What's happening at Fungineers HQ.

You guys asked us for 2 things:
1. My vesc is overheating
2. We wanna make quick tyre changes.
So here's how we solved it..

Quick update on latest front vesc box design.
lids will be separately available for purchase, as well as part of a kit with the front box, and all electronics and hardware at fungineers.us !

I love it. A couple things to note which you may have already considered:
1) 2.5-2.75mm is probably better. In order to have an effective gasket there needs to be play between the two pieces where the rubber gasket forms it’s seal. That’s going to require either the box or the lid to get re-worked to have a channel for the gasket to go. That in turn will probably change the lid, unless you’d rather CNC the gasket channel right into the lid.
2) Please standardize a slot and opening for the LED bar. This is the most hateful part of current VESC boxes IMO. It’s insane that y’all been riding around without lights. I ride almost exclusively in the evenings and afternoons. NO ONE WANTS TO OPERATE ON A 3D-PRINTED BOX! Especially one they just spend good money getting made.
3) Obviously we need a lid-mounted lid option for the FOCers
