I think you're confused. People mostly don't like Shadows timbre/tone. Technically he is an outstanding vocalist, classically trained. Not to mention hes a baritone and can sing with rasp up till notes like G#5.

I think shads is pry one of the best vocalists out there. The stuff he can do and does live is criminally underrated

i agree w u 1:44 so much. i love self titled and i love all their new albums AND their old albums. i have every single one on vinyl except the black because it just wasnt danny, and wasnt my fave w/o him. I have a signed see whats on the inside vinyl and a framed LaHoF vinyl on my wall… i love everything they put out and this new album was SOOO satisfying. hopefully seeing them in concert with the hu in sept!!

I love this song! I feel like this is to his fans that just keep talking sh*t about everything they have done after reckless and relentless. Just my opinion. Also the beginning reminds me alot of creatures from death to destiny album. That's my favorite album of theirs as well.
