The soloist in this recording is amazing!
I stumbled into this... and I kinda like it. Downloaded one of her entire albums because of this video.
this is arguably a worldclass repertoire entry-level standard introduction to ensemble sound poetry & equally arguably so straightforwardly entry-level that it's kinda "yeah, whatever" but that principle soloist who takes on the 3 ululations toward the end nails this permanently into the record of Great Sound Poetry Recordings (& i'm more subjectively impressed by the intensity of her focus & the way she throws/loosens her body into the production of those 3 textures: wow!). kinda makes any further attempts at this piece irrelevant (though i think we're gonna try it anyway): excellent pace, clear articulation, escalating density, crisp endrelease: thank you!
0:58 me when I stub my toe
🤣🤣🤣
something about this would make it perfect for the soundtrack of a horror movie
I'd like to think Luca Guadagnino is already aware of her work but if not, I hope he hears this as soon as possible.
Brilliant!
My college professor just tried to get us to do this piece on the first day... This was HARD!
Apparently mine is tonight. hIs name is Ash.
I had to watch for my work
Joy of joys!
Stunning! Great performance of a great piece!
chillsss
PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA
School work comment very nice love the chaos very good very good
1:01 screammmmmmmm
Panda panda panda panda panda
Lol
Nice but it lacks the punch of the percussion foot stomping and to me that looses a huge part of the piece. The San Francisco Girls Chorus does it the way I heard it at Carnegie Hall with Michael Tilson Thomas and the National Youth Orchestra and I fell in love with it.
0:58 the girl sounds like Yoko Ono!
No! Like Meredith Monk! )
On la écouté en cour
Lo mejor? La posesa! jajajajaja.
This song is so bad it is good
It's such a different energy performed by 1.5 dozen people compared to 360, chorister age aside (and an Aussie conductor).
