is good, but you want to wait until one of them is an adult(18-24 months) before you get a second one. But even then, there's still a risk. They're mostly same sex aggressive, but I've seen ones that are aggressive towards all dogs. So I would wait to see how they tolerate other dogs before getting another
I love how just Eclipse's face and front of her ears are black with everything else grey. Her face being a completely different color than her head is so cute and unique.
Akitas are too intelligent, strong & independent for most people. Like a husky/chow on steroids. Any large dog needs socialization but these brilliant stubborn gorgeous bears are not for the novice.✌💙🐶
I have an actual husky/chow mix. She's a sweet old lady now, but when she was younger? Yep, independent and strong-willed. Not quite stroppy, but when she got it in her head that something needed to be dealt with she brooked no interference. Absolutely beautiful dog too. I'd have another in a heartbeat.
I train dogs for a living mainly and I have to really be stern with people depending on their experience and breeds they want to get. A lot of time people want big dogs yet can't facilitate their true needs, especially when people want working breeds. It was heartbreaking in the beginning but now I care more for the future of the dogs than people's broken hearts. A couple wanted a husky, single. They both worked 60 hours and had a 1 bedroom apartment with no plans of getting a home soon. Also had never owned dogs before. The dude got kinda mad at me and I had to explain it to him smh. I've had to refuse service to many people who would want to buy our working line. Some would have cash and want to pay even more than the listing price and I'm like, nope. This breed was a competing choice for me but I settled on a specific line of GSD. God, I do love them. Shame we couldn't keep one with the bois I currently have. Dangerous smh.
For those who don't know, these dogs are often strong, stubborn and require to be properly trained if you don't want to have problems. But let me tell you : if you are dedicated to the training process and socialization, they are the best friend you will ever have.
Just here to say: I now have a 9 week american akita puppy. He meets nice dogs of both genders every day. Chasing dry leaves in the wind, and slowly but surely chewing my big toe into a stump. I cannot remember if I have ever felt more glad. He is amazing. He even helped me save a woman from dying of stroke. He is a good luck charm.
We had three American Akitas from when I was nine to twenty-four. Our first we adopted when he was 4-6 years old, and Pooh Bear was a big golden sweetheart who'd let my younger siblings use him as a pillow and herd us away from street corners. I swear he'd had some kind of service/support dog training with how he behaved, but somehow ended up as a stray. The next we got from a breeder because Pooh wouldn't get along with any of the females in the shelters nearby, and a six month old fluffy baby Bella was a sweet lovebug who'd bark at any women who came in the yard once her eyes started failing. Rocky was 4ish and we got him from some folks who'd kept him in the backyard, and he was an energetic guy who wanted to be a lap dog, with paws the size of my knees and would play-bite, just holding your arm, but always knew his strength. He didn't like kids running at him and would warn them away with nips, but he was smart enough to also never break skin. We lost Bella and Rocky the same year, her to age and him to a bone cancer on one leg, but gdi I still miss those meatheads and their waterproof fur and shedding everywhere.
So adorable! Thank you for pointing out the adult temperment and general health issues, etc regarding dogs we watch you tending to. Too many people seem to have the gut reaction of "cute puppy, I want!" without educating themselves as to what the adult animal will actually be like.
So cute! Our neighbors used to have a female Akita ~ named Kita. They werent very imaginative with dog names. They're beautiful dogs. Kita would watch over our sons playing outside and alert if anyone came in our yard. She was special!
"If you hear an Akita barking, you probably have an intruder. (...) And all I can say is, good luck to that intruder." Can confirm. My boyfriend's brother did the bad thing and came in through the garage door without us there to let him in. Our Akita, Kiba, immediately charged the door doing big barks at him. Thankfully, we have a gate between the living room and the door to the garage. It took A LOT of treats to get him to settle down. And he learned a valuable lesson: let us come and let you in, and Kiba will let you keep your face. ^^;
You're videos have literally helped me with my anger mangement, I get stressed easy and it often comes at as aggression. I usually don't feel anything from "normal cute videos" but you talking and educating the audiance makes it much easier to connect with the good and cute. I hope you have someone taking care of you the same way you care for animals. Oh, and my GF obviously also love your videos!
Duchess, our Akita thought she was a lap dog. Many times, after climbing onto the recliner we both found ourselves looking at the celling, we lost her back in '08, and still miss her.
Watching this video and I can hear my wife in the other room talking like a baby to my 1 year old Akita. They are the best dogs, and I’m happy you gave everyone a fair warning about their aggression.
They are loyal but protective. When people get dogs like this, it drives me crazy when they get mad or act surprised about their behaviors. If you want a dog that's built to work, have the time, space and resources to care for them properly. I mean, these dogs were originally bred for hunting bears, I hope their new owners know what they're doing.
There was a beautiful Akita puppy in my neighborhood back during the early Covid days. I’ve been petting him on his walks since his face fit in my hands!! He is the sweetest most well behaved dog. Doesn’t jump, lick, or bite. Excellently trained, adorable square black face!!
Just fetched one of these boys to my friend on 27th of December, absolutely lovely dog, he doesn't bark or cry at all, didn't miss his mother once, was more curious about fireworks in new year rather than being afraid, sits in front of the door to tell that he needs to take a number 2 etc. Very cute little unit, only negative is that my socks will be gone as he likes to chew on them
Akitas are, in my opinion, the best guard dogs. Such naturals at it. They were bred as imperial guard dogs in Japan. They do it so instinctively they require little training at it compared to most breeds. (They require plenty of training at many other things, however.)
When I hear Saki's name, it brought a tear to me. My Saki passed away a few months ago and I am still broken inside. My Saki was my best friend and constant companion. She is a Pomeranian and was about the size of the adorable Saki. I hope your Saki gives her family the love and joy mine did.
We just bathed our male Akita, Tatsu and RUclips suggested this video shortly thereafter. My son mentioned how he missed our girl Misaki. She was our first girl Akita and she was something else. She, along with the Akita’s I grew up with, are greatly missed.
I know it is hard work but I still think you have one of the best jobs. I also really appreciate the way you educate people about different breeds, that is so very important.
I love how proud eclipse looks when she’s taking her bath! She’s like “this is nothing!” After seeing her siblings go a little crazy when they bathed lol
"if you hear your Akita barking, you probably have an intruder" - so true. I walk an Akita mix who sometimes howls with joy when I turn up (plus I howl back 😅). She sometimes barks in a playful way too. But if she's barking normally when I'm in the clients house, I check it out straight away. She's a lovely doggo, although she has aggression problems with other dogs owing to poor socialisation by the owner... I always ask her to wag her tail if she wants a walk, knowing all she does is roll it from side to side 😂

They remain the silent type for most of their lives. They only bark for fun, while playing as young pups. They only play fetch while young pups.
Rest well Kong

He seem very relax
The ears moving up and down while blowing was so cuuute
When you said they were big I thought you were just kidding but when they're on the drying table you can see how big they are compared to you and wow. I love how they fluffed up under the dryer. They're a beautiful breed. Thanks for sharing them.
Omg I was hoping they were Kuma’s offspring that is absolutely wholesome 🥺💖
*Edit: Kuma recently crossed the rainbow bridge according to Vanessa, and while the emotional pain is still fresh, it reassures me to know that he's survived by his wife Yumi and their puppies. Rest easy Kuma, we'll never ever forget you and your RBF 🕊💐🌈
I wonder if we will ever get to see picks of the other Parent.
@@mindykoch3340 or if they own the mother aswell and didnt realise she went into heat either early or late and then it was an oops litter
Other than that, he is an adorable and clumsy boy with a booty of a Corgi 🥰
Edit: I must clarify for those who have Akita mix and think they’re safe. My boy is an Akita mix and yet he still not like male dogs that much. He plays with some and not good with other male dogs. It’s hard to know what may trigger him.
Yes my Akita will be 11 this April, she was socialised as a puppy when one day she just wanted to dominate other dogs in the park.
@@rimalaoui1391 sounds like a pit with a shit owner if they even got off leash
Ok but how often do people come across a dangerous pit on loose and unleashed?
Very highly unlikely unless you live in a bad neighborhoods with increased chance of meeting irresponsible owners and higher crime rates.
In my entire life and anyone I know, nooone has ever been charged at by dogs neither pit bulls.
You were just unlucky and at wrong place wrong time.
@@Hamyhamster24sorry no. Pits are dangerous. Many owners are idiots. Save me the excuses.
Just coming off of Covid and returning to work, this was the extra little serotonin boost that I needed to get me through the day ❤️❤️
Stay Strong Cara 😁
This brings back lots of memories when my family's Akita had her own litter of 4 puppies, we had a big cage at the time and I used to love locking myself inside with them.
I would have done the same, 1000%
I’d like to say thank you for informing us on the different breeds, what to do and what not to do or purchase.
YO a fellow okie!!!
Golden retrievers are also very cute
Do you know Mary Beth from Rovers Dog Grooming? She's in Oklahoma. 🐶
Yes! They see cute puppy videos like this and don’t realize the work and specifics of each breed.
Yikes
@@Taikuriketsuppi yikes
I swear mine clearly understood English lol. He would react to words even when we weren't talking to him.
Akitas and their weird cousin the Shiba! 😂
It’s kind of cool seeing Girl With Dogs blow up. I remember last year, she was small times, now she has over a million subscribers.
She was special!
that's adorable 😭
They are all so cute! I love how Kuma Jr. is just like his dad!
"If you hear an Akita barking, you probably have an intruder. (...) And all I can say is, good luck to that intruder."
Can confirm. My boyfriend's brother did the bad thing and came in through the garage door without us there to let him in. Our Akita, Kiba, immediately charged the door doing big barks at him. Thankfully, we have a gate between the living room and the door to the garage. It took A LOT of treats to get him to settle down. And he learned a valuable lesson: let us come and let you in, and Kiba will let you keep your face. ^^;
Love the philosophy.
The puppers are adorable, but "very angry" Casper has my heart. 😂🤣
Casper has the "You shall die tonight" -expression.
Oh, and my GF obviously also love your videos!
i would love her videos too if they helped my boyfriends anger issues!! lol
Good luck fighting the good fight
Yessss
I have such a soft spot for akitas. My childhood dog was a Japanese akita, with a brindle coat. She was such a sweet dog. RIP Tatsu
There was a beautiful Akita puppy in my neighborhood back during the early Covid days. I’ve been petting him on his walks since his face fit in my hands!! He is the sweetest most well behaved dog. Doesn’t jump, lick, or bite. Excellently trained, adorable square black face!!
I have an Akita and he absolutely hates licking/kissing lol I play with him and say give me a kiss and he just barely tongue taps my nose everytime 😂
@@AM-gw6nz Put some peanut butter on your nose :)
Omg! When they're wearing the happy hoodie they look so funny! Huge body and an itty bitty head lol. Too cute!
0:24 "No mistakes. Just happy accidents" ~ Bob Ross
She's stronger than me because I would have collapsed right then and there with this amount of CUTENESS OMG 😭😭😭😻😻😻😻
AHHH! They're adorable!!! (and casper's angry eyes at the end made me crack up!)
Casper is probably questioning the path that led it be among dogs 😄
Kuma Jr. was a stoic little man; you were washing him with the scary lava water the huskies have screamed about but he managed to survive the horrors!
Huskies are louder howlers than hound dogs!!! They just think that shampoo is worthy of a few prolonged howls called the shampoo serenade.
Oh my goodness they are extraordinarily adorable and fluffy, it is heart melting.
Love Kuma’s babies…miss Kuma 😢
So adorable!! Saki takes after the dad when it comes to the blowdryer. Same “expression” of enjoyment!
I am sorry for the loss of your furbaby.
I love how calm they are for the process! Shows just how good his parents are
I had to come back here after learning about Kuma, I mean Kuma Sr, passing over the rainbow bridge.
Those chunky puppies are ADORABLE! Thanks for sharing this video and the great information about the breed.
You’re a true professional, as I would still be petting & playing with them when they came to pick them up.
I got my American akita from an accidental litter. The happiest accident of my life for sure. Those little floofs are adorable
I know it is hard work but I still think you have one of the best jobs. I also really appreciate the way you educate people about different breeds, that is so very important.
OMG! I was waiting for more Akitas! They are so precious
Eclipse's ears!! Totally adorable. All of them are.
4:08 - That will OBLITERATE your heart due to overwhelming cuteness!!!!!
Omg the cuteness here! I love how they look like they have on a chunky sweater!
I immediately went to see what a brindle Akita looks like and I am so glad I did. Holy wow they are beautiful!
Me too!! Gorgeous.
LET'S LITERALLY GOOOOOO
