As someone who grew up along side of their albums, and learning the background of each song, this album has literally made me cry in both Joy and emotional pain. not everyone can appreciate this album, but I can never not cry during some of there songs. the lyrics and their meaning have been something i can relate to.

Dude for real, everyone around me doesn't enjoy music with this depth and feeling. They all just want hooks and formulaic nonsense, I want to feel something when I hear music.

I had this same reaction to Cosmic, man. I cried. My husband kept trying to talk to me and i finally turned to him and went "sshhh you dont talk during church!!"
The album isn’t something you just listen to, it’s something you experience, every song is like a different genre or a mix of genres and they pull them off so well, they touch base with elements of every album, then add a whole bunch of new shit, flip it upside down and it fucks with everyone.
A casual A7X fan will need to have a real open mind when listening to it because Shadows was proven right by saying it was like nothing they’ve done before, some songs were admittedly uneasy to listen to at first, but once you get used to the fact that it’s different, it grows on you, A7X have massive balls to pull off something so unique to what everyone else is doing and used to.
And the album looks to tell a story, from start to finish, from first track to last.
If you like music it was amazing from first listen. If you are only into their old sound those are the weirdos having trouble

Cosmic, G and Game Over are perfect dude!!!! But for me Cosmic is the best song of the album and one of their bests songs ever so far
I’d have to agree. One of the most perfect displays of instrumental music ever. It combines so many genres over the course of the track it’s unbelievably impressive.
Yes all great songs, I also really love Mettel and Ordinary. But Cosmic may be there best song in over a decade.

I was so fkn hype for this album. As someone obsessed with space, The Stage was such a good album! And I loved the direction they were moving. After Nobody, I was curious to see what was next. We Love You made me preorder the vinyl. BUT when I heard cosmic for the first time, just laying in my room with it blasting. WHEN I TELL YOU I FELT ALL THE FEELINGS. It was a legit experience. I felt this song in my soul. I agree when you say "This band can do anything" because they can and they're not afraid to. This album was a huge risk tbh. But OMFG if it didn't pay off. Watching you and other people react to this song has been my favorite thing. Seeing people really feel it and love this amazing band. I've loved A7X since Waking The Fallen. With their ability to grow, adapt and try new things, I know I'll be a forever fan until the day I die.
Seriously wish i had a friend like you that shares this much excitement about this song as i do. Youre feeling the same raw and deep emotions about everything in this song and album as i did and im so glad that other people feel the same way as i do 😢
I absolutely love Cosmic, man this song is so fantastic! I think M. Shadows has one of the best rock and metal voices out there! Opinions will vary, sure, but give it to the guy, he is a huge part of what makes Avenged so great. Without him, it wouldn’t be the same band.
Is he the best pure vocalist in the world? No he’s not. But is he a perfect Avenged Sevenfold frontman? Yes, yes he is.

@@MacombMetalcorePodcast Shadows easily top 10 of history or the world metal voices, think in Maiden, Pantera, Guns, Metallica and mix their voices and add the incredible vocal timbre of shadows, shouting is one thing, singing melodic is another but for me the rasping of the voice and the melodic of shadows that versatility for me is the best I've ever heard

This song ant Mattel were my instant favourites. This album was definitely worth waiting for. I personally love Matt’s voice, his high notes give me goosebumps every time

This song has single-handedly gotten me into this band after not connecting with them back in the early aughts. I was stunned when it was over and actually shed tears at how poignant and ecstatic the sound was.
You should also experience the song Exist from the album before, which is also a fucked up journey
Try listening to it at night while riding a bike (preferably with a quality BT speaker in the backpack's side pocket, I have a JBL Flip 6 for that). Astounding.
The stage is an album worth checking out if you haven’t already. In my own opinion it’s a lot better than a lot of the stuff they’ve put out before that.

Ive listened to this song around 50 times so far and even listening to it in the background of your video I still get goosebumps every single damn time. I share your emotion and I’m glad to see someone else share the same feelings that I do for this band. I don’t have anyone I can really share my love of A7X with but the Reddit/YT/ Twitter Avenged community has been great to share everything with. Thanks again and I look forward to your album review.

Mattel is probably my favorite song on the album other than Cosmic.

Around 9:50 I have to disagree. Those who say that m shadows is not a good singer just don't like certain qualities of his voice. Anybody who understands music understands that he has an incredible range. And a complete mastery of all of the different styles of singing. Initially I did not like his voice but now I can't imagine the band with anybody else singing. Some of the qualities I initially didn't like adds so much depth to his vocal tracks.
