Ummm, Sorry to say but you have missed the real Hat Yai. What you show in this video is just places for tourists.
Hat Yai is not a small city, it is the most important city in south of Thailand and a big commercial hub for years. It is also a multicultural place with a rich culture.

Cant understand why uncle can spend 1900 baht to eat the frozen seafoods, 1900 can easy to find the good seafood restaurants for 2 person in Bangkok, u can eat as much as possible, Uncle can afford 1900 for 1 meat, why don't buy the flight ticket to Bangkok, and prefer to take the train, lol.

This uncle must be loaded with cash by the places he eat and went shopping or uncle prefers places with air-conditioning. Uncle must do lots of research before showing others places to visit and eat.

Different people have different definitions of loaded with cash. I only went to 2 places that has airconditioning. I show people what I like and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Thanks for commenting!
