That’s a crazy repair I didn’t think it was going be salvageable at the beginning that was a great idea to use the solder braid it will give some stability too.
Can’t recall off hand but I’ve never seen them go bad. If you google the K7000 manual, the last few pages give a component spec list and they should be listed there.
@mikesamateurarcademonitorr6856 Yeah, I had 2 that got crispy. 2.2k ohm. In circuit, however, both read 3 or 4 ohms. They are wired in parallel to the width coil and the other coil nearby(linearity I believe) . I think this the cause for the low reading, but I wasn't sure. I tested the theory with another g07 width coil. It seems to be correct. 2.2 out of parallel, 2 to 4 in parallel. Path of least resistance I suppose

Mike would be great if you make a video while you install this chasis in the paper boy at the arcade , great repair! 💪🏻👏🏻
Smeggin awesome repair sir ! Dammmnnn that was toasty .
Truly your magnum opus.
With the fuse not doing its job, the fire could have lit the whole cabinet!
Not specific to this repair, but do you prefer Denatured Alcohol for PCB cleaning vs Isopropyl Alcohol? Just curious.
Denatured. Doesn’t evaporate as fast and cleans easier in my opinion.
Why would you swap an LCD instead of just replacing the chassis? Are these rare?
He said the yoke of the tube might be damaged, and those are rare.
Medium res 19” monitors are super rare, yes. Only 4 or 5 games ever used them.
Shake it up. Cars.
Any idea what r98 and r99 read in circuit. I have a medium resolution with a similar issue.

Yes, they will read shorted in circuit due to being tied to the coil.
@mikesamateurarcademonitorr6856 you should sell some t-shirts or something. This content is awesome. Thanks for your help!!
