The alligator handle cup, and probably the elephant handle cup, were made by Kathleen and Dee Swayze who live in Brownsville, Oregon! I have the alligator one....purchased it around 1980.
I believe what you call the urinals are actually maple syrup cans. They hang from the hole to a nail in the tree to catch syrup and the spout at the bottom is to drain them into buckets.
Ray o Vac was a company that made batteries. The flashlights were complimentary when you bought batteries. The texas bowls are worth about $100. each. Don't give then away too cheaply. Think we need to send Wade to the naughty corner again Grandma V.
Oh my gosh those Texas ware bowls are worth money and the fiesta! 😂 you two crack me up 😆 thank you as much needed in these awful, scary times. Much peace and love to all from uk 🇬🇧 x
That one metal cup you think is a travel glass is actually a shaker cup My mother had one. You put water and cornstarch and shake it up for gravy. No lumps.
THE STAINLESS STEEL PITCHERS ARE OLD ENEMA BUCKETS A hose used to attach to the opening. Castile soap and warm water we used for Enemas back in the 60's
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏 15:59 That is how you release the pressure manually, on the pressure cooker. All pressure cookers have them. They're either a piece you take off or a piece that you tip.
Hi sweet family I appreciate and love your channel..I have covid and I’ve been very sick I have asthma and it’s been difficult. But you brighten up my day I appreciate you and your channel. Blessings. Margaret n Iceland
Blue mugs are Fiesta Homer Laughlin. The bed pan grandma liked the best had a female urinal inside. I have loved this locker and spending time with grandma venture
Wade... get in touch with your local beekeepers association...they'd be the best people to get honeycomb from & also honey made from bees in your area is great for helping with allergies.
I think the "urine cups" are soap suds enema cans. A rubber tube would be attached to the spout at the bottom of the pan. They used to save the remains of the little bars of soap from the patients rooms and the the nurses aides would fill the can with warm water and rub the soap remains together to make the "suds". They could be hung from an IV pole while the water was going into the patient. Exciting times when the hospital started getting little packages of liquid soap - like the size of a ketchup package. 🤣🤣
Sorry I am so late making this comment. The Fostoria crystal is "Beloved" Pricing around $13.99 at Replacements for a water goblet. This was my wedding Crystal, discontinued around 1970. I hope it will be on Grandma Ventures Poshmart site. I would like to buy it.
My grandmother had the aluminum flasks with the spouts and they were used to separate the milk from the cream. The milk settles down to the bottom and the cream rises to the top.you drain the milk from the bottom and the cream stays on the top for butter making.
If your going to get honey, you should get it local to you because it will have the pollination of plants in your area. Especially if you have allergies its supposed to help. Love the urine/maple cans :) Yes to the rulers with the nuns.
Wade u need to look up art deco, it definatley wasnt the 50s ,u need to know the diferance between art decoe and art novo.xx They are somavars .they originated in russia,xx
Wade there is no way a pressure cooker or canner would still be under any pressure. Once the jiggler is off of it the pressure would be release. The old one you couldnt get opened is stuck probably because of the old rubber gasket & your not familiar with how they lock & unlock. No reason to be afraid of them. Love watching you guys.
WAIT! WADE! You've never heard of Fiesta? omgosh... Please google Fiesta tableware - not only coveted but very well-priced! There are modern reproductions of Fiesta products but it's fairly easy to distinguish the valuable pieces.
At or about 22:00, the four stainless steel containers, I believe those are for performing an enema on a patient. A hose would attach to the nozzle end; when opened, the liquid would flow out and through the tube into the ... well, let's just say the receiving orifice. Hahah.
The blue speckled bedpan has lots more antique value than the stainless steel one. If I had it, I'd arrange pots of herbs in it and keep it in full view, LOL. Same box? The white slit-urinal is for women. In addition to egg beaters and other household utensils, this collection was rich in hospital paraphenalia. Good stuff - it I were teaching a class in appraisals, would love to have many of these wonderful artifacts. That bubble ashtray, Grandma V? My mom had that - two of them in fact - one was clear like the one you showed. The other was amber. I associate the latter with the Seventies.
I too love candles (and Grandma V in red - bravo!) - some you showed could be beeswax, There were several interesting ones - the set of green ones may have some religious significance. The spiral ones? Love those!
Grandma V - re: coffee - adding chocolate and other delicacies is the guiding principal behind Starbucks. Whip it, frappe it. My daughter has the same palate for coffee-fused-with-chocolate - she now drinks iced coffee and a lot of it.
I looked up metal pitcher with hole and spout and they are vintage military medical pitcher/dish bucket. Found it under Vollrath 8892. Pictures are exactly what you have.
That is not a coffee pot but a similar and is Russian, my favourite in the second box. I liked so many things but I'm very tired and in pain so I've only typed to say Wade he had me giggling with the frog, I cant see how to keep the tongue out to put a coin on it lol. I love the soda glasses and the hand worked tray but I have never owned an egg beater as I preferred a whisk as it didn't hurt my hand so much as the one at school did, Mum was the same. I do love your unboxing videos from home as they are more relaxed and so much more fun. Now to get some sleep so goodnight my dear friends, God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Watched the last two videos today great there must be no egg beaters out there in America you have them all as one of your viewer's said they must've been obsessed with them Denise you will have to think of a way to get Wade back for his little prank was a good laugh 😃 stay safe and well 🥰 from Australia 🇦🇺
I’ve been to San Antonio and we stayed in the Haunted hotel by the Alamo. We toured the Tower of America. It was a fun trip. Ghost adventure did a special on the haunted hotel.
A samovar is a russian invention that was (and still is) used to boil water for tea. You will see them in cafés and tea rooms in Russia. So... I wouldn't call that one a samovar having every increment of a coffee pot.

Pressure cooker lids..set the lid at 4:00 and twist on to 6:00 to seal.
Fiesta is very collectable, especially retired colors and ages!
I believe what you call the urinals are actually maple syrup cans. They hang from the hole to a nail in the tree to catch syrup and the spout at the bottom is to drain them into buckets.
Hahaha. I was hysterical when they thought they were urinals.
Ray o Vac was a company that made batteries. The flashlights were complimentary when you bought batteries. The texas bowls are worth about $100. each. Don't give then away too cheaply. Think we need to send Wade to the naughty corner again Grandma V.
What you called a travel cup is actually a tool used to make gravy. You put flour and water in it and shake it to get rid of the lumps.
Or mix cornstarch amd water for gravies and sauces.
Awww. The animal mugs are cute.
Oh my gosh those Texas ware bowls are worth money and the fiesta! 😂 you two crack me up 😆 thank you as much needed in these awful, scary times. Much peace and love to all from uk 🇬🇧 x

marlene - we seem to fall on deaf ears, I've told Wade that he needs to brush up (and/or learn) about the concepts. Before the 1920s, it;s art deco,
@@darlenewilson9851 If you look at some of the things he has for sale hes definatly breaking the false advertising rule.
Grandma Venture. I am interested in buying the two wood recipe boxes. Will you be posting them or including in an auction? Thank you
Fiesta is is very collectable especially the older pieces. They have brought the line back so you have to careful.

The metal pitcher’s look like enema cans we used when I was in nursing. The spout had a long rubber tube on it. LOL
We appreciate you all x

You should be in the gueniss book of world records for egg beaters !

Omg the pointing blue finger!!! What is that? Cracked me up. 🤣
I swear you could have the greatest kitchen ware museum..
Fort Worth, Texas area 🙂
I would still like to see the old cars from this unit ✌️❤️🔥🔥🔥😎😇🤑
In another video he says they couldn’t have the cars and the family was doing something with them.
He gave the cars and some other memento’s back to the family for free, bless him
To eat the comb you want it straight from the hive/fresh

A samovar is a russian invention that was (and still is) used to boil water for tea. You will see them in cafés and tea rooms in Russia. So... I wouldn't call that one a samovar having every increment of a coffee pot.
I'm from Texas!!❤
You got two wooden sock stretchers awhile back. If you still have them could you put them on the auction tomorrow?
How do you determine the age? Will management divulge such info? Thx.

I buy honey comb at health food stores. They should carry it there if you have one around.
